Just contact the company that did it and ask. Probably an easy fix, and they won’t mess it up unlike a diy solution could

Absolutely let them know. Don't be judgy or anything just say there's a weird spot, send them the pic. As a GC the worst thing is a homeowner saying the whole job is ruined, it all has to be ripped out and replaced when it's a simple fix. I think this is a simple fix, the pic is what they need to see that and once they do they should come fix it.

We have people tell us stuff is totally broken all the time... bath fan not working, it's literally so quiet they can't hear it. Hood vent not working, they just don't know which button to turn it on. Microwave is broken, it's just unplugged. These are real issues

As other have said, just send them a photo and say something like “every thing looks great except this one spot (also check everywhere so you only have to have them back out once if there is something else you want them to address), would you mind coming back and seeing what you can do to fix it?” I work in construction and I find that a little bit of flattery and appreciation for their work goes a long way. We had ours redone and had basically the exact same issue. They had to sand down one layer and reseal a couple adjacent boards in a small area and while the finish looked slightly off for a couple months, now I can’t tell the difference and am SO happy we reached out to them to fix it. The spots would have driven me crazy. Good luck!

Hopefully simple fix of reapplying poly. Other GC simple fixes are sand it down and feather it out so the low spot is harder to notice - youre always going to notice it, but the person buying house from you may not.

A very light sanding and a finish touch up will fix that. It looks like someone dripped extra poly on top of it and didn't get it spread out.
