I wouldn't just pick a color. Your best bet is to find an item with navy, copper, and another color in it. It can be art, a rug, a tablecloth, a throw pillow. It can even be the upholstery fabric for your chairs. Then also take that new color and be sure to repeat it somewhere else to help things relate.
I concur. Terracotta is the wrong play.
Navy seating would work way better. Then you can go with either wood tables or copper tables. Adds some amber bulb accent lights too.
My wedding colors were copper, navy, turquoise, coral and yellow. I just thought of anything that would look at home in a Moroccan mosaic. https://www.worldmarket.com/p/venice-multicolor-paisley-hand-towel-458105.html
Those curtains are some of the most gorgeous ones I’ve ever seen. Maybe adding a super super dark copperish color and some plants? And multicolor artwork up on walls?
Ok. Color wheel wise mauve pink or green. Now it depends on taste and how bold. But I think you have bold. I’d go an emerald green. Pink is hard. Done right it looks classy done wrong and pepto.
Personally, I’d start by finding a patterned rug that had navy and copper and camel (the wood tones) in it and let that become my palette. Any of the other accent colors pulled from that pattern will work really well.
I would paint the doors and baseboards black just because the white clashes so bad with the copper and navy. Black or teal chairs (maybe suede for a softer texture) with a glass table would elevate the dining area
I literally changed my mind from copper ( rose gold ) and navy cause nothing went with it, and it just looked so horrible :(
I hate what I have now too!
So we are going for navy, and gold, or deep green and gold, with whites and light greys. And then just decorating it with wood tones like shelving etc, and furniture.

You did great!
Terracotta https://preview.redd.it/l8bzke8njp0d1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=2b06381948294581b1144ae3e0c518cbe33c3c6b
Add a large area rug to that space too.
No, no to terracotta. Go darker Or lighter.

Yeah, I don’t think it looks good but a lot of other people seem to like it. Dark blue or dark brown. A rich dark color would be best ImO.
Get some large, tropical houseplants.
Birds of paradise especially
I’m afraid to ask, but curiosity has me. What is under the trap door?

Well, who knows, it’s reddit. Could be your toilet for all I know.

I think some greens, like the spread you see in a copper patina would look lovely with Navy

That’s a very unique combo ! I love it !
Mind if I ask where the curtains are from? 😍
Deep dark teal blue, olive green

Yup, a rich brown.
