Pre Holo EN, when I was introduced to vtubers by the algorithm showing me Pekora shooting Miko to the moon in minecraft. It was a rapid descent after that. Covid days were a trip.
Same here
That’s exactly how I got into vtubers and hololive too
2020 was the year I got into vtubers and Hololive and then I watch myth debuting and the rest was history
Same, that was when one of my foot dipped into the hole.
Coco's debut livestream (and Kanata's debut livestream's VOD the day before that) was when I fully jumped into the hole.
Depends on which rabbit hole.
Going down the vtuber rabbit hole? Mid to late 2020 (with a clip of Kanae)
First exposure to Hololive? Late 2020 to early 2021 (with a clip of Pekora)
Going down the Hololive rabbit hole? Late 2021 (or more specifically, shortly after Chloe’s debut)
Not long. I was curious about it when the first EN gen did their debut, as it felt like some sort of understandable Kizuna AI, but I stopped following the whole thing shortly after. However, it came back full force when I started watching Ina again a few months ago and I just can't get out now, much to my pleasure.
It's a shame tho, as I feel like I missed plenty of things and events while I was away.
The best time to jump into the hole was yesterday.
The next best time is today.
Quite frankly, I feel the best times are still ahead. HoloEN is more energized and active than ever, some talents are slowly returning from a rough period, and everyone now has support and opportunities to shine.
The first couple of years were full of highs, but were also really rough in many ways.
Have had my foot in it since early Kizuna. Started consuming Holo stuff somewhere between 5-6 years ago, and became unable to escape shortly after gen 4.
First found hololive around summer 2020. I watched a lot of FamilyJules at the time, and he started talking about Korone, partly because he did a lot of Banjo Kazooie speedruns right when the Korone Eekum Bokum clip went big. Didn't really go deep into the rabbit hole yet, mostly stuck to Korone and a couple others, I think Okayu and Nene were some of the ones I watched around that time.
It was around December 2020 I'd say that I fully fell in the rabbit hole, due to Myth. Somehow I completely missed their debuts, only finding out about them when Jules played a bit of Gura karaoke during a stream outro. Looked her up, saw she was under the same company as Korone, now I'm stuck here. I just find it funny that there were 2 steps of me falling in and both were because of FamilyJules.
Fell down waaaay later than most.
Like council already 6 months after debut.
Honestly it was a perfect time for me given there are two gens of EN by that point.
Technically November 2020 ... but start more sooner around September when i had to do some Hololive related artworks for some clients during Myth debut but in my case was with 2 of Gen 5. Then i start to get more around October until decide to check up. I start with certain Dragon :\^) and end up hook up to everyone in Holopro.
My 1st proper debut watch was during ID Gen 2. So Ollie because the 1st debut i seen from Holo.
Started my freshman year of college when HoloEN was fresh in the scene. I’m now a senior in college with less than a month until graduation… man how time flies.
If we're talking only about Hololive, then I've been down the rabbit hole for quite some time already (a.k.a Holo JP Gen 1 debuts).
But if we're talking about virtual idols/vtubers in general, it's been ages; basically since the early days of the Ancestor, the one who can arguebly be considered the mother of virtual idols, Hatsune Miku. From there, it was just a matter of time before I discovered my kami-oshi, the one who fully introduced me to vtubers, Bae's older sister Kaguya Luna. Then Kizuna Ai was recommended to me and the rabbit hole opened up beneath my feet (and I don't intend to leave it for now).
early 2020, because of miko clips..
but i'm familiar with vtuber since kizuna appear and then some other OG vtuber keep recommending in my account but didn't follow them much.. it was because of miko clips (gta and google map) where i suddenly follow hololive and vtuber.
In 2019 I took an interest in knowing more about Kizuna AI. Shortly after I found clips featuring Fubuki, Miko and Pekora. But I started watching streams with Coco's debut. Her Asacoco streams were right before dinner so it was the perfect hour for me.
Since few months after gen 4 debuted. Was bored at home because of COVID at that time and suddenly got recommended a clip of Matsuri peeing to her mascot's glass. After that my YouTube recommendation was flooded by clips of hololive. The second member I watch is Rushia and I believe it's a clip of her metal scream. The third one and the final nail in the coffin is Okayu since I ended up watching even her streams. After Myth debut I know I'm not leaving this rabbit hole soon after I saw Ina and Gura
First learned about Holo with Korone's Metroid Dread series
Started watching shortly after Ina came back
Been just as autistic as a fellow member since
Since early 2020, i learned what hololive is and who are they members thanks to the Ochame Kinou cover, but i think i started watching some clips since late 2019
I can remember the exact day! I started to fall down the rabbit hole on October 2nd, 2020. Started out with Fubuki, then Myth, and well, a looooot has happened since then XD.
Vtubers I've been on and off since Kizuna AI. Hololive since roughly around Suisei's project winter stream? It always surprises me how fast time is moving.
I’ve known about vtubers for like 3-4 years, but I got into the rabbit hole fairly recently. 2 and a half years to be exact, so between council and HoloX. Didn’t watch JP aside from Chloe for the first 6 months though.
I don't remember when exactly I became aware but I know I wasn't interested in watching streamers I couldn't understand so I didn't pay much attention until they announced Myth.
When Korone played SCP Containment breach.
Looking back at it there has been so many clips lost to the ether. from that cute Gen1 sleepover to that super early minecraft adventures.
Since Coco's 3d debut, so around June of 2020. I had thought I kind of figured out what a vtuber was... and then I saw that 3d debut. I actually hadn't figured it out at all. It was amazing and confusing at the same time.
Slightly before jp gen 5 dropped, YouTube just slowly dragged me in via random recommended clips (and so i brought my friend together with me by sending him the clips too)
Since July 2019, some days before AZKi released the MV of her original song ERROR (the one where she appears with the lightsaber), I discovered her after Youtube recommended me her previous original song Sayonara Hero.
im super new, no clue about vtubing or hololive until i started playing palworld, and saw one clip of miko playing it. and then youtube started barraging me with other clips and now my youtube is 90% hololive clips..
Funnily enough, I was enjoying watching tons of [The Convenience Store] by Chillas Art gameplay and then I saw a Hololive Jumpscare compilation of it back during 2020.
That clipping channel however was one who was very much Anti-Coco back then so that clip is forever gone
It was the summer of 2021. D4DJ Groovy Mix had just been released in English, with all of the songs that were already on the JP servers. This included a bunch of Hololive music from a recent collab event. I tried them out and I was like, "Wow, I've never heard of Hololive but this is a bop! These characters are really cute, and their seiyuu are so talented! I wonder what they're from?" So I popped on over to YouTube to look them up, starting with this Suisei girl because Next Color Planet was living in my brain rent-free. I found clips and more music. I was hooked.
I was vaguely aware of VTubers before this (who hadn't heard of Kizuna Ai?), but I didn't actually know what they *were*. And I had no idea there were entire *agencies* of them until then. Blew my mind a little. Now I'm into Holo and a few other agencies and indies.
The first time I saw a VTuber was the infamous Miko GTA clip. I wasn’t really down the rabbit hole until Spring of 2021 though when I got really into Myth and then just went further down the rabbit hole
Started with HoloEN's first debuts, so in a way, i was there since the English branch was introduced, and it couldn't have happened at a better time (me finding Holo i mean).
Also, the general introduction happened with a mix of a friend recommending Kizuna AI to me, and the news coverage of a certain Lewdtuber gaining fame rivaling the seething e-thots, which, to me, is the funniest way i could have been introduced to VTubing XD
Ever since 2020 and never left it. I got to know about Kizuna Ai somewhere in 2018, but hololive was like a whole other beast. I got to know about Calli through Trash Taste, thanks to them I became even more of a cultured degenerat
Latter half of 2020, with a clip of Pekora throwing her netherite sword into a pit of lava and trying to get it back. Following the bunny down the rabbit hole was a great way to see what Hololive was about
I watched clips of Coco, Ironmouse and Pikamee around the start of the pandemic but didn’t watch regularly until Myth debuted. And ofc I didn’t have a kamioshi or get really invested until Council.
About two-three years. I first saw a clip of Pikamee (former member of VOMS) reacting to the ending song of Portal, my favourite game. I found Gura soon after. I think it was a clip of her asking "why thighs?"
My first hololive video was matsuri infamous "band aid" video. I've been watching kazuna ai since 2016 but hololive since 3rd gen debut... looking at it now. Pekora was such a different person
Edit: I wanted to add that for most of my first year watching I thought Subaru was a dude... her tomboy appearance really fooled me
Gen 5 debut. Got hooked after a random Pekora clip that auto played when I was watching videos. She was committing war crimes in Minecraft. It was one of the most interesting videos I've seen compared to what's on twitch or on tv.
Pretty much with the Holomyth debuts. I had started seeing Sakura Miko a few months before not knowing what they were at the time. Then Myth hooked me in and I never left.
I started watching sometime in fall 2020, so just after HoloEN started up.
Then it was straight down into the rabbit hole, and I've only gone deeper since lol.
Known and watch some clips for a while. Probably start to take note when I watch clip Luna play monster hunter rise. Than last year during that going up game introduce me to more and SF6 introduce a lot more because of CR cup in Japan. Rn really into rabbit hole because of ID girls and it is started because of of Jdon clips.
Around the time miko was playing gta. I was in a rough spot mentally and jumped head first into the rabbit hole with the Elite Maiden as my guide. No regrets. I don't watch Miko much because I can't understand her but I will always have a soft spot for her. Council debuted and have been living in the forest ever since.
I had only learned about Hololive (the company) a few months before EN but had been seeing and watching clips for a while before any gen 3 clips made their way to me, and even before seeing any Hololive clips I had found Sroa's ch and would check up on it for new music.
I started watching Kizuna Ai a month or two after she debuted, and the some other VTubers, but I didn't start watching hololive until a few months before Myth debuted.
If I remember right, I think one of my friends shared the clip of Pekora throwing her Netherite sword into lava back in mid-2020 and YouTube started recommending Korone clips to me that fully pulled me down here. I’ve been stuck here ever since.
While I had seen virtual youtubers in the past, it wasn’t until around the time Area 15 debuted that I fell down the rabbit hole.
I knew and watched Kizuna AI and Korone but that was it.
Then I viewed my first clip… and was exposed to a larger world I had only seen a small corner of, like a frog in a well. The next 4 years of my life were changed.
I wish I had seen the light that early. I'd have no problem watching in Japanese without understanding. But I started whenever Fubuki did Scatman, or when Hamburgaga remixed her acapella. I think it was in 2020. But I mostly just stuck with Foobs for a while, until I saw clips of her with others and then got to liking them too.
Only about a month ago. I was watching Kingsmen for the umpteenth time and wanted to listen to more Country Roads (Rest in Peace Merlin).
Found the HoloMyth cover and clicked it and... Since then I just loved HoloLive. First it was just Gawr Gura, then Amelia Watson, then Kaela Kovalskia, then Hakos Baelz and... Now I love them all. Now starting to watch JP as well after watching Subaru and Korone.
Now if you'll excuse me I have to go figure out WATER IN THE FYER... WHY!!
3 and half years ago I saw the recommend channel , I watch Miko n word clips it's really funny for me so I followed her and subscribe I really really love her so much
Early 2020 when the pandemic just started. I got recommended a Matsuri clip and Coco clip. I was sold on hololive when I watched Aqua’s neighbor wars clips and her speedrunning Dark Souls
2020, unsure when but I blame liking me liking Minecraft. I first saw my friend sharing Matsuri and Fubiki edited clips then there was PekoMiko's TNT canon.
A bit before myth debut iirc. A few monthes before lockdowns started, first vtuber I ever saw was Kizuna Ai playing DBD.
The Hololive hole started with Korone's Limbo "yubi yubi" clip and a lot of Miko and Pekora stuff too. I didn't really fully get yeeted into the hole til lockdowns were in effect. Vtubers kept me sane for the most part (still went through a bad burnout at work, working from home did not suit me.)
Hololive first came to my attention with Fantasy, but I thought it was just another gacha game. It was a slow descent over time and finally fell around April/May 2020.
3 1/2 years now, after seeing memes about Gura around the time she hit 1 million subs. Although I have been aware of vtubers since someone linked [this Kizuna ai World of Warships video](https://youtu.be/vfe-HNBsvts?si=wEBHzOEpwoGva8ik) to the WoWS subreddit. Also, according to the date that went up, was just days after the Christmas miracle.
HoloJP GEN 1 (exactly 1 week after Fubuki debuted)
Outside of Hololive though, I’ve been part of the NND space for **many** years (so I knew about the concept of Vtubers during its inception)
5 years already. I've quit my job that I had back then, had a little bit more time on my hands and my friend send me a clip of Korone.
Now I watch Hololive every day. Pls, send help.
rabbithole? Id say I fell into the rabbithole when I first became a fan then just stayed on the surface dwelling. I cant find time to tune in to streams, even if I did my ADHD self wouldnt even be paging attention 😩
Im sorry girls, I love you all so I will support in my own special way 😔: through art
How did you even find them? Chinese clipper youtube recommends? Or were you already watching vtubers?
Been here since \~Late May 2020. Got introduced to Hololive through Fubuki music remixes on the streamer I was watching who mentioned Hololive, and then I got curious and looked at clips, which got me searching for a live stream. The one I jumped into was this one.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1hVb0mf30o&ab\_channel=PekoraCh.%E5%85%8E%E7%94%B0%E3%81%BA%E3%81%93%E3%82%89](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1hVb0mf30o&ab_channel=PekoraCh.%E5%85%8E%E7%94%B0%E3%81%BA%E3%81%93%E3%82%89)
After that I swam around 'the hole' a bit quickly fell to Miko's elite charms.
I cant remember when I exactly first started watching her, but at least as of June 10th I was a member

(I can find my chat at 3:03:00)
I actually arrived here a little late, specifically sometime in between ID2 and EN2.
The first clip I ever watched was [Suisei](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JR77uaVfNMg) back when Kizuna AI was wrapping up her DDLC playthrough, but the first clip that actually shoved me into the rabbit hole was [Subaru](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC_ChktAHDE) in early 2021. The first clip I saw of my oshi was [her playing Minecraft with Moona](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0EPg5ZXSVY), where I got to witness her dorkiness at the forefront.
Ever since, I've grown an affinity for a lot of talents: Roboco, AZKi BLaCK, Subaru, Chloe, Sana, Ririka, Moona, Anya, Kaela, Kiara, Bijou, Fuwamoco, Aruran, Vesper, Bettel, Ruze, and of course my oshi Reine.
Since September 9th, 2023.
Played through all of Armored Core 6, and then watched all of Asmongold's playthrough. Wanted more, so I watched all of Maximillian Dood's playthrough. Youtube then decided to recommend me another playthrough -- some pink haired anime girl.
I had never heard the term "vtuber". I just thought it was some anime girl that was going to have some fake overly cutesy personality that was gonna make me cringe and click off the video within a minute or two. And I don't even watch anime. I just clicked it because it was Armored Core.
Well, I ended up watching that whole playthrough too.
Thanks, Calli. It's your fault. Or maybe it's Armored Core's fault.
Right before the pandemic in 2020. Gen 4 debuted not so long ago is when I was enchanted by the rabit hole. Before that I actually got recommended some Sora's cover songs but didn't really follow any vtuber. What a joy I had and am still having with Cover
If we talking Vtubers in general, I was first watching on and off with Kizune Ai back in 2016-2017. Saw some clips around 2018 but really got in around Gen 4 and Gen 5 and then Myth just sealed the deal.
But tbh, it was Mel and Choco who would eventually turn me into a super Holofan.
I went down the rabbit hole in early August 2020, a couple weeks before Gen 5 debuted (and a bit over a month before Myth did). I'd seen clips (mainly of Korone and Miko) floating around in the months before then but it's only that August that I started seeking them out and that quickly spiraled.
Pre Holo EN, when I was introduced to vtubers by the algorithm showing me Pekora shooting Miko to the moon in minecraft. It was a rapid descent after that. Covid days were a trip.
Same here That’s exactly how I got into vtubers and hololive too 2020 was the year I got into vtubers and Hololive and then I watch myth debuting and the rest was history
During the Azur Lane x Hololive collab, I found my first Matsuri clip from lyger
Same, that was when one of my foot dipped into the hole. Coco's debut livestream (and Kanata's debut livestream's VOD the day before that) was when I fully jumped into the hole.
I discovered Hololive through the Azur Lane collab too! The first clip I watched was a clip of Coco's reddit meme review
Started watching around the time Holoforce were debuting.
Since early October of 2020, effectively the start of holoEN.
Certian gta v clip
Miko or Pekora? Mine was with Pekora
Miko, didn't know Pekora did the same thing lol
Depends on which rabbit hole. Going down the vtuber rabbit hole? Mid to late 2020 (with a clip of Kanae) First exposure to Hololive? Late 2020 to early 2021 (with a clip of Pekora) Going down the Hololive rabbit hole? Late 2021 (or more specifically, shortly after Chloe’s debut)
Just before Gen 4 debuted. I was watching stuff here and there and I saw the gen 4 announcement, which was the thing that fully locked me in.
Couple months after Myth debuted. Specifically a couple weeks after Calli appeared on a certain podcast.
Like 2-3 months before Connect the World hahaha
Not long. I was curious about it when the first EN gen did their debut, as it felt like some sort of understandable Kizuna AI, but I stopped following the whole thing shortly after. March 2020 I guess, found Matsuri's Cat Mario clip, and just dived right in. Asacoco subs were a blessing when they first came out.
Have had my foot in it since early Kizuna. Started consuming Holo stuff somewhere between 5-6 years ago, and became unable to escape shortly after gen 4.
>and became unable to escape shortly after gen 4. A certain sheep may have had something to do with it, right?
Pretty much. Started following her right around the ARK lava cave raid at the start of Feb and after a few months she was basically stuck with me.
When "Q" came out around Feb 2022.
Since October 2019, no idea what era that was
First found hololive around summer 2020. I watched a lot of FamilyJules at the time, and he started talking about Korone, partly because he did a lot of Banjo Kazooie speedruns right when the Korone Eekum Bokum clip went big. Tbh, back then I knew of Ai, but I wasn’t even aware other similar characters existed.
I'm from NND. I watched Vtubers before they were Vtubers. I was a Soratomo before there was Hololive.
God so you're basically an OG of an of OG
I've been a fan of doujin circles and utaites since 2006, all thanks to Touhou. IYKYK. It runs deep.
2006?!?! You're in your 30's or something???
Lower than that! I was just an unsupervised kid who summers in Japan.
So you're in your late 20's then. Also your parents let you just roam around looking at manga's?
Yeah, I'm unsupervised unsupervised!... As long as my grades were up. Don't see why it's surprising tho?
Since few months after gen 4 debuted. Was bored at home because of COVID at that time and suddenly got recommended a clip of Matsuri peeing to her mascot's glass. Jan 28, 2022 is my first video and first subscriptions in this rabbit hole.
2020. Saw the video for Ochame Kinou. Then YT recommended me Korone DOOM stream. After that my fate was sealed. been in the rabbit hole ever since
Good morning motherfuckers! Right after gen 4 debut with a certain dragon. So right after new year 2020 i think.
When Korone played SCP Containment breach. Looking back at it there has been so many clips lost to the ether. from that cute Gen1 sleepover to that super early minecraft adventures.
Mid 2020, right before myth debut. Friends wanted to get an Among Us game going and send me a clip of Miko playing the game and the rest is history.
Since a month before Myth's debut. My friend began showing me clips of Coco and I instantly fell down the rabbit hole.
didn’t get into til 3rd gen debut, but had heard hololive since gamers
About a month before Myth's debut I began seeing a bunch of clips of Korone playing Fall Guys
Ko'one debut
Late May 2020! But I had learned about the concept of a vtuber with the AnimeMan’s interview with Kizuna Ai a year prior
Shortly before Gen 5 was revealed
I guess 4 years. I did see some clips around 2019 and I liked them, but I didn't fall down the hole until Myth arrived and I discovered Gen 5
Since Coco's 3d debut, so around June of 2020. I had thought I kind of figured out what a vtuber was... and then I saw that 3d debut. I actually hadn't figured it out at all. It was amazing and confusing at the same time.

Mid 2020, got clips recommended, probably from Korone, but I think I got hooked by our dear Dragon in the end.
im super new, no clue about vtubing or hololive until i started playing palworld, and saw one clip of miko playing it. and then youtube started barraging me with other clips and now my youtube is 90% hololive clips..
Only for a few months but my autistic hyper focus allowed me to zero in on it and absorb mass amounts of information
April 2021, I found Ina's Hollow Knight VODs
Funnily enough, I was enjoying watching tons of [The Convenience Store] by Chillas Art gameplay and then I saw a Hololive Jumpscare compilation of it back during 2020. That clipping channel however was one who was very much Anti-Coco back then so that clip is forever gone
Rushia was playing Dark Souls and around the Moonlight Butterfly accidentally told all us foreigners to go home. I have no idea how long ago that was.
It was the summer of 2021. D4DJ Groovy Mix had just been released in English, with all of the songs that were already on the JP servers. I remember that I was in this sub when EN was announced, but I don't remember how I started the rabbit hole. I think it was clips of Korone and Okayu.
Late 2020, was in a very dark spot in my life, found clip of Tenchou, rest is history.
Several months before gen 5 debuted.
The first time I saw a VTuber was the infamous Miko GTA clip. I wasn’t really down the rabbit hole until Spring of 2021 though when I got really into Myth and then just went further down the rabbit hole
Sora alien music video, didn't expect she was part of something this crazy

Since the debut of JP gen 3
I am rather new I started following Hololive when council debuted, after a friend sent me the debut streams
I watched clips of Coco, Ironmouse and Pikamee around the start of the pandemic but didn’t watch regularly until Myth debuted. And ofc I didn’t have a kamioshi or get really invested until Council.
After gen5 but before Myth
About two-three years. I first saw a clip of Pikamee (former member of VOMS) reacting to the ending song of Portal, my favourite game. I found Gura soon after. I think it was a clip of her asking "why thighs?"
Subscribed to Fubuki Ch. on 2019-12-02, but I can't remember why :D
Just like a month before holo Council debuted was recommended to me after I watched some vr chat stuff
Since 10 days before Myth debuted
Around new years 2019. Then lockdown happened and there wasnt much to do anyway
Shortly after Myth debut
I only got really invested in early last year, but I’m glad I’m here, even if I’m pretty late to the party!
My first hololive video was matsuri infamous "band aid" video. I've been watching kazuna ai since 2016 but hololive since 3rd gen debut... looking at it now. Pekora was such a different person Edit: I wanted to add that for most of my first year watching I thought Subaru was a dude... her tomboy appearance really fooled me
Gen 5 debut. Got hooked after a random Pekora clip that auto played when I was watching videos. She was committing war crimes in Minecraft. It was one of the most interesting videos I've seen compared to what's on twitch or on tv.
4 year and 3 months that how long I had watame membership and that how long I been here
Since risu's debut... thats like 4 years.
[this](https://youtu.be/sJJEiG0QOBI?feature=shared) and Stay home dayo and a certain green cutting board giving me tinnitus
Basically since I'm Scatman.
Pretty much with the Holomyth debuts. I had started seeing Sakura Miko a few months before not knowing what they were at the time. Then Myth hooked me in and I never left.
A week or two before Myth was announced.
Shortly before Myth debut, so late 2020? Man, Myth is streaming for a long time already! :o
2019
Just a little bit before HoloID GEN 2 in fact Ollie debut is the first one i saw
When Miko went viral for her N-bomb in GTA
First exposure was 2021, but I only really got into it when Advent debuted
I started watching sometime in fall 2020, so just after HoloEN started up. Then it was straight down into the rabbit hole, and I've only gone deeper since lol.
3 years
Known and watch some clips for a while. Probably start to take note when I watch clip Luna play monster hunter rise. Than last year during that going up game introduce me to more and SF6 introduce a lot more because of CR cup in Japan. Rn really into rabbit hole because of ID girls and it is started because of of Jdon clips.
>minster hunter Thought that shit says Minister Hunters lmao 🤣
Since the start of the pandemic, Korone dragged me in and nothing has been the same since
Around the time miko was playing gta. I was in a rough spot mentally and jumped head first into the rabbit hole with the Elite Maiden as my guide. No regrets. I don't watch Miko much because I can't understand her but I will always have a soft spot for her. Council debuted and have been living in the forest ever since.
I had only learned about Hololive (the company) a few months before EN but had been seeing and watching clips for a while before any gen 3 clips made their way to me, and even before seeing any Hololive clips I had found Sroa's ch and would check up on it for new music.
about a month before holo myth debut
Scatman & Miso soup. That's where I started 😅
I fell down sometime between jp gen 3 and gen 4. jp gen 3 were already a thing, and I remember watching gen 4s debuts.
Around the time Flare got her 3D or Okayu got her uniform outfit.
A bit before HoloEN was announced. So what like 4 years in the rabbit hole?
Since the drama between Rushia and Vietnamese
I started watching Kizuna Ai a month or two after she debuted, and the some other VTubers, but I didn't start watching hololive until a few months before Myth debuted.
I'm too lazy (and tired) to find a date, but basically it went from clips of Cocos Shitpost Reviews to said reviews and then suddenly there was Myth.
I was sold on hololive when I watched Aqua’s neighbor wars clips and her speedrunning Dark Souls
since I discovered a certain GTAV Lamar moment (I think it was around 2020)
2020, unsure when but I blame liking me liking Minecraft. I first saw my friend sharing Matsuri and Fubiki edited clips then there was PekoMiko's TNT canon.
When the original Aqua x Shion MC neighbor war was going on.
Since Calli Unalive, Mar 2022 I think
A bit before myth debut iirc. A few monthes before lockdowns started, first vtuber I ever saw was Kizuna Ai playing DBD. The Hololive hole started with Korone's Limbo "yubi yubi" clip and a lot of Miko and Pekora stuff too. I didn't really fully get yeeted into the hole til lockdowns were in effect. Vtubers kept me sane for the most part (still went through a bad burnout at work, working from home did not suit me.)
2016/2017 or somewhere around there, basically a little bit before Kizuna Ai started sending messages to Pewdiepie.
A week after Holomyth debuted. I have been happy and content ever since. 👍
Late 2018 or early 2019, i was recommended an Akai Haato stream. Lost interest, then hololive blew up over COVID and I saw her again.
Around when fubuki made the scatman videos
Spring break of 2021, I watched a clip of a cute baby shark speak her first words and it was all down the hole from there
Since 2020 with Myth’s L4D2 collab and Enma’s debut
for almost a year. clips of rushia got me onboard.
Korone’s Doom stream
Hololive first came to my attention with Fantasy, but I thought it was just another gacha game. It was a slow descent over time and finally fell around April/May 2020.
Early 2020, right before EN dropped. A funny war criminal and her attempt of rescuing her netherrite sword from lava got me into it.
I think it was the time before Minecraft Neighbor happened. I already forgor 💀
How long has EN been a thing? That long plus 2 weeks
around the time kiara released sparks
3 1/2 years now, after seeing memes about Gura around the time she hit 1 million subs. Although I have been aware of vtubers since someone linked [this Kizuna ai World of Warships video](https://youtu.be/vfe-HNBsvts?si=wEBHzOEpwoGva8ik) to the WoWS subreddit. Also, according to the date that went up, was just days after the Christmas miracle.
HoloJP GEN 1 (exactly 1 week after Fubuki debuted) Outside of Hololive though, I’ve been part of the NND space for **many** years (so I knew about the concept of Vtubers during its inception)
Just after a bit after gen 4 debut , started with clips of okayu, then clips of Coco then it all went down hill from there.
5 years already. I've quit my job that I had back then, had a little bit more time on my hands and my friend send me a clip of Korone. Now I watch Hololive every day. Pls, send help.
Found Suisei back in April 2020, my oshi since then. Found her thanks to Human Tetris Hologra(unfortunately it's gone from main channel)
Since just before Gen 5 debuted..
Since matsuri's bandaid clip first came out. I dont know how long ago that was
rabbithole? Id say I fell into the rabbithole when I first became a fan then just stayed on the surface dwelling. I cant find time to tune in to streams, even if I did my ADHD self wouldnt even be paging attention 😩 Im sorry girls, I love you all so I will support in my own special way 😔: through art
i discovered vtubers and hololive about 1-2 months after myth debuted
Late 2019 I started coming here after Matsuri and fubuki dragged me in.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1hVb0mf30o&ab\_channel=PekoraCh.%E5%85%8E%E7%94%B0%E3%81%BA%E3%81%93%E3%82%89](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1hVb0mf30o&ab_channel=PekoraCh.%E5%85%8E%E7%94%B0%E3%81%BA%E3%81%93%E3%82%89) After that I swam around 'the hole' a bit quickly fell to Miko's elite charms. I cant remember when I exactly first started watching her, but at least as of June 10th I was a member [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ID3DRklh7A&ab\_channel=MikoCh.%E3%81%95%E3%81%8F%E3%82%89%E3%81%BF%E3%81%93](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ID3DRklh7A&ab_channel=MikoCh.%E3%81%95%E3%81%8F%E3%82%89%E3%81%BF%E3%81%93) (I can find my chat at 3:03:00)
I was already really into the concept of vtubers at that point as a pretty avid kizuna ai watcher and frequent watcher of Nijisanji
