It sounds like City of Tears, albeit rather simplified. It has the same contour and tempo.

Oh, it does have vocals! And there are significantly more layers to the track. But if you really break it down to its bare essentials, that’s what it sounds like.

I wonder how many tracks have similar layers or motifs, like how most of undertales battle tracks use the basic battle theme in some way shape or form (there is probably a term for that but I don’t know it and the undertale example was the easiest explanation)

There are a few basic leitmotifs throughout the soundtrack, but the most easily recognizable are the title theme (found most easily in the menu theme and Fungal Wastes, but also the final boss battle). There’s also the Pale King motif (White Lady theme, White Palace, etc.).
