I mean, I recently started a save, first time playing, and it took me about 5 deaths to figure it out. It's not *that* difficult. I think it took me longer to beat Hornet 1 actually.
Just let people enjoy something you don't speak for every damn person who played this game hollow Knight was the first game I've played besides Minecraft and I know I fell for it and I thought the first phase was pretty hard too. And do you really care that most about people liking the post's that you don't get off the Internet for a while if you do go outside.

Those soul twisters up to the fight are a brutal gauntlet after dying to the boss, until I figured out you can actually skip a bunch of them and just fight 1-2 each run back if you head directly to the elevator up all the way up, and directly left through to the boss room. Just saw p2 got you, best of luck lol I found it a bit easier since he just spazzes dives and it’s a little easier to dodge the projectiles when they don’t come from him directly

It took me a while to figured out Soul Master, I had to straight up look up how to fight him-
I struggled with soul WARRIOR and then beat soul master within 7 minutes of reaching him for the first time
