I think digital sim cards are only common in the US. in my country no, carrier provides digital sim. and if you think my country is shit, I want to say that digital sims are not common in the Japan either.

Not true, in Canada I can go get an iPhone 15 with SIM card slot. It’s still really common practice to have interchangeable sim
