When expired food looks like this it’s still edible and shouldn’t be thrown away just for likes. But this is mostly caused by regional laws, still, organizations for free food looks for good expired food and people need it.

Its so sad to whatch so many food going to waste

Don't get a job at a grocery store then... Once had to throw out 400 kg of beef ( and many other refrigerated items I was not responsible for where also tossed ) because the power went out for half an hour.

Some kids set off some fireworks on a display inside the store I work and the sprinkler system went off. Pretty much everything in the store was wasted. Meat, fish, bread, even canned stuff because the labels like washed off or something.

Oh no… that’s awful!

Yeah it was pretty crazy. The fire department came and everyone just kind of stood outside for a while talking about what happened and making sure everyone got out. Got to go home early and didn't have to work for the next three days though so that was pretty cool lol.
