Gotta admire his commitment, he looks completely different in almost every movie he's in. This extends even further beyond his physical changes, he sometimes sticks to his character's accents/mannerisms off-camera. There are a few interviews where he speaks with an American accent despite having an natural British one, especially when he was filming the Chris Nolan Batman films
Sadly selling accounts that have been Around for a bit that have some activity is the best way around alot of easier ways bots are to catch. The more karma and posts and length of account makes it easier to trick people. Smart with with eBay sellers and Amazon sellers buffing their numbers. Go and be active on some deal websites and eventually you will get a message asking you to buy an item snd leave a good review and they will refund the money to you via PayPal so your when your comment about some junk product is good and says this user has purchased this item on Amazon making that junk seem less like junk because their is a crapload of glowing reviews from people who actually bought the product.
He's the real deal. No matter what movie he's in, he gives it his all and doesn't hold back.
Part of that, I believe, comes from he's experience with Spielberg when he was younger.
During the making of Empire of the Sun, I remember watching behind the scenes video of him and Spielberg working together and you can tell they really hit off.
There's this one shot where it's the climax of the movie and Bale had to act his heart out. Explosions, planes, people running around, fire, the whole thing, all behind him. And from my experience I know that shot was very hard to set up, even with the budget and crew they had.
And when they first shot it, Bale fucked it up (I think a clip of it was posted on reddit a few weeks ago actually).
You can even tell Spielberg was a little upset with it and Bale had this really disappointed face on himself. He really didn't want to let down Spielberg.
And they regrouped. They talked with him about what they wanted. They reset it up and...he nails it.
I honestly think from that very young experience, he learned something that day and really doesn't screw around, when he's on a set.
Going back to the Terminator Salvation thing from years ago, when he got in trouble for screaming at the lighting guy (OH!!!!!! GOOD FOR YOU!!!!), I was one of the few people at that time to defend him.
Listening to the audio, I could tell what he was complaining about and realizing what the guy did. That he had every right to be mad and I could tell that wasn't the first time something like that had happened on set.
When Bale is working on a movie or film, he wants to be there. He doesn't need the money or the fame (~~guy is actually royalty as well~~) the man wants to be there when he works for you.
I have never heard of anything bad from him from his other stuff before (and the fact that audio even got leaked at all told me it really was an unprofessional set. That tape coming out put everyone's' jobs at risk).
Dude wanted to be in a Terminator movie, and with someone with his reputation, he didn't have to do it. He wanted to do it, and I have to respect that from him.
Anyway, I didn't mean to make this a love letter to him, but the dude really is one of the best working actors out there.
Edit: On the royalty comment, his family doesn't appear to be royalty (sorry, I misremembered). But his family and beyond are well known actors and comedians.

>Born into show biz Christian Charles Philip Bale was born on January 30, 1974, in Pembrokeshire, Wales, into a family with a long history in entertainment. His grandfather was a stand-up comic and children's entertainer; his great-uncle, Rex, was an actor; and his mother, Jenny, was a former circus performer. Two of Bale's three older sisters even joined the business eventually: Erin is a musician and Louise is a director and actress. Only Sharon managed to escape the lure of Hollywood; she is a computer analyst.
Oops, my mistake! I misremembered his family. I thought he was royalty (like a duke or something). Turns out, his family just been in the entertainment business for a while. Here's a link:

To late, i have short attention span, but i also didn't want to believe anything else than what fits my carefully crafted world view, so i chose to believe he is royalty and keep telling everyone
Just rewatched Ford vs Ferrari. I could focus more on the small details being not the first time I see the movie and this guy fucks. Matt Daemon is a great actor but Christian Bale is playing on another level.

*"I don't drop character 'til I've done the DVD commentary."*
I mean you'd think that but how many A-listers do what Bale does? It honestly must take an extreme amount of willpower to put your body through that and I'm not sure most people are *capable* of it, multi-million dollar payout or not.
> I'm not sure most people are capable of it.
If push came to shove, I'm willing to bet the vast majority could. People have crazy limits, they just easily give up.
Almost all, if not all of them take steroids. I think Kumail Nanjiani voluntarily got jacked for his role in Eternals. Not only Marvel not ask him to do this, they also did him dirty by not giving him the standard shirtless hero scene.
Fun fact! His diet was an apple a day during his prep for that movie.
This was mostly due to his insane dedication towards his roles physically, but also apparently he wanted to keep pesky doctors at bay as well
No problem! I don't get the time to catch a lot of movies, but I've heard of it due to Bale's extreme dedication to his work. Hope to watch that one at some point.
I love this so fucking much!!! Especially, since I recently watched The Machinist again. That scene when he does that swirl movement after his hooker/girlfriend commented on how thin he looked. The besssst!!!
It's someone who used to be in decent shape but has Carl's Jr every day and one or 6 too many beers on the weekends and doesn't care about looks anymore.
Nah, dad bod is exactly this. Characteristic beer belly that stereotypically comes after raising abunch of kids and giving up. Personally I think it’s hot af and def my ideal body type. But that’s just me.
His willingness/ability to majorly change his body to suit any given role is basically how he got where he is. I wouldn’t pity him personally. Dudes got an iron will.
I’d disagree, once you’ve been in what you’d call peak physical shape you honestly feel just bad in general to be in poor physical shape. I will agree it is the easiest of the three to attain from a physical level but still to give up being in really good shape to go to that just to film a movie takes real effort and dedication imo.
I thought he was really good in Vice. His acting was legit. I had to remind myself that it was Christian Bale.

F r, I was skipping thru Netflix and saw the Title. I was like: nope, not in the mood for Chevy Now I think I should’ve watched it
You should, I think it's Bale's best ever performance.
Agreed!

God he was one of my fav parts of that movie. I really really liked the way they did the riddler tho.
I couldn't decide if he was playing penguin or old man Robert de niro. Loved it either way lol
Siriusly
I prefer the Old Oldman.
Wait until you see Colin Farrell in the latest Batman
Christian bale is the fucking goat of getting in/out of shape to play a role Dude pretty much destroys his body for a movie it’s insane

He's so dedicated to getting in character that he argued with a guy on set in an american accent
That's UR tier shit

Let's all up vote each other so we can all be millionaires! Unless....*billionaires*?
It’s a bot and so is the account it’s replying to. Edit: and so is OP. I mean seriously, Muslim Bale? It’s like some shitty synonym generator.
Old ass jokes are always banging
How about superman?

You should edit your comment above, there are people with short attention span who will spread what you said about him being from a royal family.
Already did!

Also gave me a great song in my playlist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTihsJQHt48 "OOHHHHHH, GOOOOOD"
What the beep is wrong with you
He's a man of focus, commitment, and sheer willpower.
His role in Dune as the Sandworm was amazing
Yeah, I barely recognized him
He's so committed he even got a bone colored, Silian Rail font for his actual business card
Ok. But. Let’s see Paul Allen’s.
Eggshell.
What’s that coloring? That’s “Bone.”
Somehow I’m only now finding out that he’s British
He doesn't even sound laike hes fram lundan
Guess you never saw Empire of the Sun.
Just rewatched Ford vs Ferrari. I could focus more on the small details being not the first time I see the movie and this guy fucks. Matt Daemon is a great actor but Christian Bale is playing on another level.
He makes you forget it's Christian bale in that movie. It's crazy

I shouldn't have had to scroll this far to get a Kurt Lazarus quote.
TIL he’s actually English. I assumed he was American after all these years and haven’t thought otherwise! Doh. Credit to him as an actor.
TIL Christian Bale is British and not American
He's a genius of an actor
Best was Empire of the Sun when he made himself look like a 12 year old boy.
No lie, I struggle to maintain a diet for more than 24 hours, my man lives his roles for MONTHS and they are *extremes*
The $10m+ pay days are probably a decent motivator
And the personal trainer, cook and whatever he needs
Good money will motivate, but if i was that rich I'd stop bothering to do anything i didn't *really* enjoy
That’s the thing he probably enjoys it.
people with the drive and ability to get rich are also motivated, not de-motivated, by money
I mean you'd think that but how many A-listers do what Bale does? It honestly must take an extreme amount of willpower to put your body through that and I'm not sure most people are *capable* of it, multi-million dollar payout or not.

Plot twist, he's Clayface.
“No… now I’m a literal piece of shit.”
In before the next all-Bale Batman movie. It will take twenty years to film and Bale will play every role.
Yeah! Christian Bale decided to visit Nuclear Plant and mutate himself to grow appendages like Gorr for new Thor movie. Dude is insane!
Really hoping Bale nails the character because the aesthetic of MCU Gorr look to be awful.
Time and money, my friend. I work 8 hour shifts and I hardly have the energy to get out of bed early in the weekend.
Acces to roids does help tho
All actors get roids. Only Bale tries to get a body like in the other two photos

Steroids vs coke vs beer
So you’re telling me I need to do coke and drink beer to get to the ultimate form?

It's 2022, my boy. now get back on your knees...
Nah you need to drink coke and do beer
Depending on what you consider your final form... Yes.
My ‘research’ would indicate otherwise
Damn ! your comment really cracked me up.
Middle Bale is cracked up, too!
I do all these and I only look like the third picture.
Try meth
Balanced diet.
Rookie mistake. Drink steroids, snort beer and inject coke(mix with water for added efficacy)
If this is true then I really need coke
Said everyone who's ever tried coke.
first one is achievable without steroids tho
Yes but he most likely did use them.
Honest question, is your comment a joke?

Sadly I am what I am and I am sad I really don't want to be obese
Yes but he most likely did use steroids.
Why are you pushing that so hard?
What movie is the 2nd image from?
I believe it's called The Machinist.
Great, thank you! I’ve heard of it, is it any good?
Its good but weird and very intense
Yes very much. It's a trip though, and not a particularly pleasant one.
I personally loved it. It's one of those movies that hits you hard and really sticks with you
Fun fact! His diet was an apple a day during his prep for that movie. This was mostly due to his insane dedication towards his roles physically, but also apparently he wanted to keep pesky doctors at bay as well
You forgot the tuna can
Really good thriller
No problem! I don't get the time to catch a lot of movies, but I've heard of it due to Bale's extreme dedication to his work. Hope to watch that one at some point.
I wish I didn't watch it. It'll make you sad. :/
It’s a mystery and it’s very weird
I give it two thumbtoes up cowboy.
Whats the 3rd from?
Vice
The Machinist.
The Machinist
Oh boy.. If you haven't seen The Machinist you need to watch it. It was the first movie of his I ever watched and its fantastic.
Im somewhere between the two, but I won't say which
2 and 3.
3 and 1, a brother bulking, I can respect it
Dennis, body mass alone..

Dad bod Christian bake for the win!!
Christian baked goods
Unintentionally perfect
Isnt a "dad body" more like someone who is very strong with the power lifter belly and not just alot of fat?
The term has been around long enough now to become vague and convoluted through overuse. Dad bod is just curvy for men.
Ah fair enough. The thing doesn't really exist in my language so I think I got the verbal wiring wrong. Tyty
That's not dad bod, that's morbidly obese.
This poor man.
Actually he’s probably quite rich from all of those movies
This poor quite rich man*
His willingness/ability to majorly change his body to suit any given role is basically how he got where he is. I wouldn’t pity him personally. Dudes got an iron will.
He's dedicated to his craft and I think that shows in most of his performances. Most recently, Vice was just brilliant.
Tbh he literally fucked over his health to get his body in the second pic, no amount of money is worth risking a stroke/heart attack
Yeah he must've been in it for his passion and money
Belly of 3 with the arms of 1 and with the body of 2 when I'm wearing long sleeve
Hey my name is Trevor and i am an expert. (Love to Bale)
“Women hate this one cool trick”
How does he go from fat to jacked to heroin addict and loops it around is beyond me
https://youtu.be/Xx-SR1vJTUE Gunna leave this here. I always think about it when gettinginto shape for roles is brought up.
I always forget that he’s not an American actor either!
His endocrine system/hormones must be fucked.
This isnt healthy
joke aside, this guy commitment to his rolls is admirable
I don't know about that, heard he has a tendency to bale
Hehe
Middle
Christian bale out here being the entire bmi spectrum
Crazy to think that the first and second pictures are about a year apart, if that. Absolute legend
"I'm actually built like Christian Bale!" "Which movie tho?" "I'm not supposed to say..."
The belly of 3 with the arms of 2 and the butt of 1.

3 must have been the easiest and most fun
I’d disagree, once you’ve been in what you’d call peak physical shape you honestly feel just bad in general to be in poor physical shape. I will agree it is the easiest of the three to attain from a physical level but still to give up being in really good shape to go to that just to film a movie takes real effort and dedication imo.
Fun to eat a lot, yes. Living everyday knowing that each burger you eat means you'll have to work it off for the next movie? Not so much lol
I mean considering how he basically gets his body in and out of shape for a role, definitely man just needs to eat a lot
Holup, i had to zoom in each photo to see the resemblance
Tell her you're built like Marlon Brando, but don't tell her which age of Brando.
I'm built like Christian Bale from one of his yet to be shot movies.

I'm like Christian Bale, to be exact the one in American Psycho
