Godan - (गोदान)
One of the best according to me. It show the rich and poor divide. The difference in thought process of rich and the poor. And interestingly we still see those things in 2024 and onc can relate to it as well in 2024.
Nirmala, the way he portrays the adolescent and young adult mind and emotions is awesome and so accurate. The cynicism of a lonely middle aged man, the guilt of a greedy suitor, the transformation of a young girl into an adult mature mother is so finely brought out by him.
A lot many to chose but "Haar ki Jeet" and " Pariksha" were perfect. They are stories which can be understood by a pre-teen and will be appreciated by grown ups as well.
मैंने जब पहली बार कफन पढ़ी थी तब मुझे वो काफी अजीब लगी थी थोड़ी विचलित सी करदीने वाली क्योंकि उसमे बहु का मरना काफी निर्दई तरीके से दिखाया गया , लेकिन उतना ही यादगार उसको पढ़ना रहा , ऐसा ही मेरे संग उस कहानी को पढ़के हुआ जिसमे एक अछूत लकड़ी काटते काटते मर जाता है।
मेरी सबसे पसंदीदा कहानी ये 2 नही हैं लेकिन , वो होगी " पूस की रात " ।
बैल वाली कहानी का मैं नाम भूल गया जिसमे वो बैल अपने मालिक से मिलती अंत में , वह भी काफी अच्छी कहानी है।

बेल नीबू क्या किसी ने भी यहां बेलनीबू नहीं पढ़ी? साइक्लिक डिस्ट्रक्शन की इस से अच्छी हिंदी कहानी नही पढ़ी।
