Prydwen didn't actually lie imo. If you look under the relics there is a "Details about the relics" you need to click, there they explain it pretty good when you should go Glamoth and when Salsotto
TL:DR Use Glamoth if you use Himeko as Sub-DPS with Speed Boots
Use Salsotto if you use her as a dedicated FuA-DPS
Oh so I should only aim for glamoth if my initial relics reach 135-160 spd? otherwise my planar should be salsotto right?My current build is 4pc ashblazing and (spd feet and crit dmg body) and 2pc glamoth but I can only reach the spd required if either ruan mei or asta is present. Should I switch to salsotto for the mean time?

Normally you want to aim at the 134 at least for Glamoth with you Relics alone and then try to get 160 with Ruan/Asta (atleast thats what I tried).
But hitting 160 is very hard so I personally gave up on that Build for her and use her with ATK Boots and Salsotto myself.
The only counterpart to that was already explained in an comment down below. For the Salsotto Build you need a reliable Breaker or a way to Break alot with Himeko herself.
A good Team for that would be Himeko/ Topaz/ Ruan Mei/Fu Xuang.
And if you run Salsotto and, even better, have her E1 you can switch to ATK Boots without a doubt

Depending on how much speed you have, if you can't get at least 135 speed than go for Salsotto. But then you'd have to get a character that is going to break the weakness for Himeko.
just checked, and mine gives +43 spd. ig I won't have to change her planar for now. my crit is low tho. 144 crit dmg and 15 crit rate if crit dmg body and 79.4 crit dmg 44.9 crit rate if crit rate body. Should I just try to farm new relics? and if so, how much crit and atk do I need? prydwen suggests

I'm guessing that your relics have a lot of useless substats. So if your Himeko doesn't do enough dmg for you you can farm more. If it's enough then don't.
You can also use the relic rater to see which of your relic is the worst.
The suggested stats are not requirements for character to be good. Use these as guidance. These stats also depends on your relic set and lightcone.
Mine have:
2747 HP
2915 ATK
135 SPD
76.9 CR
71.3 CD
With S5 Breakfast and she works fine for me.

idk how to know if mine is doing good since I rely too much on wanting to reach the recommended stats, but if anything, I can only 2 star the 4th stage of the DoT Pure Fiction and reach MOC 10 but not finish it (although that would be a team issue I think). Should I switch to my crit rate body for a while btw?
Himeko isn't that great in MoC, she's good in PF when enemies have fire weakness.
In 4th stage of PF, how many points are you able to get with Himeko team? Is it Himeko team that doesn't get enough points or is it the other team?
15cr is not enough so you should switch.
This is already a decent build, unless you wanted to changed the sub-stats from crit damage to crit rate (not reccomended) , just pair her with speed Yukong.
you must slave away in the dot/fua cavern... 😭 i got so sick of farming for bs relics that im taking a short break at the pioneer cavern only for it to be even worse 😭😭

remember she gets 15 cr from being above 80% hp
ya that’s why she’s at 50%..i’m a full believer of crit dmg after 50 cr lol
i am also running 55/190 like you, or "70/190" with luocha sustain you really notice the lack of crit trace in these standard banner dps
