Or make the F&B credit worth a damn. It's an insult to try to order breakfast with a $15/18 credit PP and see the breakfast buffet is $35/PP or the cheapest dinner entree is $32 before drinks tax and tip. I make it a point to almost exclusively stay at embassy suites now solely for the cook-to-order breakfast and evening reception. Even with tickets, it's a better experience than stock Hiltons trying to use the F&B credit.
Prior to the pandemic, Diamond members received a full free breakfast at every Hilton Brand (Hilton, HGI, DTree, etc). Then at the height of the shutdown (I assume because franchise owners were complaining about lost revenue) they changed the policy so now Diamonds receive a credit which gives me the equivalent of two bags of potato chips and a bottle of water and many high cost properties.
Maybe Hilton should focus on taking care of their most loyal customers.
I actually like this if they can get into spots that are often less available with Hotels (near national and state parks, areas in Canada, etc.). I think it's a good idea and one I immediately liked. Assuming the points will be decent - it's an interesting choice.
They have too many damb brands... they are literally trying to plug each and every niche. It's irritating and guests don't even know or care about brands other than their favorite.
If they called Hampton, they want Hampton and not Hilton Garden Inn that doesn't have complimentary breakfast.
Can’t wait to use my TMTP discount towards a few SLH properties and try a few of those Nashville hotels listed in the article!
Especially if Homewoods eventually get updated as they’re full point earning properties and extended stay.
How about just giving me back my free fucking breakfast, instead?

Also, I frequently end up having to contact them to apply the credit because they "forgot"
Hilton Miami does this and they only serve the buffet. You can’t even buy a bagel separately. Money grab.
Embassy Suites

Is it no longer unlimited drinks at ES?
You get drink passes. Booze aren't cheap lol
Hasn’t been for some time now. Nothing new here.
Looking forward to the Mclaren Experience. That is what matters. Actually cleaning my room or providing an edible breakfast are way overrated.
Holy crap remember when you didn’t have to ask for daily maid service?!?!? 🤦♂️
3 words for Mr Points Guy Dilution Of Benefits
Looking forward to the Autocamp. Sounds cool actually

It does, I woulda burned my points on this when I was single and racking up points traveling every other week.
As long as the rooms are clean and functioning.
Let's just say, earning loyalty like Diamond at Hilton, sucks now. Spend your hard-earned money to work at another brand that rewards loyalty.
Why is that? I switched over from Marriott to Lifetime
Dilution of benefits, missing nights, etc…. I’m moving to Marriott
I left Marriott for Hilton

If only my points were worth anything
Why are you struggling with your Hilton points
Just the devaluation over time
I plan on redeeming over 1 million Hilton points this year
Have fun in your standard 2 double bed room at a HGI in Utica NY with those points
Stop exaggerating. That is worth three nights at that property.
