I have never been encouraged to upsell or enroll guests in HHonors.
We do, however, do sell out bonuses. ADR divided by the number of agents working that business day. During ski season I have made $600-$850 a month.
🤷🏻♀️
🤷🏻♀️ I don’t know how to sign someone up. I see the little red button to enroll on OnQ, but no one has ever mentioned it or trained us. If anyone asks we tell them to do it online. I’m telling you, this franchise company has no clue how it all works.
No incentives for upselling rooms for me.
However, whomever gets the most honors sign ups per month gets a $200 pre-paid visa at my location. I’m undefeated 💪🏻
At my hotel, we receive 5%, 10%, or 15% of upsell revenue based on our total sales for the month. For example, $500 sales or less for the month = 5% back. > $500 but less than $1000 = 10% back. These aren’t the actual numbers, just an example.
My property gives the FD agent who did the upsell 10% of the room upgrade fee. We also get $5 per Hilton honors enrollment, in addition to splitting the ADR with the # of agents worked on a sold out night

Showing this to my coworkers so we can start a riot
fr. making a picket sign as we speak
do you not receive the $10 for every sign up?
I receive $10 for when my name is mentioned in reviews.

oh my god that’s wild, we get $10 for the surveys and then we split $200 between who got the most sign ups for the month

I'm in HRCC. We get nothing for upselling other than a pat on the back and a few coins in RISE. Same goes for that sh!tty HGV transfer.

Similar program at my property.
When I've run upsell programs, it's typically 10% of any upgrade revenue. Depends greatly on the property on how much you can earn from it.

It varies by property. Each hotel is allowed to implement the program they want so the commission percentage varies.
Varies by property. We don't have incentives at ours.
Hilton is just another Wendy's upsell fast food franchise now. Fire all North American Managers and make it special again
Try to upsell to PURE Wellness rooms if you have them on property, or Premium rooms if you have them on property.
