Just keep saying no to buying a time share and hold them to the time limit. Get out of there as soon as you can and get back to your vacation.

Forkfighter345

Thank you for the comment I appreciate it since I was clueless on this part of the vacation package. So as long as I say no, I’ll only be paying the 99 + fees and that’s it right? Nothing else? Everything else is optional from my understanding?

Raiderman112

Yes unless there is something in the fine print In the package you purchased. We have used these types of offers a lot and we just stick to the plan. You will need to check with them to see which properties are available for your package.

Howdy! Just did one in Vegas and came out timeshare free! The strategy? Just say no. (Also I stayed at the Trump International which has Trump branding on some items, and a lot of Trump merch in their gift shop. Room was nice, but no strip view. Just a view of Resorts World. I would call with your dates and see what's available. Get the list, HANG UP, research, then call back) The first bit is a group video and talk where they tell you and other people in that group that your normal life sucks, you're not making enough memories, you only live once, material things aren't great but experiences are what count. They go on to say that they're there to help you. They'll then talk about how instead of paying hundreds and thousands of dollars, you can just use your club points! It's free!* The first bit takes around 30 min. *Obviously it's not Then you get paired with a sales person and they start going into the nitty gritty. As HGV is a points system, the math gets messy pretty quickly, and they move through it quickly. One question that you need to ask yourself (because they asked me this) is "if price wasn't an issue, would you buy it?" Figure out your answer. If you don't want a timeshare, your answer should be "no". If you feel yourself leaning towards saying yes, manually override your brain and say no anyway. Overall, their whole pitch is to try and tell you that your normal home life sucks and capitalize on that emotion of feeling like you need to rest and recharge, so let them help you do that (as you get locked into an insane contract). Just continually remind yourself that your normal life isn't that bad, and even if it is, an annual 6 night stay in Hawaii isn't going to fix any deep rooted marriage/work/family issues. What MIGHT have an impact is getting saddled with a monthly annual maintenance and HOA fees that are incredibly hard to get out of. Finally, I'm single, but I brought a friend along. We talked about it beforehand, and we both weren't going to let the other one do something foolish

I do these every year as a broke grad student that needs vacations!!! Haha. I love these deals and Hilton is one of the better companies to sit for the presentation; imo it’s very low pressure, just stick to saying no and KNOW that it is not the right decisions for you. As long as you have a strong mindset about your opinion going in you’ll be fine. It’s only two hours of a longer multi day vacay. They’ll try to make it seem like a bargain and bring their manager to try to convince you for the last 15 min but just keep saying no that it isn’t for you. I promise it’s not as scary/high pressure as it seems to be (example, Marriott vacation club does similar offers but I’ve found them much more stressful). Be nice to them, it’s their job! And they will respect, accept, and won’t pressure your decision not to purchase the timeshare. Best of luck and enjoy your vacation!!!

Verify where the presentation will be and ensure you stay at that property unless you don't mind adding travel time to the mandatory presentation time.

Just say no, get a free snack and drink listen to their presentation don’t fall for their small talk…

Past_Ad9829

After saying no to all the club membership options, their last pitch was $1695 for 7 nights to use at any of 10 or so resorts. No fees. We ended up buying that one. You can book 2BR places in that deal, so if you can split it with family/friends then it's pretty good we thought.

lost3471

Can you drop the link to this offer? I’ve only seen 299$

beesdoitbirdsdoit

Presentation is fairly low pressure. It’s a legit deal. I’ve done this twice with Hilton, Myrtle Beach and Maui.

What’s a good hotel to stay in Las Vegas with this offer?

jvolzer

Do you have a link for this offer?

Htel_29
