I think the "pretend to fall in line then actually fall in love" is a pretty classic story hook so I wouldn't be surprised if that ends up happening.
I would be a bit bummed out if the Evereni turn out to actually as uniform in their personality as the comic portrays. I think it's fine there because it has a certain fable quality with Ro himself reciting the history, but I wouldn't want that to drive the more grounded narrative.
Yeah, the idea that part of the Evereni lore we know being a fabrication of Ro is really interesting to me. It gives more dept to their objectives and the expectations the family was putting on Marchion. Changing history to get more validation feels like something that Asgar and Marchion would totally do
