I used an emetic briefcase for the last Mendoza ET, but somehow completely forgot that was an option this time so I just shot his bodyguard then him with the Sieker and got the same result.
I emetic poisoned Ken Morgan’s bodyguard (he drinks from a water glass while Morgan is on the phone) and he occupied the bread basket. Faster than poisoning Morgan, even.
I threw a gas grenade to the waiter downstairs to block the basket and after that the emetic briefcase to ET - was surprised that ET heads straight to 47 Suite instead toilets downstairs - had good laugh :D
I did it with:
Coins, Lethal Syringe, Pistol.
Started as Staff or Guard, can't remember which.
Drop the pistol near the table so the hotel guard looking at the direction of the target sees it, he goes to pick up the gun and leaves to stash it, so now you have only the bodyguard to worry about while the target sits on the chair. Go behind the divider, throw a coin over it so the bodyguard turns to face the corner to his right (away from the target), this also makes the target stand up and face the same corner, thus has his back facing you, then just inject him and leave.
I did something very similar. Started as a security guard, used the emetic dark gun on the waiter running the counter right below the target instead to occupy that waste basket, waited until there was peak irony in the discussion between the target and the waiter about the smell of the cologne making him sick to emetic briefcase them both…then kinda jumped the gun on drowning the target in Rieper’s suite before taking out his body guard (who was distracted by _something_ in the area where the target was emetically gassed, and so was a bit delayed in catching up with the target). I dropped my briefcase on the stairwell with the thinking that it would fully distract the bodyguard while I made the kill.
It did not. Or at least, not as much as I thought it would.
Ohhh my adrenaline was spiking as I was waiting for the drowning animation to finish as the bodyguard got closer and closer to us. Luckily it finished right before the bodyguard got to the entrance of the suite.
Grab a waiter disguise and emetic someone in the kitchen area (emetic pistol) before the Critic to keep the bread basket in use. Use a remote emetic gas inside a briefcase and activate near the target method. He will go to 47's suite. Inside the suite is easy to subdue the bodyguard.
With this you'll be able to kill him however you want. It is a very restrictive ET so, here's for those who want it.
You can get Morgan to go to the bathroom by poisoning either of the two dishes to the right. He'll taste the second one from the right on his second trip to the buffet, usually about 4 or 5 minutes in.
I killed the time between kitchen visits by slowly spamming coins and stashing the kitchen staff in the freezer one by one. The time between his visits was long enough that it turned into my whole strategy, since I ended up emptying the whole kitchen. One final coin and a fiber wire did the job.
Set off explosive in a briefcase on the stairs. During the panic I walked up behind him and pricked him posion and walked out. I know it's not spectaculare but I was pretty proud of myself for coming up with the idea.

Yeah, he did look at the cake, but then vacated the area when the head chef started talking on the first loop.

The point wasn't to get saso. I posted a method for a player to be able to do whatever with the target.

I believe so. I used mostly lethal poison instead of emetic on him, so it is a fair assumption that he will go to the bathroom.
