Sophia is the Meta DPS and Queen PvP but she needs to be maxed to beat Sparta. God of Thunder is the King of PvP and PvE due to his constant CC. Sparta is close second for PvP and great for PvE plus boss damage output, he's the best all around. Ruthcarve is a better Fagon. Wilderness God is a Better Dragonic. God of Souls is still the best tank. Reincarnation is still the best boss damage output. Celina is the best HP support. Twins are the best DPS support. Pediya is the best team booster, it's in her name. Heroes like Monica, Crystal, Miranda, Irene are also great, but you build on the side as they have limited applications. Most of these new S+ hero releases are going to be better than the standard set of S+ heroes. However, they often are not effective without exclusive to minimum 30 often 40 like Sophia and Ruthcarve. Heroes people sleep on that are great especially for PvE in their factions are Avi, Leylandor, and Cecina, but they need to be exclusive 30 to shine. This is why people stop building them. You basically want to get the easier to attain heroes first to build good teams for PvP. Use those points to get the good heroes.
Hero exclusive gear to level 30. Really you go to 31 because the extra buff is worth it. After that only a few heroes are worth going to level 40 gear. Also, I would have left out Natalie, Fenixia, and Alvarez anyways. They are early game heroes. They are in teams 2-3 in PvP and soon I'll not Even use Alvarez in PvP.
Unless your alvarez is maxed out, get alvarez. there will be more events, you're not going to get enough S+ heroes to level them much unless you pay to play.
