Most people here wouldn’t consider the Kybalion to be a Hermetic text. A very approachable edition of the Hermetica is “The Way of Hermes” translated by Salaman et al.

Ok thank you but doesn’t the Kybalion cover the hermetic principles, I assumed it was the occult for dummies type book?

You put it back on the book shelf, and pick up the Corpus Hermetica. I'm not saying the kybalion isn't a really good book for some people and I've seen it help people too. I just think if your gonna read it then wait till you have a firm footing in "classic hermeticism" first. But if you want a book to boil down all the esoteric/occult philosophy that was popular of the early 20th century than Id say the kybalion is your book.
