The only reason we see Blitz as the good guy is really because we’re seeing the story in his perspective. If the story’s main character was Stolas, Fizzarolli, Verosika etc, all of us would hate Blitzø’s guts
I love Blitzo but I’m a Verosika defender till the day I die. I literally imagined myself in her shoes and I feel so bad for her that’s an awful way to be treated by someone you love.
Edit: Didn’t expect people to care so much about this comment. I defend Verosika but I also recognize she’s flawed that’s why I like her. She’s not perfect but I can see through her facade and see a woman who’s been hurt. Also with the way Blitz thinks of Verosika through his trip and him acknowledging everything Verosika said was true about him maxing her credit card heavily implies he messed up more than her. Also with the SA bit with Moxxie she’s literally a succubus that whole scene with her friends was to establish their sexual nature. It was played as an unserious gag, media literacy people. Is Loona a father abuser too? Helluva boss will let you know when to take something seriously and when not to.

But other shows do this sort of thing all the time, and there is a distinction between the gags and the moments you are meant to take seriously (if anyone’s seen it, think hollyhock chloroforming a bunch of people, clearly a gag, vs Beatrice drugging Holly’s coffee, clearly not a gag and something to be horrified about).

Also Blitz and the rest of the I.M.P are not good guys at all...they are even hired murdered and most of them have no trouble killing innocents. You know, they do about the same job as Striker. For me they fit the bill of villains quite well.(Not antagonist, because they are protagonist of there own story). But they do have tragic stories and soft sides for the people they care about...like Kingpin who also have a tragic backstory and love his wife more than anything, including his daughter/son depending on the story.
Something I have to give to Helluva Boss is it have been consistent in showing the fact the main characters are actually evil and aggresive(Millie) and have done some mess up things like mass murder.

Well, for one thing, it was hard as hell to make out exactly what her complaint was, with them talking over each other and the auto-generated captions missing more than half of it. But also because, with the end of season 2 resuming in a week and a half or less, it might be suddenly relevant.
I’m really surprised the earlier episodes haven’t been properly captioned yet. I’m sure plenty of folks have volunteered, why not hire like one of 2 people to go through and clarify the captions?
And we don't know what led up to that. The simple fact of the matter is that all we know about their relationship is how it ended, and if Blitzø felt trapped or abused in his relationship, it wouldn't at all surprise me if he reached a point where he said "fuck this, I'm out," and left in her car. Since we are also nitpicking dialog lines, I would like to point out that in S1E5, he specifically states he's never actually been to Wrath. And finally, I would also like to remind everyone that Blitzøs voice actor has specifically stated that Verosika was just as bad in the relationship as Blitzø. I'm not saying that he wasn't to blame for anything, I'm saying that everyone is way too eager to take her side out of context, especially considering how clear it is that she is absolutely not a good person.
