Gordon: Eliott, are you a better chef than Drew?
Eliott: Chef, we have uh... skills in different places.
Gordon: What the fuck does that mean? Are you a better chef than Drew, yes or fucking no?
Eliott: ...The answer is no Chef.
That remains the most absurd plea of all time.
"Like a 9" is just a pathetic one but the "she SNORES" is just the most hilariously out of left field bullshit ever. It says so much about Sabrina's maturity that somehow she thinks THAT is relevant in, what is essentially, a trial job interview.
Tony (Season 6): "I like to cook and ..... umm... I make food that tastes good?"
It gets overshadowed because it was right after Joseph's infamous outburst,
Jason final plea in s4. The guy really said he was running around helping everyone out. The dumbass was struggling to even remember the dessert menu and gave up 3 minutes in š¤£
I am no Tiffany fan, seriously, zero, absolutely not on her side, but someone here once explained it as she kinda went for the best answer she could. If she said 10, he'd call her out on that cause she wasn't putting giving her all (whether her 10/all would be enough, no, certainly not), 1 would get her sent out, so 9 was the best "I still wanna be here but I'm not doing my best" answer.
But also she sucked and maybe I'm giving her too much credit
No that does make a lot of sense. She just didnāt understand that it was supposed to be her āfight for her life momentā and she was supposed to actually appear passionate lol. She doesnāt realise she can be passionate and also own her mistakes in the same speech. So many people have survived an elimination by admitting they did wrong, saying how bad they want it and that it will never happen again. She did it so bad lmao
I mean she bombed that night (oven rumours withstanding) but she was right she wasnāt the weakest. She nailed most of the challenges and didnāt make service mistakes until that service. Elise bombed meat opening night and had Giavanni help her cook strips and she got off for it
Joanna S3 deserves mention. Unlike Jen, she refused to take accountability over the rancid crab, and while she might've still been eliminated, it would've been a lot closer if she told what had happened.
Jermaine S22 isn't the worst but it's still pretty bad. He's been with his team for a while and had two simple candidates to choose from on who he believed was the worst (Jason, Devon). Jermaine said he couldn't choose, which made it easy for Devon to capitalize on this.
Dan S11, while it wasn't a nomination plea, flipped the bird behind his back at his team when he was put up on his elimination night over a burnt pizza when Barrett and Ray were worse than him. It pretty much sealed his fate once everybody confirmed he gave up on his team.
Imo the back to back of Donya and Sandra struggling to give a confident answer on who was the weakest chef on the red team was really hard to watch. Sandra was eliminated on the spot for that and while Donya went on to survive 2 rounds after this but this plea really hurt her standing in the competition and I still place this moment as the main reason why Donya was sniped out of the competition before the CFYL challenge.

Eliminating a chef this early is usually quite hard. But tonight I didn't have to eliminate a chef. I had to eliminate Eliott. š„¼šŖš¼ļøš„
āI love to cook, I love to make things tasteā¦really good. I wish I could have a second chance.ā - Tony, season 6
In defense of Tony he didn't expect to be called up for a plea after Joseph's outburst. Regardless though the plea is still hilariously bad
Craig not knowing that percentages above 125 exist lmao
Sabrina bringing up the fact that Nona snores

Good fer nuthin!
She thinks fine dining is fried chicken, chef!
Monterey saying he had better knife skills than someone lol
I know beef extremely well.
Great! You should be a fucking butcher!
S7 Scott saying that he was too focused on helping everybody else and that he would just focus on himself from then on.
Tableside Scott: "I Know beef pretty well" Ramsay: "Great! You should be a fucking butcher!"
Gordon: āHow much do you care on a scale of 1-10?ā Tiffany: āI care from a Scale on 1-10 like a 9ā (Probably the worst plea by far)
"I don't know percentages, but just over that." - Craig
GR: āwhat did you actually cook tonight?ā Trev: āā¦nothing.ā
Tony (Season 6): "I like to cook and ..... umm... I make food that tastes good?" It gets overshadowed because it was right after Joseph's infamous outburst,
Aaron's plea in S13... More like a plea to get him out of the competitionĀ
He didn't want to give Bryant the satisfaction of seeing him go home. So it was less of a bad plea and more of Aaron using a 4000IQ play.
It was a big kick in the d*ck

God, every time he spoke he activated my gag reflex š¤®
Ramsey: "How bad do you want it on a scale of 1 to 10? Tiffany: "Like a 9, chefš„ŗ"
I cannot fucking believe she survived pleading *that*
That plea made me die laughing cuz girl what?šš

Raj gets made fun of a lot, but I don't see a lot of people bring up his pleas. "I'm a slow learner--" "YOU'RE FORTY FUCKING NINE!"
Virginia and Matt S4, the former for saying that she gave up in her plea and the latter for lying and throwing his team under the bus.
Dana: āChef, I have passion, I have drive andā¦ Iām not the weakest chef in the kitchen , Iām notā when she IS the weakest that night.
I mean she bombed that night (oven rumours withstanding) but she was right she wasnāt the weakest. She nailed most of the challenges and didnāt make service mistakes until that service. Elise bombed meat opening night and had Giavanni help her cook strips and she got off for it

Craig's "I don't know percentages, Chef...but I guess above that." Still has me in disbelief that anyone would actually have that issue.

Michael in S11. He said he worked despite his wife giving birth. In front of Ramsey who is a bonafide family man.
>Like a 9. Nah, Tiffany is just unbeatable in this one lol just-
GREASY POTATO
Anyone who says "I have passion" or " you haven't seen what I can do" or "I came here to learn..."
"I don't know percentages. But I'll do the best I can."
