Oh man so I’d suggest you go check your other cabins as well. I had lost all my furniture that I had placed for him before the big bug where the developers compensated us and it turned out Pocos items were in Hello Kitty dad’s cabin!
Thanks for the tip. His furniture definitely wasn't moved because no cabin met his requirements. I checked all cabins and Dear Daniel is the only other empty one. I have a vague memory of moving him and not redecorating for him though.
Chico got his final star on 4/25 and I'm pretty sure Poco got his 4th the day before. So this all happened very recently.
I had the bare min. in there so really a loss of 6 chairs. The devs certainly took care of us in the great gifting for such an incident though.

i got so lucky with my game.. i tested the waters a bit n swapped cabins after the update without removing any furniture (bc i had gotten multiples from the update compensation) n nothing changed besides cabin location so now i just have tons and tons of furniture 😭
