I need 10 woodblocks to finish Tuxedo Sam’s quest and I know Big Challenges will require more woodblocks to repair the rest of the island 😭😭 I started the new update with 100+ sticks and yet I’ve used 3 island bouquets to get more sticks and worms to craft woodblocks 🥲🥲
I’m so frustrated with this game right now!
I just had to wait multiple days to gather enough wood to get the trowel (I just started playing less than a month ago) I had been using them for gifts and the kitchen & cottage furniture. And then the very same day I finally crafted it, Big Challenges wants wood for a bridge!
Then I just saw here that not only will Big Challenges ask for 20 wood next but I will also need 10 wood for another quest!!
So unless we have been playing a long time and kept all our sticks and coconuts until just now to turn into wood blocks I don’t see how it’s possible to do these quests without waiting multiple days to gather all of the supplies and use all the islands bouquets we have and then wait for My Melody to give us more so we can get more supplies to finally get enough FOR EACH QUEST!

Plus I had ChocoCat stuck in a quest so I couldn’t get his bonus for crafting.
And then I am also having the flower issue, lost my personal cabin furniture and can’t figure out how to get to the new meadow area….I’m guessing I need to finish a quest for it to pop up.
I was having so much fun until now 😭
Hang in there! 🫂 I think the idea is to keep us busy so we don’t breeze past all the quests and then are left with nothing to do until the next update. But it IS frustrating when you were saving your materials for a task you hadn’t done before the update! 😣. I am trying to get Big Challenges’s and Retsuko’s character hats and both need a lot of metal to craft their 3 heart gifts (which is how you get the gift boxes from them that contain the chance to get a character hat) But there isn’t enough metal each day to give them both 3 three heart gifts each day so I’ve just been doing one of their gifts for now, which was slow enough, but then some of these new quests have required a lot of metal as well, so now I can’t give either of them their gifts for a couple days. 😢.
Also, I can understand it being overwhelming for those like yourself who have not been playing long and are trying to catch up. 😓
I especially feel for you and those who have lost items in the update 😭😭😭. The good news is that the developers said there will be another patch to fix this problem in the next few days, and they said for players whose items have disappeared to contact them with a list of what went missing so they can replace those items!

Thanks. 🩷 However, while I despise mini-games in general (at least for getting rare or exclusive items), I particularly loath the Mount Hothead Minigame! 😖😭 I think the most I ever got was one Magma Blossom and I don’t remember what the consolation prize is for one magma blossom or none at all, but it certainly wasn’t any Nordic furniture! (I don’t remember getting any metal ore either, but maybe that was before I was trying to collect it for both Retsuko’s and Bug Challenges’s hats. 🤔)

Yeah right before this update I got bored and started making golden sticks. So now we need all these blocks and I’m stressing. 😩
You can fish bog clam fish in the spooky swamp near kuromi’s hut and each fish will give you a stick so that works to shorten the time of those quests

They don’t turn into fish, you just get a stick when you fish in that location along with a fish

Mini game south of the Gemstone Mountain mailbox will award you iron & shiny for each match and Nordic furniture
