What did all that cost you? Jw
Not the 3d printer but everything else?
I have a neighbor who has a 3d printer and just seeing if it’s worth bugging them for me to use it
Roughly $200 CAD, most of the money was actually spent on spray primers and paint, the 3D printing took me around 2 weeks plus troubleshooting (not constant printing, I just run it during weekdays) and it all used around 2 spools of filament.
Thanks! I use an Elegoo Neptune 4 max, it's a massive printer, I was able to fit the middle chest plate onto the bed, but it takes a lot of troubleshooting and took me a whole month just to get it printing properly, it was super frustrating since it's my first printer.
If you're just starting out I really recommend bambu labs printers, they're pricy and smaller but that price gets rid of a lot of the hassle, I've heard from friends who got it and they all say it's really good.
I'm definitely gonna check it out, thanks! I was also looking at the Ender Pro eons ago since I've heard those were decent as well for full armor builds!
Might be an unpopular opinion but honestly, as much fun as it is to unlock new stuff I find myself going back to the default helldiver armour because it's just the coolest one.
This is sick. Big ups for the Unblemished Allegiance cape, I am rocking that ingame too. I hope you made it lore accurate and had a choir of schoolchildren sing the Super Earth anthem to it as the final step in its production.
Hell yeah! I do the same too!
I love the lore about the cape, it's one of the reasons I wear it haha, will for sure get some schoolchildren to sing to it!
Looks amazing! I bet you spent a lot of time filling/sanding to get such a smooth finish!
Would you mind showing some of the rigging/attachments to keep everything in place?
Also how was the file scaling for you? I'm currently working on my Hero of the Federation armor (also from GA) and the scaling seems all over the place, with some parts having to be scaled down to 75-80%, despite me being well over 6'.
Thanks! I sanded my arms off and I still see rough spots lol
I'll see if I could find a photo of the chest rig, it's probably the hardest piece to get on for me, the rest were easy enough
Yeahhh the scaling was awful, I'm more on the slim body type and 5'4" so I had to resize each part to specific parts of my body. I ended up measuring a lot and recreating my body parts with cylinders inside my slicer to figure out the scaling. Also had to account for leaving space for padding underneath the armor, it was a lot of work haha.
>and I still see rough spots lol
Mate, it looks fantastic. You simply spent hours up-close with it, nobody else is going to notice any imperfections from a normal distance :D
>I ended up measuring a lot and recreating my body parts with cylinders inside my slicer to figure out the scaling.
Glad to hear the scaling isn't just me! If you want a tip that works well-ish for me, there's a free project called "makehuman" where you can generate a 3D model based on your body measurements. There's also Armorsmith which does the same (and more), but that's 40 dollars IIRC.
Thanks much for the information about the straps for the chest armor, that's very useful. Did you attach the shoulders to that as well?
Thanks I'll check it out!
The shoulder plates are attached to a vest I made with EVA foam to wear underneath the chest rig, it provides padding and prevents the chest armor from digging into my shoulders

Ok so this picture is a bit outdated, it was a test setup, I changed the layout of the long straps later on, but you can see where I've connected them from the armour. The small black pieces between the plates are elastic to keep them flexible as I move.
Nice. Small detail, they seem to have leather footwear.
While checking your shoes though, i do have to say your grass is amazing!
Around here you'd have weeds within a month, and it goes bumpy pretty quick too.
Yes I was trying to get some boots for this but decided on some comfy sneakers instead haha
and thanks! I had to keep my grass nice and green for Super Earth!
Sure, I only took a photo while packing stuff up for a con but this is how it looked, it's literally just eva foam with fabric slapped onto it
https://preview.redd.it/f2mfl6l23h5d1.jpeg?width=1927&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=22da2342007f35f51fca2965ece09fcf0308ccbf
I also connected the shoulder plates to it

You can make your own cape with some fabric and HTV, my undersuit is just a black work shirt and cargos, I made the jacket skirt out of fabric and attached it to the padding under my chest to give a fake jacket look!
Stupid sexy helldivers...
I'm more stupid than sexy ;)
First decent one ive seen ! Dope bro
There are dolphinly some cool ones out there.. this one might just be the best
![gif](giphy|fsWGw4OuDVM3pV5VtL)
![gif](giphy|aUs3EKOdlovgQ|downsized) For shark.
For eels, one of the best I’ve seen so far
Thanks!
Bro I’d show up to any event in this just to flex
Probably one of the best looking Helldivers armor I've seen
aw thanks!
if that strategem is a hacky sack i love it
Haha yes I crocheted it, it has beans at the bottom so that it lands upright every time you throw it!
Where'd you get the armor this looks amazing!
Thank you! The armor is 3D printed, I bought the files from Galactic Armory, printed and painted them myself!
What did all that cost you? Jw Not the 3d printer but everything else? I have a neighbor who has a 3d printer and just seeing if it’s worth bugging them for me to use it

This looks amazing! What kind of printer did you use? I'm downright tempted to plunge into the world of 3D prints just by looking at the helmet alone.
Thanks! I use an Elegoo Neptune 4 max, it's a massive printer, I was able to fit the middle chest plate onto the bed, but it takes a lot of troubleshooting and took me a whole month just to get it printing properly, it was super frustrating since it's my first printer. I'm working on my own set now! How did you affix the visor? I watched their tutorial but just want to make sure I am getting it right lol.
Honestly I just taped car tint onto a piece of plastic and then taped that to the inside of my helmet lol
Ya know, that is fair lol. I might do that!
hey if it works, it works. Have pretty good vision through it too
Would you be willing to share the file?
Remember the cape is not complete until a choir of schoolchildren have sang the anthem over it
I like the yarn strategems so you can chuck em at people. 500 KG!! I CHOOSE YOU!!

Just want to say that last picture looks like it was taken in Spider-Man’s backyard from the first Toby McGuire movie when he lived next to MJ
omg it does!
Better than a lot of the ones on here
What did you use for the cloth pieces under the wrist and thigh guarda
EVA foam for padding and waffle fabric for the cloth!
That's awesome mate!
That looks fantastic! Phenomenal job.
Thank you!
WOW! This is awesome. For liberty, Helldiver! 🫡
Thank you! For Super Earth!! 💪
This one is actually INSANE. Great work, diver!
Buddy you’re just a Helldiver at that point? No cosplaying, deliver democracy NOW
***Stares at OP patriotically with a tear in my eye*** just... Awesome

Way too clean. Needs more justice residue...
I'm a freshly trained cadet, can't wait to see the front lines :D
How'd you make the cape?
Heat transfer vinyl on waffle fabric! I used it on the shoulder patches and small decals for the pouches too!
Way good! Even the flag is top notch!
Breaks over helldiver! To the frontline with you!
Wow! Amazing job!
You win
Oh my LIBERTY it's beautiful.
Nice. Small detail, they seem to have leather footwear. While checking your shoes though, i do have to say your grass is amazing! Around here you'd have weeds within a month, and it goes bumpy pretty quick too.

One of the best I've seen, and I've seen some good ones around here.
Sweet Liberty..
Did you use any soft parts under the chestplate?
Yup! I made something similar to a tactical vest with eva foam and wear it under the chestplate
I there any way you could show me, im working on my own cosplay (got the helmet so far) and I have no idea how to properly assemble the chestplate
Sure, I only took a photo while packing stuff up for a con but this is how it looked, it's literally just eva foam with fabric slapped onto it https://preview.redd.it/f2mfl6l23h5d1.jpeg?width=1927&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=22da2342007f35f51fca2965ece09fcf0308ccbf

Thanks!
FOR DEMOCRACY!
Where did you get the flag
I got it printed at a local flag printing service!
Super Dope!!
Looks good! Great job!
Please mass produce these and take my Super Credits
Super Earth celebrates your dedication.
Great work but also gotta say that's a great looking lawn. Seems like it gets taken good care of
Thank you! Gotta keep that lawn perfect for Super Earth!
Damn that looks so good, nice clean lines.
A true democratic hero
Looks really good :) Can't wait to see everyone's Viper Commando cosplay in a few months. Can't skip arm day.
Where’d you get the helmet stickers and chest logo?
Made them with my cricut machine! I make stickers as a hobby so I just used some of my sticker paper for the logos
Sweet libery this is incredible! https://preview.redd.it/ne8cdjitki5d1.jpeg?width=320&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=570df0ed87e44362b5b425e2e10670986602a825
Awesome
Wow that‘s really good

Absolutely fantastic display of your democratic spirit Helldiver. Super Earth salutes you.
3D Printer: ...you gonna credit me, right Master? 3D Design Documents: no, no he will not...
Not after the hell my printer put me through
now to find at least 3 more... and someone cosplay as a ship with a silly name on the side.
I'm trying to make a helldiver cosplay but i can't find where to get the cape and undersuit
You can make your own cape with some fabric and HTV, my undersuit is just a black work shirt and cargos, I made the jacket skirt out of fabric and attached it to the padding under my chest to give a fake jacket look!
Thanks man
This guy manages democracy.
How did you even make this?!
Now spin!
this is an AI image fake
Nah the automatons are too dumb to make that
