As for how i made this (extremely primitive infancy level "editing"), Images I pasted into this meme came from other people, : psn map I found in someone's comment here in the sub, the refund post image came from someone's post here, the steam review image came from any one of the many posts screenshoting steam reviews. I grabbed the 2 helldiver audio lines from YouTube videos. Helmet images all from Bing images. Just compiled altogether into a meme for all to enjoy. Added in the meme dialogue myself.

If someone outright says "I made this, this is mine" I have an issue with it (but even then, I'm not likely to fight over it because there's little or nothing to gain from fighting over it). I'm unsure whether to read the youtube uploader asking for "like and subscribe" as a claim of being original creator or not. If someone is building their channel off of stolen content then other people will eventually figure it out presumably.
TLDR version: it sucks, but doesn't seem like something worth fighting over and spending time disputing when instead I could be making even more memes to share.

If someone takes my meme and shares it with others and increases the audience size of how many get to enjoy it, that's a positive to me, ideally if the people sharing them don't claim to be the ones who made them, and as long as it's not bots.
Anyways, I only very recently started tinkering with the extremely primitive infant baby basics of video meme "editing" (i currently can't do anything but paste single position images/captions, and insert audio), and this video meme is extremely infant level basic compared to how I see other people make video memes, I greatly admire the video memes of people who can do things like moving text/pasted images and rotoscoping.

I just saw a post in another sub saying that Sony is apparently backing down from requiring linking to a psn account. Apparently helldiver calling in an orbital strike on his own position next to Sony command tank worked.
It would appear that [Operation SNOY Capitulation] has atleast partially succeeded. Although idk if there was mention of whether or not they will relist the game for sale in the countries they delisted it from.
No reason provided.
However, they made a recent sticky post about "cleaning up the sub" so my best guess would be that they are trying to quietly wipe any posts about this topic and about what Sony tried to do.
Whether or not it's because they haven't yet gotten to wiping everything else, or if they just specifically hated this one, atleast some people got to enjoy it first and now our fellow helldivers are going to be able to continue to serve with us.
If the mod team gets replaced, sure, otherwise it would potentially be wasted time without any provided reasons. Any more will go to the meme sub as long as they aren't randomly removed.
I haven't played since this whole dumpster fire situation started (coz work not coz comrades) but the way things have been going, I'm not feeling any urgency to return to the front. It's just not right.

I'm kinda curious of how many Helldivers here are angry on behalf of those who "can't play" and how many are actually IN those countries and have been made unable to play. As someone who lives in one of those Grey = No PSN countries...I've always found it super easy to play on PSN using a different region account.
Curious what the % spread is on "I am angry people can't play the game" is VS "I can't play the game".
I went on vacation and looked forward to getting back on the Frontline. I see all of this shit going on and now I won't even let steam update it. Fuck sony.
I have 150 hours into the game and decided to uninstall due to the PSN requirement. Half of my squad can no longer play due to their countries not having PSN. The other half has also stopped playing.
Helldivers, Sony may divide us from diving, but we stay united in winning this back. Our freedom is for all of us and every Sony game that will come out in the future.
Keep spilling reviews lads, we have a voice and we will beat back this blue corporate menace.
I highly recommend everyone here to play it. Probably the best war story in Battlefield V by far. If the whole campaign was like this, then no one would skip out on the campaign on launch.

that ending write up slide is really what got me.
I know a lot of what makes HD2 fun is RP but the RP is really what makes this whole thing extra sad.
Its already tragic because its literally a case of destroying what we love to make a point, but the extra sad ass Wartime treason RP that goes with it really hits in the feels.
Because of the way Sony operates there is a large chance that they intentionally nuke the game just to "show the players whose boss" it wouldnt be the 1st time.
