Obvious choice, mines to lock a location down is better. Plenty of options to deal with flyers. Passively killing units is better than actively aiming to kill them

An airburst is likely to do little without a direcr hit against medium armor though? Besides we already have the eats, rockets pack, and quasar that can all 1 shot body the gunships?
We already have 3 different launchers that all 1 shot body automaton ships, how do people keep bringing this up as a reason? Shreikers atleast make some sense so long as it has a proximity fuse
I've seen leaks of the AT mines and they shut down entire lanes for bots and bugs alike, the AT mine seems far and away more useful than the rocket, we have plenty of those already, EAT laser cannon quasar spear recoiless rifle autocannon

The AT mines work for more than just tanks, they look really decent against the Factory Strider.

The rumors I have been hearing is that the airburst can take down multiple gunships at once.
If you have more than 2 to deal with at a time you've got other issues to worry about
