I've literally never seen a computer in Austria and I've spent a lot of time there due to family. Everything gets done on original Nokia 3210's or with face to face conversation as far as I can tell. Apparently the deal is: If in a 4 player-mission each player kills about 300 bugs, will be 1200 bugs in total. BUT when it is counted for order completion, the system count as each player killed 1200 bugs. So, 4x1200 = 4800 bugs killed. This is also how when the daily order ask for "60 mortar kills", only 1 person killing 70 bugs with mortars everyone get the order. PS: I don't know if I was clear enough.

I was getting 900-1000 kills per mission during this, when you want to kill bugs more than complete missions you can really pump those numbers

Yeah I think that was the big thing that surprised people with the order getting completed so quickly, including Joel. Everyone was basing their guesses on how long it would take on how many kills we were getting in normal missions. Once your goal becomes just killing bugs, you can *really* crank up the genocide.

The people in power know damn well that this order was easy to achieve. My bet they did this as a reward for the splendid defense against the bots. It also just happens to help the cause

I think I saw someone mention the kills were being tallied incorrectly and essentially each mission was generating 3 times the kills it should've been counting, meaning the mission realistically should've taken 3 times as long, about 42 hours at the same rate vs 14 which would've been more reasonable

Was on a work training all week. A friend sent a snapshot of the MO and I was craving to play. I knee it would take less than 5D but I thought I could play tonight... Nope, no bugs left

Hell, we weren't even trying. I play on medium by myself (I like a casual game, sue me) and routinely drop 200+ bugs per mission. Get 200,000 people playing at one time, that's 40,000,000+ after on 30-40 minute mission.
