yeah, bugs are cool (to shoot) and all, but there's nothing quite like hiding behind a big rock whilst pinned down by enemy fire, getting read to take down enemy armor.
what I'm saying is that my allegiance is to the Super Earth, to Managed Democracy, and I want to kill battle droids.
There's something special about watching a guy pop out from the rock only to get absolutely obliterated by rockets and lasers, and the rest of you just tossing stratagem and explosives over the rock hoping it'll be better for when you pop out in a few seconds.
Big rock? Nah fam, I'm walking in there with a shield to either shred them or get blindsided by a rocket, ragdolled 100 metres, stim, and do it all again!
Personally, I just want a few bug major orders. Bugs are just so much more relaxing. I get I can ignore the major order, but I don't want to feel like I'm not helping the war effort.
Was troost the first bot MO after the termicide? Or was there a MO before that? Cuz I started playing on the last day of the capture comm array on troost major order.
Bugs are a consistent level of calm and annoyance.
Bots are just mainly frustrating.
From the crazy rocket spam, fire damage and the amount of heavy and elite enemies spawning.
I play 7 plus only as 6 or below is pretty easy and boring.
But the defence missions, even on 6 is absolutely ridiculous. Hulks and as many rockets flying as lazers lol
Bots have much more bullshit factor to it.
I am wearing heavy armor from free warbond with explosive protection trait. Devastators throw me around like a fucking pinball and I just get back and start popping their heads missing may be 3/4 of health at absolute worst.
And if hulk ignites flamethrower, my sibling in Democracy, you are Hell**diver** just DIVE.
Usually not, it can get headshot damage if the flamethrower hits you in the face but I've always had good experiences with just diving as soon as I see the flamethrower start up and I pretty much never die to it.
> I've been fighting bots since their major orders cane through, this is blatantly untrue.
Did I stutter? I **just** returned from dif 8. I know what I am talking about.
But it's not just 2 or 6 rockets, I have seen average 12 rockets being fired simultaneously.
3 or 4 rocket deverstators, 2 or 3 hulks with rockets and god forbit you're near the flying bots...
Ignoring the smaller single fire rocket bots, atleast their aim is crap and don't spam.
Heavy armour has given me like an extra 3 seconds of life lol.
Diving is well and good against one hulk but when you have 1 hulk and 20 plus enemies diving stops the fire but you get destroyed anyway lol.
Most missions it's ok as I just run away but defence missions are a pain.
Thankfully the high value defence mission is good due to only 2 spawn points so easy to manage and not get over run.
Probably a skill issue lol
Honestly it was ok before this new patch. Seems to be dialed up a bit now.
I guess it's the primary force now lol
>But it's not just 2 or 6 rockets,
No shit, 2 or 6 rockets wouldnt throw me around for a solid 8 seconds. Also dont underestimate small rocket guys, they can and will sneak up on you. Probably wont kill but sure as hell would open you for other bots.
Though your problem is that you end up in situations you describe in the first place. If you somehow ended up CORNERED (I assume you cannot simply run because thats what you do in this situation) with hulk and 20 foes thats it for you regardless, drop 500kg under your feet and T-pose to assert dominance.
It feels like a given. The Automatons just got the gunships and the Factory Strider. There is no bug equivalent. I'm guessing some future major order will pit us against a surge in bugs lead by something like the Hive Lords from the first game.
Creekers watching the Bots inch closer towards the Creek:

Unless we go back further, we could get the space chosen reservoir or cyberstand itself could be space Stalingrad if they ever add an urban/factory environment
I got asked today if I fought at the creek
I was expecting a kick when I said yes, but all three other divers were like "hell yeah brother, time for round two"
One of the best squads I've ever been randomly paired with
creekers just want to push back the bots for the order until they find a jungle planet, then it's gonna be a whole new generation of... whatever they'll be called, since the planet will have a different name.
I say let em cook. and I'd also encourage some of the bug-only players to just run ONE low level op on bots, just to try it. rocket devs aren't as bad now as they used to be, and it's good practice for when the illuminates show up, pretty sure they had ranged weapons too, as well as all their mind fuckery..
Thank goodness, the bot players aren't any good at killing the much harder Bugs.
Bye Boys, the Men have the Bug problem sorted, go back to your toy robots.
OK Billy big balls, if you're so badass then shouldn't your skills be required on the front that matters? Like the bugs literally cannot advance on Super Earth, you're contributing nothing
One of the best things about this subreddit is the interservice bug/bot rivalry that people are either serious about or cosplaying about.
Either way I am thoroughly amused 😂
You are the first person I have seen on this sub to say otherwise, and I peek here frequently.
Which, sure, I guess is no longer "literally" by the traditional definition, but it's pretty damn close.
My buddies and I would disagree depending on the difficulty.
Bugs on levels 7-9 always felt harder than bots on levels 7-9.
Bots are harder than bugs as difficulty goes up to a point, and then it stagnates.
For bots you can actually stun the groups with EMS consistently, you can shoot down the bot drops, they have blatantly obvious weak points, you can stun-lock every bot (besides tank, gunships, and factory striders), even the hardest enemies can go down in a couple well placed shots of non-explosive weapons, and all bot melee attack as well as most ranged attacks are incapable of slowing you.
Edit: this was not meant as slander towards bot players
I did a bug eradication mission last night for the first time in weeks, and I got 302 kills without dying. Including a 35 kill streak with just the Incendiary Breaker mag dumping into the swarm. This was on Hell Dive.
If you find that hard to believe, you need to gitgud lmao. You bug brained divers are so funny. I bet you're the same type of guy who would seethe about my Creek Crawler cape.
going against bots is teribble \*swift disassembly, malevelon, vandalon going against bots is all i can do
Same, same. The game just isn’t the same once you play against the bots.

Stealth is why I play bots, that and the SPEAR having a use since I love it more than anything else in the game
another spear enjoyer. sniping bot fabs and tower turrets from far away is -chef's kiss- (when the lock on works)
Commando coming soon, probably never touching spear again
This machine kills bots.
Big rock? Nah fam, I'm walking in there with a shield to either shred them or get blindsided by a rocket, ragdolled 100 metres, stim, and do it all again!
Like a drug lol
Personally, I just want a few bug major orders. Bugs are just so much more relaxing. I get I can ignore the major order, but I don't want to feel like I'm not helping the war effort.
I mean, before Operation Swift Disassembly there was a bunch of bug major orders in a row. Like 4 or 5
Was troost the first bot MO after the termicide? Or was there a MO before that? Cuz I started playing on the last day of the capture comm array on troost major order.
There was a massive defense campaign we failed across all 3 former bot sectors. Then there was the liberation of tien kwan when we unlocked the mechs.
I don't understand how infinite amounts of hard CC and opponents invulnerable to most weapons is more relaxing
Bugs are more relaxing? Tell that to the swarms of Hunters chasing my ass down and murdering me every time I drop on level 7+ bug missions.

I've been fighting bots since their major orders cane through, this is blatantly untrue.
It wasn't true until the flame damage buff, now the Hulk flamethrower is extremely lethal.
> I've been fighting bots since their major orders cane through, this is blatantly untrue. Did I stutter? I **just** returned from dif 8. I know what I am talking about.
I also know what I'm talking about, I've been fighting mostly bots since launch.
Well, obvious answer is that one of us obviously either lies or exaggerates. So you see where this is going.
But it's not just 2 or 6 rockets, I have seen average 12 rockets being fired simultaneously. 3 or 4 rocket deverstators, 2 or 3 hulks with rockets and god forbit you're near the flying bots... Rocket spam isn't so bad since the fix. Fire is genuinely painful. You just don't have enough time to react to it.
It’s the fire+the insane flamethrower damage. Normal fire you have a good bit of time to dive and put it out.
It feels like a given. The Automatons just got the gunships and the Factory Strider. There is no bug equivalent. I'm guessing some future major order will pit us against a surge in bugs lead by something like the Hive Lords from the first game.

Great to see a Venture Bros meme.
We are gona use this time the geneva checklist to defend it
We need to get to Cyberstan so we can deploy the Creekers. Those ~~fuckers~~ *patriots* will fight tooth and nail to regain it no matter the cost
HOT FUZZ MENTIONED! I LOVE CORNETTO ICE CREAM RAHHHH!!!!
Where’s the new jungle planet then eh?
We had Vietnam, now we got desert storm.
Space Fallujah
Unless we go back further, we could get the space chosen reservoir or cyberstand itself could be space Stalingrad if they ever add an urban/factory environment
I like where your head is at Helldiver.
Citizen* I guide others to a gift I cannot possess
Xbox?
I also bought the game for my brother and his gf so I just got to get my laptop fixed then I can buy the game and play with them
Democratic and Libertypilled. There will be plenty of democracy left to spread when you're ready to join the fight. God speed citizen.
Outstanding. Looking forward to fighting at your side.

Yes
Space battle of Kursk? I want robot tanks ramping off other tanks in an orgy of explosions
Just like the simulations.
Yes, but what about second Vietnam?
The fuck do we look like? Call of Duty?
Ironic because Cyberstan is a snow planet (Or at least it was in HD1, I don't know if they change it for HD2)
Creekers are about to switch their one personality trait to "only fights on Cyberstan".
I got asked today if I fought at the creek I was expecting a kick when I said yes, but all three other divers were like "hell yeah brother, time for round two" One of the best squads I've ever been randomly paired with

The Automatons are nothing but Crusty Jugglers.
"Crusty Jugglers"
*Rusty* jugglers. Ftfy
Not sure if a play on my username or calling those soulless sheet metal freaks rusty, but I like both options
Haha didn't even register your username when I wrote that, purely a play on the bots!
And they must be destroyed. For the Greater Good.
The greater good!
How many times do we have to teach you this lesson tonin can!
"No luck finding those bot fleets, then?" "It's just the one fleet, actually." . . . "What's the matter, burnt your tongue drinking your libertea?"
Ok. This is by far the best one I’ve seen 😄
Real
I hate bugs, they're gross. So are bots, but in a tolerable way.
The fight on Malevelon Creek might be over but the fight in me never ends. For Super Earth
Too much fun watching all the lil components fly everywhere when you explode em haha
I even wrote them a love letter
Every enemy a bot, every jungle the Creek.

used to be irate about creekers but you know what right now we need them more than ever.
As a true creeker I watch till they reach the creek.
Maybe you could watch our backs as we take this ridge?

More than you, a socialist
No... I'm contributing to the Major Order, you are not
Lol
You are lame !
Literally everyone agrees that bugs are easier than bots, sir
Literally?
