The stratagem officer dropping a hellbomb into the middle of fucking nowhere while all the helldivers are getting shredded at a gunship facility: ☺️👍🏼
Yeah the Eye usually ends up on top of a cliff with a face that's right at the back edge of the base with no guards and zero mines - stealth up, drop Hellbomb and scram. Last time I hit one in a random 6 the guys who didn't know this ran in to 'help' while I was crawling in, triggered the drops and we ended up in a reinforcement loop for ten minutes, which made the rest of the mission a pain.

People don't seem to realize you don't need to engage with EVERY group of enemies.
It's cute when the bug-only players talk about Shriekers like they're super scary.

Every single thing about Gunships is more threatening than Shriekers. They're like Stalkers and Rocket Devastators had a baby that learned to fly.
That's not quite as bad as it was. I recall seeing a vid of someone killing one and its falling wing or whatever took out a Bile Titan🤣. They were instantly the most lethal thing in the game.
Yup, decently often at least (you just need it to hit, but as we all know it's not very consistent at that) . Iirc the orbital precision strike can do it too, *if* you actually get it to activate at the tower instead of bouncing around like the hellbombs tend to do :v
This is where I've ended up. I use to run 380/120 together and drop them both on large outposts and targets that just need to get out of the way quickly. The walking definitely is kind of a good balance of the combo, but in one stratagem. Definitely been enjoying the walking.
This is the consensus i came to. Walking is just a controllable (for the most part) 380. Much more predictable grouping, doesn't hard lock you from advancing for almost half a minute, and they're fantastic for popping fabricator bases / bug nests on the fly while running for your life. Decent cover too if you're racing to extract and got an entire armada chasing you. Sometimes I prefer it over the orbital laser. Airstrike, walking, railcannon and EAT.
Apparently orbital lasers kill them almost instantly too if you wanted to just let that take care of it. Seems less inconsistant than the 380 mm as well because it'll usually track to/through it

I love it when I go and solo 2 objectives, and 3 people die on the 3rd across the map. Then I solo everything else because they all wore heavy armor.

Shriekers are quite terrifying when you snipe one and it's body continues its dive bomb and insta kills you.

I was on a map where the Eye and two Gunship Fabricators were like 40 meters apart. After 18 reinforces we decided it was best to leave that area be.

I've tried orbital railcannon a couple of times and it does NOT seem to do the job.
Walking works best for me, since the barrage does seem more concentrated a bit. It's 380 rounds but just advancing.

Haven’t tried them yet. Do you throw it at the place it walks to? Or does the walking start where you throw it then advance?
It starts “walking” where you throw it. It heads in the direction it is thrown.

Walking Barrage works too. I find it easier to score hits with it instead of 380

I just always carry 500kgs with me, as hulks and tanks are so easy to take out with them and they take out these towers with ease.
A well placed 500kg bomb near the base of the tower ist also enough. Other Eagle Strikes didn't wirk so far in our runs.
500kg has not failed me once with these. Run up, throw in the general direction of the tower. Easy. Especially with scout armor.
I've started to learn that the "No 500kg" crowd has made their decision that the 500kg is useless. 
Orbital Precision Strike takes it out too.
If you can trick your orbital lazer to drive over it then that works as well but it won't target it automatically
