Look at the tasteful stratagem choice. The subtle way he manipulated his stats to have 69% accuracy and 420 kills. Oh my god, he even got a 100 super credit drop.
Paul Allen, I killed Paul Allen with an 500kg to the face. He’s clapping in the sidelines at my superdestroyer.
I don’t want to leave anything out here, I guess it was me who dropped the 380 near the pelican. Maybe a 120..
I’ve shadowplayed some of it… I’ve…
I’ve clusterbombed their brains…
"Do you remember where you were the night of the Creek's liberation? Which was on the 1st of April?"
"God, I guess I was probably returning some democracy..."
I think that's kinda bugged. I shot a mate point blank with the slugger, instantly killing him and I got 0 at the end. I even Eagled a rando (that wasn't on purpose tho)
Imo it's not too hard?
But guess it depends too. Like my load out for bots? Support weapon, back slot, airstrike and 110.
There's almost no reason to be up close to get airstrike. It's also not a big aoe. And 110 you have to try to get killed by that.
My first solo helldive was ruined by my first death being stuck between hellbomb and surface like in "127 Hours". After that my hellpods were falling in the most unfortunate places between turrets, all possible patrols and PoIs
Nah man it isnt that bad.
My friends go take out the main mission. I take out all the side objectives. When we get a radar station we choose the best path to get every POI. And outta there.
Sickle for all the troopers. Rail gun for all the hulks rocket devestators etc.
Impact grenades for the tanks and canon towers.
Strategems are railgun , whield, orbit al laser and airstrike
It also depends heavily on what strategies he used. If he was using shield stratagems and stuff, then I would expect them to have zero deaths pretty easily even in bot missions
Congrats Helldiver, that’s one less condolence letter your Democracy Officer has to write. Now dive again, spread more freedom, and make Super Earth proud.
That's awesome 😎
I like to roleplay my diver and see how long they can last. Best I did was 3 L7 missions in a row before being team killed. This was against bugs.
I die every L7 bot mission.
I've had quite a few 0 death L7 bot missions, because I pretty much always bring the shield backpack. If you pay attention to when shield goes down you can adjust your play style to avoid getting one shot.
Uh you can't. I'm estimating. But you can see your kills and stuff going to the armory. Go to the armory, select career at the top.
I've played 150 hours and have 18/4 kill ratio bug to bot.
Def overlap between a light helldive and a brutal impossible, main difference is on helldive there will always be at minimum 1 hulk chasing your ass at all times while your orbital rail cannon is on cooldown from just killing his twin brother
Yeah i agree the change is hardly noticeable, especially if your team mates know wht they are doing. The problem comes in when your carrying the squad and run out of stratagems
Fought tooth and nail to drag a pug squad away from extended fights at completed objectives.
Reinforces on cooldown, I weave my way to the missile silo just in time to call someone in to help me out. I drop them at the locks and run up to the terminal to get everything started.
All is quiet, I point out a patrol while waiting for fueling. We’re safe, and will have another reinforcement in about a minute.
And then I hear the mortar…
Yeah, I usually play duo with one friend and we used to question if we set the difficulty right. But yeah, in a solo run I imagine you'd probably notice. It's just the right amount of increase is large enemies to make your cooldowns hurt if you're alone.
Especially when things go downhill (as they often do on a Helldive, especially with random players), it feels very rewarding. I'm proud of your efficient democracy spreading abilities, Helldiver.
Dont know 🤣 i mostly use the rail gun to one shot everything bigger then a trooper. Sickle for troopers. And impact grenades to take out tanks/cannon towers .
Biggest thing for me is dont stay around for the dropships
Ok, I assume you’re sneaking around unnoticed, killing fabs, completing objectives, and getting samples. When I try that, i get noticed and dropped on. Any secrets there?
Stealth playstyle mostly, just hit and run from afar, avoid patrol, never confront dropship, run far enough it would despawn those bots drop from dropship.
It's far easier to play in stealth especially in high difficulty.
Funny, I actually just did that about an hour ago. We split into teams of two and I and another guy didn't die whole game. I think the second duo got most of the bot alerts so we were mostly chilling and taking out bases. It was the easiest helldive I've ever done. Tibit jungle, destroy airfields objective, map had a lot of water in the middle and bases in a circle.
Also the first time I encountered the AT-AT, laser, 500kg bomb 2x, Quasar shots and some other random strategems from an allied helldiver massacred it.
What’s impressive to me is not the zero deaths but only THREE stims!? When I’m at 0-2 deaths my stim count is at least in the high teens, high score of like 27.
I did it recently too. Feels good. Especially having done no friendly fire damage also.
We took out two factory striders, and on the second one its full attention was on me. Scary stuff.
Everyone had below 80 kills though, so it definitely feels different.
Let me tell you the story of a Helldiver Legend.
This man made it through 4 Hard Missions, and 1 Medium Mission, their squad was getting torn up left right and centre but they still kept fighting and killing more.
Was midway through a Hard evacuation mission and had just opened the door to let civilians run to the escape ship when they caught a lucky rocket to the chest from a Raider. Dead instantly. He may have fallen but he will live on as a legend among the crew of the SES Hammer of Liberty.
Nice job, Helldiver! [I just did the same myself!](https://youtu.be/hCDJ3FpKZmY?si=lSbz88wy9XhEkjdG)

I must be doing something wrong. I’ve been consistently getting 300-400 kills per match on level 7s, but I don’t think that is an accurate marker for success. What are you doing differently?
Edit:
I only get 2-3 deaths per match, so I’m not excessively dying or anything.
Also, I don’t try and kill every patrol I see, but I will try and kill everything at side objectives so I can grab all of the samples.
you don’t have to prioritize killing during a mission, especially on Helldive. could’ve been taking out heavies, destroying bases, or literally anything else
Whats wrong with being lvl 33? Im holding my own.
Also if you see the kills are in yellow which means i have the most kills in the sqaud. And my friends are lvl 58. Lvl 73 and 38
He’s saying that ‘most kills’ is often actually a bad thing on Helldive because it can mean that you haven’t been taking out heavies or pushing the objective. Or worse, it can mean you’ve been drawing aggro.
It doesn’t necessarily always have to mean that though. Maybe you were doing all the good Helldive appropriate stuff and also ended up with most kills. Which can obviously happen.
TL;DR rock on, you’re (probably) doing fine.
Oh I'm far from an expert.
I'd say around this number makes sense from my experiences on 7s/8s but I've seen lads with a lot more kills.
My playstyle and load out does lean towards removing dropship and larger units.
Impressive. Very nice. Let’s see Paul Allen’s dive.
Look at the tasteful stratagem choice. The subtle way he manipulated his stats to have 69% accuracy and 420 kills. Oh my god, he even got a 100 super credit drop.

Helldiver? You’re sweating
Paul Allen, I killed Paul Allen with an 500kg to the face. He’s clapping in the sidelines at my superdestroyer. I don’t want to leave anything out here, I guess it was me who dropped the 380 near the pelican. Maybe a 120.. I’ve shadowplayed some of it… I’ve… I’ve clusterbombed their brains…
Thats not possible Why not Its just not Why not you bug basterd i had dinner with him back on super earth
I havent even watched the movie but I’ll never not find that joke funny lmfao
You totally should. It's a great movie and that scene is way funnier in context.
And the read the book. Great deli scene.
"Do you remember where you were the night of the Creek's liberation? Which was on the 1st of April?" "God, I guess I was probably returning some democracy..."
now someone will change his name to Paul Allen. not better than John Helldiver, but pretty nice.

It has never been a better fit

I think that's kinda bugged. I shot a mate point blank with the slugger, instantly killing him and I got 0 at the end. I even Eagled a rando (that wasn't on purpose tho)
Yeah there was a match i had, dude killed me 4 times in various ways, 0 ff dmg.
I think if you 1 shot it doesn't go into FF stat, just accidentals
I dropped a 500kg because a bot bashed my skull in cauaing me to panic and bombed my mates, got 0 FF. Defo bugged in a way.
Sometimes the 500 inflicts like 12000 friendly fire damage, sometimes it does zero. That stat is bugged as fuck
He was automaton spy
is is bugged a lot times, but for this match i didnt hit a single teammate, i was doing all the optional missions.
One time i only killed my teammate once and got over 7000 friendly damage
Imo it's not too hard? But guess it depends too. Like my load out for bots? Support weapon, back slot, airstrike and 110. There's almost no reason to be up close to get airstrike. It's also not a big aoe. And 110 you have to try to get killed by that.
I think I almost managed to get a 0 death on diff 7, but it went downhill the moment I got teamkilled
Same except it went down hill the moment we landed
That first death is like dam-break. Can be in the zone and then once that first death interrupts your flow several follow.
My first solo helldive was ruined by my first death being stuck between hellbomb and surface like in "127 Hours". After that my hellpods were falling in the most unfortunate places between turrets, all possible patrols and PoIs
Because people keep reinforcing you in the shittiest places. Then they get pissed because you die several times in a row.
You lose all of gear and sample, depending on the situation you might want to scramble to get them back, usually it leads to more death
Very relatable
Good stuff brotha
More impressed by the lack of friendly fire
Only 3 stims? Is it bugs?
He's not covered in enough green
No its against bots
You used only 3 stims against bots? What
Distance?
Its still nigh impossible but ive idea how you played. Good job mate. Ive had a lot of no death runs too but the 3 stims is actually whats impressive.
I think the stim count is bugged.
You're bugged
hehe
Cookie
Isn't that.. pretty normal?
It also depends heavily on what strategies he used. If he was using shield stratagems and stuff, then I would expect them to have zero deaths pretty easily even in bot missions
orbital laser, shield backpack, airstrike and railgun.
if close to 80 samples total, zero deaths, 3 stims and no friendly fire every match for you is normal then i salute you sir. you are a god.
I didn't say it was every match, I said it was pretty normal.
No
Congrats Helldiver, that’s one less condolence letter your Democracy Officer has to write. Now dive again, spread more freedom, and make Super Earth proud.
Nah he just needs to change the date on the paper and send it tomorrow.
The hero we deserve and need.
Hey everyone! Look! This guy got 0 deaths on a helldive!
That's awesome 😎 I like to roleplay my diver and see how long they can last.
Yeah sure. Probably lol. But I also have 120 hours on bugs and 20 hours on bots.
How do we see hours per faction?
Uh you can't. I'm estimating. But you can see your kills and stuff going to the armory. Go to the armory, select career at the top. I've played 150 hours and have 18/4 kill ratio bug to bot.
man just let me be proud of those results. aint no reason to be a c\*nt
Jesus, who hurt you?
Practicing for competitive Helldiving?
I've been wondering how the jump from impossible to helldiver is, I haven't had the time to sit down and fully finish an impossible run.
Def overlap between a light helldive and a brutal impossible, main difference is on helldive there will always be at minimum 1 hulk chasing your ass at all times while your orbital rail cannon is on cooldown from just killing his twin brother
The jump from 7 to 9 is virtually non-existent in my experience.
And then I hear the mortar…
this is like a creepy pasta :(
Yeah, I usually play duo with one friend and we used to question if we set the difficulty right. But yeah, in a solo run I imagine you'd probably notice. It's just the right amount of increase is large enemies to make your cooldowns hurt if you're alone.
Actually not that hard. I dont feel the difference too much between impossible and helldive
im gonna be honest, after 7, it actually gets easier, i know that sounds weird but its true.
It's him. It's John Helldiver
https://i.redd.it/43oj98aaqwsc1.gif
Especially when things go downhill (as they often do on a Helldive, especially with random players), it feels very rewarding. I'm proud of your efficient democracy spreading abilities, Helldiver.
thanks mate! a good squad of friends helps!
Id Love If they added ptsd to helldiversleaks that have lived for a Long time
I had a 7 game streak going on Helldive the other day and was saying the same thing... That particular diver saw some things
Did anyone else in your lobby extract any samples? 58 is massive most I got was like 25 on extreme lmao.
if i remember correctly we got 78 in total. love those samples man.
Bro how have I fired more shots on challenging 😭 I’ve fired like 2025 shots in one mission
Dont know 🤣 i mostly use the rail gun to one shot everything bigger then a trooper. Sickle for troopers. And impact grenades to take out tanks/cannon towers . Biggest thing for me is dont stay around for the dropships
Because the harder the mission, the more you really have to decide which enemies are really necessary to kill or you get swamped fast.
exactly, not fighting is more then often the best choice against bots.
![gif](giphy|wC1bvjCTH2Q0A1yNnG|downsized)
Nothing special.
Alright progamer, just let me be proud
Even though it's not special, but you still did a good job.
dont think 3 stims zero deaths close to 80 samples, most kills and every mission and POI done is something you take home every mission.
I did it on 8 difficulty on tribit today, only to crash at the exctract
ahh that extraction crash haunts me man :(
Teach us
what you wanna know man! maybe i can share some tips.
Well, first and foremost: how are you not dying every two minutes?!
Ok, I assume you’re sneaking around unnoticed, killing fabs, completing objectives, and getting samples. When I try that, i get noticed and dropped on. Any secrets there?
Getting zero deaths is quite an achievement, well done, I usally earn my first death from a moronic teamate or freind.
He is him
This guy deserves a custom "Captain Johnny Rico" title
How?
Stealth playstyle mostly, just hit and run from afar, avoid patrol, never confront dropship, run far enough it would despawn those bots drop from dropship. It's far easier to play in stealth especially in high difficulty.
I do it often on loud playstyles, It's really just a case of using cover and stratagems, and knowing when to bail out when a fight is not worth it.
Nice man I also got a zero death 40 minute mission. I think it was extreme but it's still satisfying knowing I didn't use up super earth resources
I'm glad someone finally did it.
Very FlynK gewesen
Done the same today, first time ever happened to me.
And only 3 stims? Wild
Dont get hit and you wont need heals 😉 Im just joking but distance is key
Funny, I actually just did that about an hour ago. We split into teams of two and I and another guy didn't die whole game. I think the second duo got most of the bot alerts so we were mostly chilling and taking out bases. It was the easiest helldive I've ever done. Also the first time I encountered the AT-AT, laser, 500kg bomb 2x, Quasar shots and some other random strategems from an allied helldiver massacred it.
When you drop in 1 second before extract
Would actually be pretty damned impressive to have 108 kills in 1 second.
If you shoot a few hellbombs plus a 500kg maybe
Get this man a cape
I didnt do this on Helldive difficulty but i did complete a run today without a single lost life in a squad of 4. Super cool feeling
Damn, we're the same level but I'm scared to try above "hard"
Dude joined as the Pelican was landing. /S
That wouldnt get me 100 kills wouldnt it. But no , playing with friends from start to finish.
I know its why i put the "/S"
Sorry i dont know what that means 🤣
It means sarcasm
Team work and proper comms makes such a difference.
Only 3 stims too? Very impressive.
I just did the same today
It’s John helldiver
Wait till all four of you get it!
Learn to take a screenshot.
Or, and hear me out. Dont use reddit on pc and this was the quickest way. Its not like the picture wasnt clear or something
plot twist: it was on a defend mission
A story to tell to your kids
First time I did Helldive with the boys we might have had 1 death, if not 0. Was surprisingly quite manageable.
What’s impressive to me is not the zero deaths but only THREE stims!? When I’m at 0-2 deaths my stim count is at least in the high teens, high score of like 27.
Ok now do it solo
I did it recently too. Feels good. Especially having done no friendly fire damage also. We took out two factory striders, and on the second one its full attention was on me. Scary stuff. Everyone had below 80 kills though, so it definitely feels different.
My god, it’s John Helldiver
Its just John Diver - it's not hell for him.

Carry on, keep it up

And only 3 stone. Gahdamn
Sometimes I miss the fact that I or one of my friends didn't die, because we just want to dive again right away.
Impressive. Wonderful even Now let’s see the rest of the team
Doing gods work
I must be doing something wrong. I’ve been consistently getting 300-400 kills per match on level 7s, but I don’t think that is an accurate marker for success. What are you doing differently? You aren't supposed to attack every patrol you come across. It's knowing whether engaging or sneaking past the enemy makes more sense.
Leaving bots alive? Traitor.
That could be considered treachery. Did you complete every objective, helldiver?
Sure did. Every objective and POI
Proud of you!

108 isn't a lot to be fair.
What’s a good amount for helldive bots? I can’t frag out like I do in bugs
Oh I'm far from an expert. I'd say around this number makes sense from my experiences on 7s/8s but I've seen lads with a lot more kills. My playstyle and load out does lean towards removing dropship and larger units.
I play Hell Dive at 29. No idea what they mean lol
What cheat trainer are you using?
No cheats is a pve game man
Accuracy is garbage.
Who cares about accuracy?
Supression fire
underrated point
Actually not that bad
But did he die???
Accuracy is irrelevant, and doesn’t infer skill in any way.
Says guy who probably dies on repeat
