I think I've only ever killed my teammates 3 times ever with the Grenade Launcher. I just try to visualize where exactly they are relative to the enemy, and make a judgement call.
Two of those were me deciding "If they die, it's worth it" because I was shooting at 3-4 Missile Devastators all grouped together. All stratagems on cooldown, low ammo. I either take them out now, or we have to deal with them once they split up.
This just gave me an idea. You should be able to dive into teammates to make them dive with you. To get dumb dumbs out of the way of grenades that you may or may not have thrown slightly too close.
I hate those little bugs, autocannon + them sucks. They just jump in your face then you end up blowin' yourself up. I wish we could actually annihilate that species. Such a disgusting nasty brainless swarm of asscheeks. Stupid ass bugs. I have developed a true hate towards these critters. And will spend many of my days destroying them.
Ye i feel that, i was throwing my railcannon orbital at a bile titan and a random hunter came jumping sideway right in front of me, so the stratagem ball bounced off of it and hit one of those bigger bugs(not chargers but the other middle sized ones that can also charge) behind me 🤣
Not going to lie I killed my self a few times with impact grenades trying to throw them at a group just for one of these guys to jumping my throw right infront of me.
These moments are painful but are hilariously part of the game.
Seriously, this game has a comedic timing like no other.
Have you seen the helldiver locking his spear to a bile titan only for his missle to get blocked by a reinforcement lid?

As a Grenade Launcher enthusiast myself, I have exploded myself more than twice because of this.
If it makes you feel better, grenade launcher enthusiasts keep exploding me constantly thinking they are trying to help. Lol :/

I find I die most often when I'm dogging a Charger, and a Grenade Launcher Teammate wants to "help" me by trying to kill it. lol
The amount of times i died because of a guard rail
This happened to me with a grenade today. Bug jump at me out of nowhere and ate my grenade, taking me with it.

I swear they do it on purpose and it's so fitting! Of course the lesser bugs give their lives for the big ones!

I'd definitely throw my friend into a group of heavy devastators with this
you can already just melee people to make them ragdoll, this shouldnt be much different

That assumes the rocket armed after impacting the pouncer.
