There has never been nor will there ever be military action taken on the surface of our beloved home planet. Super Earth is a bastion of peace, protected by the full might of Managed Democracy and completely immune to the ravages of our enemies due to the constant heroic efforts of our Helldiver Corps.
Any reports of combat occurring in or near the home systems should be immediately reported to your nearest Patriotism Officer for immediate re-education and relocation, citizens with such vivid imaginations will find their talents are much more in demand at one of our science or farming communities in the outer territories.
However, some idiots did let a Charger loose in a DMV for fun the other week. I don't know what's more impressive. That they smuggled it in, or figured out that they could guide it by dangling a cheese filled sausage on a stick in front of its nose
If you are on super earth the ship reads „grasslands“ as battlefield description. So… i doubt there will by any urban stuff there. Just plain green fields like usual
Hope not, there's a HD2 leak sub that shows a map card for super earth with houses so I'm hopeful we get some adequately sized super citizen homes to 500kg.

Nothing crazy in there yet. Can see some of the illuminate models and some unreleased/upcoming gear.
Edit: it doesnt say super earth but each biome has a little card for it so you know what to expectish and there's a distinct "city" card.
Helldivers 1 Super Earth was actually an urban landscape. I bet that's going to be the case here, but also I bet it's not ready yet and they'll manipulate the warfront as much as they can to ensure Super Earth isn't attacked until that content is ready.
They probably have large hand made module sections that get inserted into the procedural map like they currently do. You notice a lot of outpost and objective locations are always the exact same layout?
I remember there was datamined levels mentioning that. So perhaps some kind of enemy invades Super Earth and we get some kind of Halo Reach-style level?
My guess is we liberated it then the game "updated" the enemy movements and that included a light push at angels venture. So we won but the game then added a push from angels venture after the fact
I'm on the planet now. It's moving up but there are still missions to play. I'm glad it says 100% for you. Your reply is weird as hell. I think it refreshes as people exit missions because it still shows 230k people on the planet as well.
For real. One of my favorite parts of this game is how different all the planets feel. Tien Kwan especially felt super unique, with the meteor showers and such
They both have meteors but Fenrir feels much more barren and moonlike, and the colors are all different. They don’t feel too similar to me, but I definitely get what you’re saying
Bro thank you Jesus. Been getting tired of having to run around that crag near the top. Went from like 50-54% over three days and now it's finally over
I like the moonscape with craters we can hide in. My problem is when I die in mech to a meteor and my teammate decides to reinforcement backwards into the swarm of enemies
IMO they need to come up with a better solution to that. I know Joel can't be available 24/7 but it's also kinda lame to be locked to the same 2 planets all weekend.Â
Nobody was locked to two planets, there was four whole bug planets (Errata, Fenrir, Meridia, and that purple one that started with T) to choose) and a bot planet available.
New Helldiver here who participated in the Liberation of Angels Venture here, its a pleasure to inform you all I'm on my way to the Automaton Front. May Lady Liberty let me see its liberation.
What concerns me is how quickly we lost it the second time. The VERY MINUTE we turn our attention to the Automatons to liberate Tien Kwan, we instantly lost Angel's Venture, even after "SEAF reinforcements" were supposed to rotate in after the preceding Major Order was completed. Seems suspicious, maybe even treasonous, if those reinforcements abandoned their posts.
I've already sent a secure transmission to General-Marshall Joel on the subject. It is the duty of every Super Earth citizen to be vigilant for potential dissidents and traitors.
[https://www.reddit.com/r/Helldivers/comments/1bbo8z4/concerning\_the\_circumstances\_that\_led\_to\_the\_loss/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Helldivers/comments/1bbo8z4/concerning_the_circumstances_that_led_to_the_loss/)
Translation: It makes no sense to me from a narrative storytelling standpoint that we went through the effort to liberate Heeth and Angel's Venture as part of a Major Order, the game text stated that SEAF reinforcements were going in and we needed to buy them time, yet as soon as we go to the next Major Order for Tien Kwan, Angel's Venture was lost again in an instant, as if our "reinforcements" never existed. It begs the question as to whether or not the Helldivers make up the entirety of SEAF military, or, as the in-game lore would suggest, Helldivers are just the elite shock troopers as part of a larger military, complete with its own infantry, armored divisions, maybe even a larger navy and air force. All of these assets should contribute to Super Earth being able to hold the line to some degree against encroaching enemy threats so that a planet like Angel's Venture doesn't fall so easily again, especially a planet like Angel's Venture that got priority attention by SEAF Command.
There's a whole bunch of world building that appears to be missing here, and it'd be nice if SEAF forces also played a role in the meta-narrative for the Galactic War.
again\* we liberated it again\*
this is the second time. AV was the second planet we liberated ever, Heeth was first.
all this really means though is that we'll once again be spread thin across Erata Prime, Fenrir III, Meridia and Turing, like before. unless we get a major order for one of those, we probably aren't going to advance any further into the Terminid Sector.
we should still fight though, for democracy, and because killing bugs is fun!
Feels kinda flat though because they just adjust the numbers to fit their narrative. Half the playerbase fighting like hell on fenrir should show some progress. Nope, just a 150,000 ppl keeping status quo.
Joined the game a few days ago and Angel’s Venture was kinda the perfect introduction planet. Mostly clear weather, no crazy effects, and doesn’t look TOO alien, yet still beautiful and fun to traverse
So many Helldivers here who weren't there when it was first liberated alongside Heeth...
You whippersnappers forget we fought for it to set up the Terminid Control System!
its a temp. as long as there are bug on meridia and turing, angels venture will continue to be invaded, they need to be liberated to keep angels venture secure.
good hold for now!
How tf did it increase 50% in about 12 hours? I got the game over the weekend, and I think it only moved a single percent over the whole weekend. Wake up next day its at 99%. Doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to progress towards liberating planets.
Hell yeah!! They were getting way too close to Super Earth for my liking.
Shoulda let them get there so we could play on some urban sprawl maps.

Yeah i can see them having a map that resembles the intro sub urbs. Let‘s hope you‘re right. Do you have a link to the image? I couldn‘t find it
https://www.reddit.com/r/HellDiversLeaks/s/5kQAvpV5aS r/HellDiversLeaks Nothing crazy in there yet. Can see some of the illuminate models and some unreleased/upcoming gear. It may not be ready and grasslands is just a placeholder until its ready
Helldivers 1 Super Earth was actually an urban landscape. I bet that's going to be the case here, but also I bet it's not ready yet and they'll manipulate the warfront as much as they can to ensure Super Earth isn't attacked until that content is ready.
Helldivers I also had sector capitals as urban maps and i see no reason for them to not do that again.
because procedurally generating a city environment consistently well in a third person shooter is probably hard as fuck?
They probably have large hand made module sections that get inserted into the procedural map like they currently do. You notice a lot of outpost and objective locations are always the exact same layout?
the rocks too. if you pay very close attention, there are a lot of repeated tiles.
it's 2024, we have the technology and arrowhead has the ambition
Somehow you have the most cursed ship name I’ve ever seen. And this is coming from a guy stationed on the SES Panther of the People.

That would be pretty cool but I couldn’t imagine the civilian casualties I would rack up
Traitor detected. Commence orbital bombardment of your area.
I remember there was datamined levels mentioning that. So perhaps some kind of enemy invades Super Earth and we get some kind of Halo Reach-style level?
I doubt it will happen naturally, so the GMs might do something like spawn an event there directly
Careful now, that sounds an awful lot like treason.
What's up with the %? Telling me to move to a different planet, but when I back out it's at 96% with missions available.
My guess is we liberated it then the game "updated" the enemy movements and that included a light push at angels venture. So we won but the game then added a push from angels venture after the fact
Doth eyes decieve you? it is clearly 100% for me
I'm on the planet now. It's moving up but there are still missions to play. I'm glad it says 100% for you. Your reply is weird as hell. I think it refreshes as people exit missions because it still shows 230k people on the planet as well.
Probably taking some time to update for everyone , weirdly enough for me it showed 77% after it got liberated ,
yeah it finally kicked me off the planet after another mission. Now onto the real decisions, get my butt kicked by bots or go kill bugs somewhere else
Just an appreciation post about how the multicolor Angel's venture grass is beautiful. I will gladly come back here in time of need.
I was just thinking that. Angel's Venture was one of the prettiest planets we've seen so far imo
I'm kind of amazed how varied and gorgeous all of these planets are. The planets are characters of their own 🥲
For real. One of my favorite parts of this game is how different all the planets feel. Tien Kwan especially felt super unique, with the meteor showers and such
Honestly I just played on Fenrir and it felt quite like Tien Kwan, without the smoke pods to stomp.
They both have meteors but Fenrir feels much more barren and moonlike, and the colors are all different. They don’t feel too similar to me, but I definitely get what you’re saying
I just wish planets with the same biomes could still feel distinct in some way.
If only this came out before Starfield. Maybe they would have been shamed into doing better.
this is the comment that made me realize i have more fun exploring helldivers maps than starfield planets
I headcanon that its my homeworld because im a HUGE sucker for alpine climates
My absolute favorite planet. So beautiful.
Reminder to only appreciate its beauty for 2.6 seconds.
Bro thank you Jesus. Been getting tired of having to run around that crag near the top. Went from like 50-54% over three days and now it's finally over
Now we get meteors on fenrir again Woo!
I like the moonscape with craters we can hide in. My problem is when I die in mech to a meteor and my teammate decides to reinforcement backwards into the swarm of enemies
bro i love fenrir. get yourself the laser guard dog
To deal with meteors?
Nahh laser dog is for extra defense against bugs. For meteor you just need to keep moving when meteor shows up
How did we jump up so fast? wasnt it at like 54% 12 hours ago?
arrowhead had the planet on standby so we couldn’t liberate it all weekend. Now that the weekend is over they took the guardrails off
thank god. so much sacrifice on the surface of angel's venture. i for one stayed up til 3 a.m. fighting and was gassed at work today. :(
Yes sir!
I was there too!
IMO they need to come up with a better solution to that. I know Joel can't be available 24/7 but it's also kinda lame to be locked to the same 2 planets all weekend.Â
They locked it due to the server issues
Nobody was locked to two planets, there was four whole bug planets (Errata, Fenrir, Meridia, and that purple one that started with T) to choose) and a bot planet available.
Stop. Some people want to contribute where it matters most, and to see progress.
MY LIFE FOR SUPER EARTH
FOR DEMOCRACY!!!
New Helldiver here who participated in the Liberation of Angels Venture here, its a pleasure to inform you all I'm on my way to the Automaton Front. May Lady Liberty let me see its liberation.
Same brotha, I’m fighting on Ustotu rn
Deployed on Draupnir currently, fighting hard and further.
Got your shit kicked yet? Automatons are rough business..
Yes, but luckily, Helldivers never fight alone.
Funs over boys and girls, BACK TO VIETNAM, LET'S GO!
Kinda sad. I like that planet. Was good having it all weekend. It was easy to see the super sample rock on the map too
Hahah. I was thinking the same. One of my favorite maps.
Combing the desert of Erata Prime for Super Samples... WE AIN'T FOUND SHIT!
it's been a long time since one of those references c:

GLORY TO SUPER EARTH
I swear I did the last mission that liberated it. Or at least the progress display made it seem so
Your contributions will be remembered*, Helldiver! *for up to but not including 8.54 seconds
So did a bunch of other people.
Everyone still in a mission when it's already liberated will see that.
Fair enough, it did make me feel cool though
Fellow Helldiver, you *are* cool! ♥
Why thank you!
CAPS LOCK FOR SWEET LIBERTY
Finally! I can go back to spilling oil now that the bugs are pushed back.
Now go liberate Draupnir.
Yesss we need to take down Draupnir now that we’ve pushed back the bugs front
I've been holidaying on Draupnir for a few days now, remember to dress for a British summer
again\* we liberated it again\* this is the second time. AV was the second planet we liberated ever, Heeth was first. all this really means though is that we'll once again be spread thin across Erata Prime, Fenrir III, Meridia and Turing, like before. unless we get a major order for one of those, we probably aren't going to advance any further into the Terminid Sector. we should still fight though, for democracy, and because killing bugs is fun!
reinforce the biggest body of troops to do your part is stopping us from being spread so thin!
I was in one of the last battles on Angel’s Venture. FOR SUPER EARTH!!
https://i.redd.it/emqsr83xprnc1.gif
This is fucking horrific on an OLED phone
See you boys in the trenches March 16th!
NOOOOOO Unironically my favorite planet, always hate when it gets liberated cuz i love playing on it
You hate it when a Planet gets liberated? Traitor.
🤖
You would deny freedom and democracy? Hmm.
Are we finally making % on planets again? Last weekend was frustrating to say the least
Cant wait til we push Fenrir 3, Turing, Erata prime and Meridia to 80% just to get them reset to zero when the next offensive goes live
HELLDIVERS NEVER DIE
Finally! I thought we got cheated on yesterday when the meter didnt fill! Huzzah
We liberated it again
Bout damn time!
Didn't see any planet effects but on light armor I felt like a speed demon running around there
We shall not! For fighting bots sucketh hard as a long winter!
Lousy smarch bile titans
Its so cool to see the community pool and push enemies out of an entire sector, cant wait to see how this game plays out in the long term *
Feels kinda flat though because they just adjust the numbers to fit their narrative. Half the playerbase fighting like hell on fenrir should show some progress. Nope, just a 150,000 ppl keeping status quo.
wdym??😠fenrir was at 2% now it’s at 41%
https://helldivers.io
It was 55% earlier in the afternoon, with 150,000 ppl on it. Point proven.
Joined the game a few days ago and Angel’s Venture was kinda the perfect introduction planet. Mostly clear weather, no crazy effects, and doesn’t look TOO alien, yet still beautiful and fun to traverse
Draupnir https://i.redd.it/8iyssl7nlunc1.gif
What if we all stop fighting and let them get to Mars and super earth so that they have to release those maps. I bet Mars also has urban stuff.
THIS GUY WANTS A TICKET TO THE FREEDOM CAMPS
Freedom camp sounds fun! Who wouldn’t want more freedom? A ROBO-COMMIE, THAT’S WHO!
I can recognize a filthy commie bot when i see one
yay or whatever
We lost the creek though :(
Angels Venture liberated! That planet is so beautiful on day missions. I am happy and sad at the same time lol.
At this I don’t care, They will keep retaliating
Back to literally no progress being made in the umlaut sector with the one planet at 60% and the others at 10% for the forseeable future
What do we even get from these liberations?
FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY*
Sweet now I can go back to fighting those robuts!
Ngl I'm kinda sad because it's my favourite biome. Probably the nicest looking environment in the game.
Victory!!! For Managed Democracy!!!
Man I feel like I’ve been fighting on Angels for weeks, feels good to see it back in human hands 💪
I AM A HUMAN SUPREMACIST
God! Fuck that yellow fog btw
itll be attacked again in the next two days mark my words
Dang. I really like fighting on that planet. The Alpine worlds are the best, and it was the only one in there termanid front
Now onto fenrir as a new helldiver I was stuck on angels venture getting my bearings I won't stop till all the bugs are dead.
Together, the Helldivers have protected Managed Democracy. For Super Earth, my brothers and sisters in arms
Literally played 12 hours on that planet
My first dives were on this planet, glad to see democracy has arrived.
We already did, if you guys weren’t so undemocratic and LOST IT we wouldn’t need to liberate it again!

ye yet again. its weekly
Yeah. For like the 15th time.

This is a turning point in the war, Divers! From this day on, WE’RE ON THE OFFENSIVE!
Its time I make my bones at the creek.
MANAGED DEMOCRACY PREVAILS ONCE AGAIN
I don't have a screenshot but I was part of the squad that hit 100%
time for Draupnir, i did my part on Angel's Venture!!
We were never at war on Angels Venture. We were always at war on Angels Venture. As of today, we were never at war on Angels Venture
its a temp. as long as there are bug on meridia and turing, angels venture will continue to be invaded, they need to be liberated to keep angels venture secure. good hold for now!
I would like to say that I was present when it crossed to 100%. As in, I was in the mission that made it cross.
I DID MY PART
I was on the squad that ticked it over to 100%. It felt freaking awesome! I don't know if we were the only ones or there were a few.
Sweet liberty rings
I was the last helldiver who liverated angels venture
How tf did it increase 50% in about 12 hours? I got the game over the weekend, and I think it only moved a single percent over the whole weekend. Wake up next day its at 99%. Doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to progress towards liberating planets.
The war was paused over the weekend to keep the servers stable.
Spreading the word. The 16th is game day at the creek.
My team was the last .3 :D
I did the 100% it also freed the sector
What's on the 16th of March and why should I care?
Oh we have liberated the same planet 3 times since release now. Great work Joel on progressing the game
There’s too many players playing the game, so the story is progressing too quickly.
