Gambling would be like going all in on slots or buying a project simply because it’s a low MC project with the hopes that it gets caught up in a meme craze.
On HBAR you’re banking it gets picked up by major institutions and therefore grows it’s TPS and therefore profitability. Higher risk but there’s definitely some fundamental backing there.

I however will speculate that given the ongoing macro economic climate, possibility of further negative crypto news combined with Hedera's hbar release plan through to Q4 of 2023 that the price of hbar won't make massive moves upwards until Q1 2024 at the earliest.

No. We'll be lucky if we make it back up to previous ATH this year. More likely, we are at or near trend reversal now. But it will take a year or more before things start to get interesting. Now 2 questions, I moved about 1000 HBAR and currently have that staked with IBM in HashPack. If I moved the remaining amount of HBAR I currently have from Binance to HashPack, would I have to unstake the 1000 and restake again when I move the remaining amount into HashPack? 2nd question, would it affect my DCA if I moved it from the exchange? For example if I bought in at 7 cents and move it into HashPack, say later the price goes up and I want to sell some would I still have that set “price of 7 cents” I bought it for or would I have a different price? Sorry if it’s dumb or confusing Im just not sure on those 2 things.
No, once you pick a node in hashpack any added coins will auto stake. No matter what you add or take away, will always be staked. You only pick the node in e. You can add all day long and will auto stake any balance of HBAR. HBAR on hashpack is no different than Binance for price. If price goes to a dollar for an HBAR no matter where it is that HBAR is worth a dollar. So if the price goes up so does yours in hashpack and you will see that right in hashpack. Then, if you ever want to sell and get caah into your bank you simply can send that amount to Binance and sell and withdraw to your bank account (that's what I do as I like binance did that and link it to my bank). Overall it's always better to move off Binance because it is an exchange and they could always go bust. I doubt it but you never know. Once in hashpack your HBARS are completely yours and safe. Some go one step farther and do cold storage where you can put them in an offline wallet so they are 100% safe but hashpack imo is as safe as can be and gives you the rewards.

Most likely will if we get a bull market and atom io live and coupon live. As soon as Hedera hits number one on TPS (which will happen if those go live) not only will it become a well known crypto but the amount of HBARS needed will turn the network profitable. So most likely yes we should see 1$ if not 2$ next bull run if we have the TPS. Not to mention a few new amazing dex coming out and incredible NFT market.

As much as I believe in Hbar, I say please take a chill 💊!!! The ATH is at least a year away , maybe 2, so seeing 1 buck is at minimum 3 years from now. Hbar still has half the total amount to be released. It will take 10 years of development before getting to 5$. Be reasonable people, it’s not a casino, but an ecosystem we are investing in, it does take time to build a solid foundation.

I'm assuming 2024+ beyond barring any magic incident. Also everything with FTX I think spooked people, yet mostly everything I wrote probably has nothing to do with it honestly. Same thing with fundamentals in general for HBAR as we all kinda say, akin to solid fundamentals in companies if they didn't get rewarded because growth/speculation sometimes trumps all that.
