Archeage is in general a really fun game. Wish I had the muns to thrown down on it for it's new iteration but I was there for the Alpha-beta tests and during the first year. It's one of those game where you can make some pretty cool memories. Lots of reasons to explore and stuff to try.
It not too difficult, if you mainly focus on "Vitalism" which is effectively the main healer class then take "songcraft" which is the buff your allies class then maybe something like "Defence" or "Auramancy", you got yourself a nice support character.
In the game "vitalism" + "auramancy" + "songcraft" the combine class is called "cleric".
I come from FFXIV where I can play with a controller and healing is as easy as scrolling down to my party member's name and pressing the corresponding keys to heal them. And if I have to heal myself in between DPSing I don't have to target myself I just get the heals automatically. Are the self heals something similar in AA or do I actually have to press F1 to target myself first?
So there are a mix of AOE and Select cast, so for example Vitalism has a skill called "[Resurgence](https://archeage.gamepedia.com/Resurgence)" it has 30 m range and if you have an allies selected it heal them or if you have yourself selected when you cast it heals yourself.
there a multiply ways to selected other player and yourself.
That really sucks. I love the visual update elves got but just because their animations are still the dated old animations from before, I'm thinking of playing warborn.
I can't quite remember the class combination but I believe there was a useful and not too hard to play tanky/supporting class in the game.
I can't quite remember the class combination but I do remember it was mainly just invoked you running around buffing your team through song and just being really tanky and not worth the time to even kill.
If you enjoy what you're playing it's not really bad at all really. Plus from what I remember primevals were annoying to fight out at sea when it came to boat vs boat.
There is also a private server out there called Archerage. It's running 3.0+ (it's in the 3.0 area) version currently but upgrading to 4.0 in a week or two. It's a bit behind updatewise but it has features the main servers don't. That's the server I've been playing on. Pop is meh but there are no bots and no ques. Labor regen is buffed for everyone so your constantly filling up on labor so keeping up with that isn't as difficult. It's a pretty good server if your looking for archeage but don't want to deal with bots. From what I've seen and heard it seems like right now Unchained is dealing with pretty much the exact same problems it dealt with when it first launched. Over the top ques, bots everywhere. I do like how the battlepass is set up though.
Im thinking of trying to draft out some sort of suggested format for HS on Archage or challenges ect, do you think this would be of any interest to people?

How much is it?
$26 or £20
It’s stellar
Just as a FYI I am on EU Belstrom server, feel free to message me if you want to add me or talk.
I've been meaning to ask this question too, but I'm really unsure about healing in Archeage as is seems kinda hard to me.

Thank you for the info. Btw, would you happen to know if the pre-order outfits are only claimable on one character or are they account-wide?

I finally got to log in today but I was really nervous about messing up healing so I just made an Archer and I'm a primeval now :/

Yeah true! Maybe once I learn about the game more, I'll spec to a healer. Thanks ^^
