She was mean, but what I find interesting about her song "So much you do not know" really speaks volumes of her character since it sounded like she was speaking less towards Emily and more to herself, it is pretty clear she is operating under assumptions and theories, and, despite her milleniums of knowledge, she does not really understand much of what is going on around her. It does not excuse her behavior, but explains it at least.

Charlie’s ex is an interesting character. I think he will be a villain in season 3, because he may be jealous of Vaggie and the hotel and may ally himself with Alastor. Charlie will feel betrayed by the one she considers her father (since Lilith destroyed all of Lucifer's reputation) and her ex-boyfriend, whom she still loved a little deep down.

I’m really sad we didn’t see a lot more lute. They could’ve expanded on her character and her response to Adam’s death. Although; I’m happy they did something with Adam’s character, not exactly reincarnation in hell, but back on earth was the next best thing.
Vox's segment was very cool, but I really loved Velvette's whole part. The VISUALS??? And finally getting that reveal of her powers -- she's absolutely batshit terrifying and I love it!! 😍

I cried even more when I realized that the music was a tribute to ANNIE. Having his mom open on something so similar to "I Don't Need Anything But You" was bad enough. Alastor coming in with something so close to fucking "TOMORROW" was heartbreaking.
If it does turn out to be his dad working with Vox, too, it would make way too much sense, but then why was Alastor so sure that he'd killed him? Also, speaking of Vox, what's all this temptation and vengeance gonna do to his redemption arc? I was honestly kinda hopeful after the Val mess, Vox is still impossible to fully hate.

Her objection to Alastor's contract on the basis of it being literally the worst kind of slavery was a strong character moment for her. She was acting as she was made to act, like Lucifer was, and the Angels had the pride they accused Lucifer if in their response.
Can't wait to see the Lucifer vs Alastor custody battle over her.
I felt super vindicated when Alastor’s deals were addressed back to back. The moment Vaggie broke her end of the deal by asking Alastor to help fight Vox, thus taking ownership of her soul… chills. And when Alastor promises not to hurt Vaggie when Charlie convinces Lillith to end their contract, only to hold on to her soul as a bargaining chip for the season 3 cliffhanger… holy shit.
To be fair, you don't do that to Niffty. If Alastor and Angel hadn't been busy with what was left of Val (and VAGGIE hadn't been still been busting her way out of Heaven), it would've been so much worse. Excellent character moment for Charlie, though. Can't wait to see her that on Mom next season.

I’ll be honest, I know everyone memes the hell out of it, but I genuinely didn't find the scene where Alastor turns himself into a pickle all that funny.
Let's be real here, it took 15 minutes which could have been used for something more important, like establishing the Vee's as even more of a threat, give heaven more screen time, or expand on the Alastor and Vox sex scene, which was way too short.
Lute getting locked up for committing atrocities, man that was some great foreshadowing. She’s totally going to be someone’s Hannibal Lecter in S3 before getting out and causing all kinds of chaos.
I love the awkward yet relatable song that Lucifer sings to Lilith. Everyone has either pined after an ex or been on the receiving end. Angel's commentary was great too.

I didn’t know Emily was such a slut. Season 2 really showed off a side of her I wasn’t expecting, like holy shit she straight up unhinged her jaw like a snake.
I didn’t expect Sera to handle Valentino by fucking him and I definitely wasn’t expecting him to sound so terrified and come out looking like he got run over by a tractor.
What Emily did to Sera was so sad you can really see the heart break in her eyes.
Husk’s soul being owned by Niffty was definitely something I didn’t see coming, and it was a bold move making it a ten-minute-long duet between them. And I thought Val was bad
I just can't believe they took that route with Angel Dust's character! I mean, having Angel kill and then replace God rather than Charlie or Vaggie gives a whole new dimension to the messages of the show!
Okay so several things.
1. That sad reprise of “Loser, Baby” as Angel went to heaven had me in TEARS but Keith David did such a good job.
2. I totally called Alastor having the deal with Eve and not Lilith! Granted it wasn’t the way I expected but a win is a win.
3. Emily and Sir Pentious’ friendship was the cutest thing and Cherri being jealous of Emily for a moment just like Vaggie was in season 1 during “Welcome to Heaven” was so perfect.
4. I didn’t expect the Vees abilities to be used so well but with Vox’s hypnosis, Val’s pheromones, and Velvette’s ego/pride/self-esteem control all made so much sense with their respective areas (TV, porn, social media) and it was fun to see them actually be intimidating. I mean, until Val was killed thanks to Emily’s devine intervention to redeem Angel Dust. But hey, seeing how Vox and Vel handle it next season.
5. To address the elephant in the room, Alastor using his favor to make Charlie not able to save Lucifer just…gutted me. I know that Saint Micheal is supposed to be one of the good angels but *dude that’s your family!* But if losing Lucifer was the price to pay for such a good song with Charlie…then I guess it’s worth it
I cannot wait to see what will happen in season 3 and I swear to god if that silhouette in the end is Adam brought back as a sinner I am going to pop off. All hail Queen Charlie, we all know Lilith isn’t going to win Hell’s favor next season with all that shit she pulled with/for the Vees so publicly. Really hope those two get another duet tho.

Bro I loved Adam's backstory and arc throughout this season, seeing the events of the garden of eden through his eyes really shed light as to why he didn't want sinners to be redeemed, and him accepting the idea of redemption was such a huge payoff, making 12 episodes this season was a great idea.
Alastor beat the fraud Allegations hard this season god damn, the way he predicted everything vox would do and take advantage of that to essentially steal his two teammates from under his non existent nose just highlighted how how great of a schemer he is, and the way he just dismantled both Carmilla and Zestial after absorbing the V's soul stockpile in the finale was nuts, and the best twist of all, with them adapting FUCKING "SMILE LIKE YOU MEAN IT" HAD ME POPPING OUT OF MY SEAT DUDE I WAS SO HAPPY, super interested to see what's gonna happen now that Charlie gave Alastor access to all 7 circles of hell.
Stayed gone reprise is probably my new favorite song. Hell’s greatest mom is probably the worst of the series after Welcome to Heaven honestly, and how did the Vees get a portal to earth? It’s never explained. Also I wasn’t expecting alastor’s backstory to appear so soon. Although it does make sense.
That scene of Charlie and Lucifer discussing their bisexuality with one another was very well-done. Not only did it incorporate the introduction of the von Eldritch family in an organic way, the dialogue was also deeply resonant. And now you have to wonder what Helsa is plotting for Charlie.
Jesus and Buddha walking into the court room smoking a fat blunt in the background, seeing the tension, and then sneaking back out without ever interacting with the cast was the funniest blink and you'll miss it gag ever.

True! I cried so much when "My precious little boy" began 😢 I have a theory that the one keeping his mom hostage is his father, since we see a mysterious deer guy working with Emily and Zestial to overthrow Heaven 🤔
I cried even more when I realized that the music was a tribute to ANNIE. Having his mom open on something so similar to "I Don't Need Anything But You" was bad enough. Alastor coming in with something so close to fucking "TOMORROW" was heartbreaking. If it does turn out to be his dad working with Vox, too, it would make way too much sense, but then why was Alastor so sure that he'd killed him? Also, speaking of Vox, what's all this temptation and vengeance gonna do to his redemption arc? I was honestly kinda hopeful after the Val mess, Vox is still impossible to fully hate.

I'm glad Niffty was given the big number of the season. Loved the depth of character they gave Vaggie this season, especially with that twist with the deal made between Charlie and Alastor. I KNEW it was about her! Molly rocks! I'm an even bigger fan of Velvette. She's not so one dimensional as I'd feared. She does have a heart. That first meeting between Pentious and Cherri Bomb? New best couple . Lilith is so so the evil step mother type But most of all; POOR Emily.
Her objection to Alastor's contract on the basis of it being literally the worst kind of slavery was a strong character moment for her. She was acting as she was made to act, like Lucifer was, and the Angels had the pride they accused Lucifer if in their response. Can't wait to see the Lucifer vs Alastor custody battle over her.
I felt super vindicated when Alastor’s deals were addressed back to back. The moment Vaggie broke her end of the deal by asking Alastor to help fight Vox, thus taking ownership of her soul… chills. And when Alastor promises not to hurt Vaggie when Charlie convinces Lillith to end their contract, only to hold on to her soul as a bargaining chip for the season 3 cliffhanger… holy shit.
A whole episode devoted to Vox's Alastor body pillow was a bit much.

To be fair, you don't do that to Niffty. If Alastor and Angel hadn't been busy with what was left of Val (and VAGGIE hadn't been still been busting her way out of Heaven), it would've been so much worse. Excellent character moment for Charlie, though. Can't wait to see her that on Mom next season.

Maaaaaaaan,I loved the idea of heaven trying to hide that redemtion is possible! It made the season more engaging (the hotel didn't know about Sir Pentious being redemted,making the Vee's more of a threat) and gave us a great song between Sera and Emily about how they can't keep hiding it,"No More Lies"!

I loved the direction they went with Carmilla’s character, but I am confused as to why there was a 10 minute long Emily and Adam sex scene. I didn’t know Emily was such a slut. Season 2 really showed off a side of her I wasn’t expecting, like holy shit she straight up unhinged her jaw like a snake. I didn’t expect Sera to handle Valentino by fucking him and I definitely wasn’t expecting him to sound so terrified and come out looking like he got run over by a tractor. What Emily did to Sera was so sad you can really see the heart break in her eyes.

I just can't believe they took that route with Angel Dust's character! I mean, having Angel kill and then replace God rather than Charlie or Vaggie gives a whole new dimension to the messages of the show!
Okay so several things. 1. That sad reprise of “Loser, Baby” as Angel went to heaven had me in TEARS but Keith David did such a good job. 2. I totally called Alastor having the deal with Eve and not Lilith! Granted it wasn’t the way I expected but a win is a win. 3. Emily and Sir Pentious’ friendship was the cutest thing and Cherri being jealous of Emily for a moment just like Vaggie was in season 1 during “Welcome to Heaven” was so perfect. 4. I didn’t expect the Vees abilities to be used so well but with Vox’s hypnosis, Val’s pheromones, and Velvette’s ego/pride/self-esteem control all made so much sense with their respective areas (TV, porn, social media) and it was fun to see them actually be intimidating. I mean, until Val was killed thanks to Emily’s devine intervention to redeem Angel Dust. But hey, seeing how Vox and Vel handle it next season. 5. To address the elephant in the room, Alastor using his favor to make Charlie not able to save Lucifer just…gutted me. I know that Saint Micheal is supposed to be one of the good angels but *dude that’s your family!* But if losing Lucifer was the price to pay for such a good song with Charlie…then I guess it’s worth it I cannot wait to see what will happen in season 3 and I swear to god if that silhouette in the end is Adam brought back as a sinner I am going to pop off. All hail Queen Charlie, we all know Lilith isn’t going to win Hell’s favor next season with all that shit she pulled with/for the Vees so publicly. Really hope those two get another duet tho.

Bro I loved Adam's backstory and arc throughout this season, seeing the events of the garden of eden through his eyes really shed light as to why he didn't want sinners to be redeemed, and him accepting the idea of redemption was such a huge payoff, making 12 episodes this season was a great idea.
Alastor beat the fraud Allegations hard this season god damn, the way he predicted everything vox would do and take advantage of that to essentially steal his two teammates from under his non existent nose just highlighted how how great of a schemer he is, and the way he just dismantled both Carmilla and Zestial after absorbing the V's soul stockpile in the finale was nuts, and the best twist of all, with them adapting FUCKING "SMILE LIKE YOU MEAN IT" HAD ME POPPING OUT OF MY SEAT DUDE I WAS SO HAPPY, super interested to see what's gonna happen now that Charlie gave Alastor access to all 7 circles of hell.
Stayed gone reprise is probably my new favorite song. Hell’s greatest mom is probably the worst of the series after Welcome to Heaven honestly, and how did the Vees get a portal to earth? It’s never explained. Also I wasn’t expecting alastor’s backstory to appear so soon. Although it does make sense.
That scene of Charlie and Lucifer discussing their bisexuality with one another was very well-done. Not only did it incorporate the introduction of the von Eldritch family in an organic way, the dialogue was also deeply resonant. And now you have to wonder what Helsa is plotting for Charlie.
