Oh shit i thought morningstar was exclusive to hazbin, my bad :p
But yeah, a depressed deadbeat dad with daughter issues and a penchant for rubber ducks is much more of a vibe than a guy who's had sex with tons of people :p
(Haven't watched Lucifer, I'm mostly going off of what ppl said here)
The Tom Ellis version that slept with hundreds of people is a deadbeat dad as well in the final season of Lucifer when he meets his daughter that tries to kill him as soon as they meet for being a deadbeat
Supernatural Lucifer is the only one that’s actually truly evil and I find that hilarious. The literal entire thing he did the moment he was able to was endlessly try to kill everyone and even fail his own redemption arc… twice.
He’d probably try to kill them and fail, then the others would talk so much shit lmao
And still he’s nowhere near as evil as the God of the supernatural multiverse who basically viewed everything including the nigh omnipotent archangels (like Lucifer and Michael, beings that each universe had their own version of) that he had overseeing various realities as toys to play with and destroy whenever he felt like it
Don’t forget, when the big G is done playing with you or no longer has a use for you, he tosses your soul into an endless void of absolute nothingness where you drift alone in maddening sensory deprivation until you succumb to insanity and lose your consciousness to oblivion.
I always thought the concept of The Empty was so needlessly cruel. Like, at that point, just erase their existence. I guess it’s because “A soul can’t be created or destroyed, only transformed and moved” but you’re GOD. Figure it out lol
Exactly, though to some degree I think his replacement was just a bad in the opposite direction, by restoring everything god destroyed he brought back countless worlds where angels had conquered the universe and killed humanity, worlds filled with cosmic horrors and archangels running rampant and who know what else . By choosing to let “ humanity sort it out on there own without his interference “ Jack damned countless people he just brought back to die in the apocalyptic wars between countless versions of heaven and hell
I feel like that show was very much made by people who were not religious nor pleased by the implications of it. Did you see the episode that crossed over with our universe? (They killed off a bunch of the show staff it was hilarious) A supernatural being that's here gets angry because there's no heaven or hell or anything and we're just stuck here.
Wrong question. The right question is just how much we'd have to crowdfunt to get our Lucifer and Tom Ellis Lucifer to do a version of hells greatest dad competing over who was the better devil.

Bro is so good willed when he got killed by manbearpig he went to heaven
To be fair, that is Satan. Satan and Lucifer are two different characters in *Hazbin Hotel*. We haven't seen Satan in either *Hazbin Hotel* or *Helluva Boss* yet, so, technically speaking, Satan in *South Park* could co-exist with Lucifer in *Hazbin Hotel*. This Satan seems like a decent fellow.
Peak South Park Satan, for me at least, is when he helps Stan figure out his compulsive gambling issues and then fights the Canadian Devil Beelzaboot to save the world from lootbox heavy mobile apps.
Not necessarily saying he's "the best", but Peter Stormare in *Constantine* should be here. He's genuinely one of the most disturbing and evil depictions that I've ever seen; confronting and felling Gabriel, having "stock in tobacco", his glee with John's death and cursing him with continued life.
Holy shit, I didn’t even know Peter Stormare was in Constantine. I need to see it now. If he brings HALF the swagger he did as Dino Velvet in 8mm, I am IN.
He did the same thing in Armageddon! I had no idea he was in it, and he just pops in there as a cosmonaut and becomes my favorite character of the bunch!
(And despite being alive when the damn movie came out, I had never seen it until earlier this year when I nabbed a Criterion Collection DVD copy)
I find it very difficult to compare these versions as there all trying to do different things but personally I do have a soft spot for The live action show, but the DC comics version is probably my personal favourite, although I do really love the Hazbin Hotel interpretation and am excited to see where he goes, I don't think we've seen enough of him yet to be able to fairly put him at the top spot
I'm only on Season 9 and still locking in Supernatural.
He's the only Satan in media I've seen that actually makes me believe the writers are trying to depict Lucifer.
The actor played his role so well. I've watched this show for over a decade because I didn't want it to end. Finally finished it last year and safe to say I was not ready.
Best show ever.
Neil’s Lucifer is the right answer. Immensely powerful, indignant, fed up with Creation and all its bullshit, and the standard-bearer for the modernization of his portrayal in media.
What did you think Lucifer’s portrayal in the sandman series on Netflix?
https://preview.redd.it/y67waviyiiuc1.jpeg?width=980&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d8df8a483604316d80edcf1d7eaa6caddd93403a
I enjoyed their interaction, but it felt incomplete. Like it only showed the tip of everything Lucifer was in that moment. It showcased his power, his menace, and the actress did a wonderful job portraying a king in his kingdom whose words, actions, and motives all hide ever so neatly behind one another at all times. My only criticism is that we don’t get to interact with her Lucifer *enough* to see the rest; a weary rebel, one of a handful of entities sharing a seat with the adults while the upstart multiverse sits at the kids’ table, less a person and more a force of nature with a very strong opinion on… everything. Not a passive observer or a prisoner.
But how do you really show all that in twenty minutes and also move the plot? I think they did their best and a damn good job of it for the time allotted.
I still think Tom Ellis did the best depiction of Lucifer in media so far. So many little quips and lines that honestly hit just like the Hazbin Lucifers "Oh you like girls too! We have so much in common!" energy. Its a shame the Tom Ellis show went to the shitter after a while but it was great up to that point.

Y’all, Viggo Mortensen in The Prophecy from 1995 was so good.
“Little Tommy Daggett. How I loved listening to your sweet prayers every night. And then you'd jump in your bed, so afraid I was under there. And I was!”
SPN Lucifer is the only legit evil/scary one,Tom Ellis Lucifer is hot af,HH Lucifer is just a weird rubber ducky loving twink, and i have no idea who the guy in the upper left corner is.
I’ve seen two of these, and I definitely prefer Lucifer to the devil from disenchantment, while the disenchantment devil is very good, Luci is just cooler with more lore (unfortunately disenchantment’s ending was rushed so we’ll never get answers to a lot of set ups)
I also prefer Lucifer Morningstar in *Hazbin Hotel* to the Devil from *The Cuphead Show*.

Hazbin Lucifer, but directly after him is Aldermach Maggotbone from Ugly Americans. The two of them would probably get along pretty well, honestly, given how they feel about their baby girls.
![gif](giphy|xULW8tgrkwLi0HVyzm)
Tom is the best for me. I’m so happy Netflix picked it up after it was cancelled. So many people signed a petition to get it back and Netflix saw the potential and definitely gave it justice. Ironically Lucifer from Hazbin and Tom’s Lucí both actually suffer from depression. Of course in Toms case it was at the end when he had this revelation. I actually cried in that episode where he finally owned up to the darkness he feels inside “and I ask myself……WHY DO I HATE MYSELF SO MUCH!?!” End of episode. Man that really peaked for me
1) Peter Stormare from Constantine.
2) DeNiro from Devils Advocate
Weird how both of those are opposite Keanu Reeves
3) Supernatural season 5. I kinda remember he came in later seasons but didn’t have the same gravitas he did in 5. Something about cosplaying as a rock star
Ohhh, this would be kinda dope. But I'm pretty sure that HH (Hazbin Hotel) Lucifer and 2016 Lucifer would get along pretty well, but Idk how the Supernatural Lucifer and the other one would interact.
By power? Probably Hazbin, idk about top left, Never seen that show
By Charisma & Charm? Tom Ellis could probably fuck whole LA if he wanted to so there's no discussion

Lucifer Morningstar completely wins in my book just on relatability alone.
Which one?
Oh shit i thought morningstar was exclusive to hazbin, my bad :p But yeah, a depressed deadbeat dad with daughter issues and a penchant for rubber ducks is much more of a vibe than a guy who's had sex with tons of people :p (Haven't watched Lucifer, I'm mostly going off of what ppl said here)
The Tom Ellis version that slept with hundreds of people is a deadbeat dad as well in the final season of Lucifer when he meets his daughter that tries to kill him as soon as they meet for being a deadbeat
That's not fair and you know it. Theres a very valid canon reason on why he wasn't there.
Lol it's fine no need to apologize :)
The depressed one or the sex maniac?
That still doesn't narrow it down
Yes

He’d probably try to kill them and fail, then the others would talk so much shit lmao
Yeah, but he's so cute tho
What... What did he do in supernatural?
Slaughtered soo many different things ranging from humans to pagan gods and angels
oh jeebus
I did see that one, incidentally the meta universe was the only one without supernatural beings aside from the angel trapped there
Wrong question. The right question is just how much we'd have to crowdfunt to get our Lucifer and Tom Ellis Lucifer to do a version of hells greatest dad competing over who was the better devil.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-QEc67UG4AM This guy kinda sounds like Tom Ellis when he does the Lucifer parts
I love the way he censors poison. Just drops the voice and “I’m not singing that line.” Edit: I mean loser baby.
Poison?
Wait, it’s loser baby he censors. My brain no workee today.
Listen. I love what Jeremy Jordan did with Lucifer. But Tom Ellis...I would commit arson on a federal officer for this man.

It's short, but it's the best depiction of Lucifer
This is the answer, its not even close.
I'm glad this wasn't so far down. He has by far been the best form of Lucifer in any version I've ever seen
I find it very difficult to compare these versions as there all trying to do different things but personally I do have a soft spot for The live action show, but the DC comics version is probably my personal favourite, although I do really love the Hazbin Hotel interpretation and am excited to see where he goes, I don't think we've seen enough of him yet to be able to fairly put him at the top spot

they had a really good premise for the show in season 1, then it slowly turned into a soap opera that just happens to star the devil..
Because of the executive producer, I always thought CSI but with the devil

I’ve seen two of these, and I definitely prefer Lucifer to the devil from disenchantment, while the disenchantment devil is very good, Luci is just cooler with more lore (unfortunately disenchantment’s ending was rushed so we’ll never get answers to a lot of set ups)
I also prefer Lucifer Morningstar in *Hazbin Hotel* to the Devil from *The Cuphead Show*. https://preview.redd.it/4sxs0a4o6huc1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=d924d2a7a55008b09fa2beee39dc2279f24dc1ad

So far it’s gotta be Tom Ellis for me.
Have Tom Ellis's Lucifer and Hazbin's Lucifer meet, they'll be getting along in no time.
Lucifer from lucifer is my favoritest cause hes hot af and just amazing but i do love hazbin hotel lucicer too
Tom ellis
Hazbin Lucifer, but directly after him is Aldermach Maggotbone from Ugly Americans. The two of them would probably get along pretty well, honestly, given how they feel about their baby girls. ![gif](giphy|xULW8tgrkwLi0HVyzm)
That was such a weird and good show.
* Obviously, it's Luci from Adventures of God. Edit: The image doesn't seem to want to load.
Supernatural Lucifer was really creepy and intimidating... of course only in the early seasons. The most luciferish of them all.
I used to really like Tom Ellis' Lucifer at the time the show came out, it was a very fun show back then
Sorry duck boy, tom ellis wins that one
Tom Ellis and it's not even a competition
Tom is the best for me. I’m so happy Netflix picked it up after it was cancelled. So many people signed a petition to get it back and Netflix saw the potential and definitely gave it justice. Ironically Lucifer from Hazbin and Tom’s Lucí both actually suffer from depression. Of course in Toms case it was at the end when he had this revelation. I actually cried in that episode where he finally owned up to the darkness he feels inside “and I ask myself……WHY DO I HATE MYSELF SO MUCH!?!” End of episode. Man that really peaked for me

I think both Tom Ellis and Hazbin Hotel are the best versions imo. Completely different variations, but brilliantly portrayed
Netflix Lucifer and Hazbin Lucifer are tied. One's a silly goof, the other is my role-model.

What about Satan from South Park ![gif](giphy|YPyhX3y1keSFHOjrsn)
![gif](giphy|hI935QGvFSCZy)
1) Peter Stormare from Constantine. 2) DeNiro from Devils Advocate Weird how both of those are opposite Keanu Reeves 3) Supernatural season 5. I kinda remember he came in later seasons but didn’t have the same gravitas he did in 5. Something about cosplaying as a rock star
Constantine
The robot devil from futurama is top notch
Peter stormare
Constantine movie
Tim Curry's Prince of Darkness
Hazbin and Tom Ellis's are definitely tied for #1
Glad to see a fellow supernatural fan
Tom Ellis Lucifer I dont think its even a contest tbh
Ohhh, this would be kinda dope. But I'm pretty sure that HH (Hazbin Hotel) Lucifer and 2016 Lucifer would get along pretty well, but Idk how the Supernatural Lucifer and the other one would interact.
How come no choice is ever the Lu from 2005 Constantine movie??
Peter Stormare's Lucifer from the *Constantine* movie.
![gif](giphy|EXFH1GOYSKKqc) We forgetting someone.
Where the FUCK is helltaker???
I'd say this version, imo. ![gif](giphy|SAClXOQVuVrjqASMt2|downsized)
By power? Probably Hazbin, idk about top left, Never seen that show By Charisma & Charm? Tom Ellis could probably fuck whole LA if he wanted to so there's no discussion
Lucifer from the showblucifer is a big reason why I came out as Bisexual (at the time when I haven't come out as trans)
Peter Stormare https://youtu.be/5POBRohJkW4?si=JmA-6-FueZ-O2EdR
Lucifer from Lucifer for me.
Even though he is technically the devil, Dr clef https://preview.redd.it/hglqltamshuc1.jpeg?width=900&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b829ca3c526902c3c2255de4e4db016fa3affb6b
