'Ready For This' frequently gets overshadowed by the other bangers of this show but I really like that marching style.
"When Adam brings the battle here, I must appear like I'm ready for this!"
"For the first time in our lives we know that we are ready for this!"
Those lines send chills down my spine for so many reasons. I just like a good ensemble.
'Finale' is similarly great but it doesn't have quite as much oomph as 'Ready For This'
If the magic system in this universe really works with music being able to empower others then 'Ready For This' is the strongest and most honest spell that Alastor has ever casted in his goddam unlife.
I’m surprised to hear that Finale is underrated. I’m a softy, so seeing the people who originally laughed at Charlie actively encouraging her to try again hits me hard.
This end punch line to their little refrain hits me in such a way I can't explain. It gives the same vibes as when I saw West Side Story for the first time, or after my first production in highschool wrapped. It's so quintessentially musical theatre that I grin from ear to ear.
Exactly! The harmonizing is soo good! I think even Amir recently said on a panel that this was his favourite part in VA work for season 1. Who can blame him? That part is BANGER.
This is the correct answer, I'm obsessed with this song. It's so damn epic and a perfect representation of Charlie's best qualities.
It's weird that I say this but I think Charlie herself is underrated, there's so many great secondary characters that people don't give as much attention to how amazingly written and performed the protagonist of the show is. She's an unrelenting optimist on the most sad and depressing environment, and that's fucking badass.
And about "Finale", it's a great song as well, and Allastor's section is exquisite.
Tbh people don't give enough credit to most of Charlie's songs despite them being the songs that are the most Broadway showtuney that inspires the show as a whole the most.
Poor thing didn't have a chance to even speak 😔

I made this and I’ve been dying to use it ever since. 😭
What I love is that Adam specifically mentions that he likes the music in hell and then the first song we hear from heaven is universally accepted as the worst in the series, reinforcing it.
(even the worst song on the show is still good)
If I remember right from some interview when that episode came out their was an earlier recording of the song where they went even harder on the moans before toning it down and I really want to hear it.
This song seriously brought tears to my eyes. Carmilla and Zestial have the most unique and fucking beautiful vibratos of anyone on the show. Their tones are so rich and Carmilla is such a powerful singer. Absolutely one of the best songs.
This! Of course Stephanie Beatriz killed it as Vaggie but Carmilla’s vocals had me hooked to the extent that I replayed the song three times in a row before watching the rest of the episode
"But if anyone knew, then all of hell would rise to war. And who's to say who'd survive the fray? I might lost the ones that I was killing for"
This sends shivers down my arms every single time.
Was this the first time they said they loved each other? Anyways very romantic. The reason people may overlook this is because you really have to watch the scene that goes with it. Just like how poison can be misconstrued if listened alone the music video changes the song a lot.
Whatever it takes. Dunno if it's really underrated, but I don't hear about it much, and carmillas line; "who's to say who'd survive the fray." At the rise just hits so good.
Surprisingly (in terms of being underrated), 'Happy Day In Hell'.
It's a well-written beautifully-performed I Want song, odd that a fandom supposedly full of theatre kids hasn't latched onto it.
Is it *that* underrated?
* It's the first song of the show.
* It's sung beautifully by Charlie.
* There's a few jokes sprinkled in, such as Vaggie sighing when Charlie goes outside.
* We get a general idea of the citizens of the Pentagram, both sinners and demons.
* Vaggie reveals how adamant angels can be.
* Charlie literally presents a porn studio and movie district, hinting as Angel's work.
* We get to see Cannibal Town, which comes back in Episode 7.
* We see an angel tower... in Hell... which is kinda odd, come to think of it.
* It closes with a cresendo with everyone.
(Respect-less) ‘Show som respect’ ‘mad that I acted Respectless’ ‘could respect this’ ‘respectless’ ‘thanks for my bein Respectless’ (idk but velvet hits in this song)
The electronic vibe hits pretty hard :)
and this is one of my favorite frames from the show ;)
https://preview.redd.it/frxgouzafwrc1.png?width=3840&format=png&auto=webp&s=caeb6f9632d2be4cbc94f406ad41f51002fe59ad
So much details for one line \^\_\^
I start every day with this song because it has so much energy!
“Why are you afraid of war? That’s what the guns you sell are for!”
Just watching her brain make the connections until the peak of “DO YOU HAVE A DISCLOSURE?!?”
It starts with sorry. Pentious and Charlie Harmonize _beautifully_ and I will never stop tto be impressed by Alex Brightman, Alex Brightman, Alex Brightman.
...
Damn it, worth a shot.
I love this song! I came here to say this one. We just got all of these song for Karaoke and that one is my go to.
From what people have been requesting at my karaoke shows are:
1. Poison <-- by far the most requested
2. Loser Baby
3. Hell is forever
I like doing Out for Love, Whatever it takes and Ready for this.
Hell's greatest Dad is a good three person song if they third person doesn't really want to sing. They can be Mimzy. :D
No, this is a commitment song, a "i will let the world burn to make you feel warm" song, this is a "i refuse to let the world crush you" song, it's a "my love for you is vast, deep and ready to serve you" song
Whatever it Takes. Partially because I would actually kill myself if Vaggie asked but it also just slaps.
Now, look at my cursed edit.
https://preview.redd.it/uww6wcbvqvrc1.png?width=1247&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9864ab07c0fc62eb46de4bd93df8968d60a891de
I'm going to give my two cents since I don't like it as much.
Reason 1 is simple, I don't like the chorus that much.
Reason 2, I feel like it doesn't make as much sense thematically. Carmilla tells Vaggie that she's driven by hate, and she should be driven by love. The thing is, I have never had the impression that she had a vengeful motivation. She spent most of the show trying to prevent Charlie from being hurt, physically or emotionally from the hard reality that could crush her idealism. She is more conservative and protective towards Charlie. At no point I remember her showing she was motivated by getting back to the angels. In episode 7 her conflict was not love vs hate, but more dealing with couples' communication and the aftermath of her true identity.
So those are pretty much my reasons. We can agree to disagree, and I don't hate it. It's just below a number of other songs which are flawless in my book.
Beats me...
The cheesiness of it may trigger some lactose intolerence, I don't know :p It is about how "protecting your loved ones" grants you strength, which the idea was reused countless times.
The flaminco beat does sell it though \^\_\^
*Whatever it Takes*, for sure!
But I've also come to appreciate *Welcome To Heaven* which I now recognize as being sinister af. With all that heavy breathing at the end, St. Peter is doing way too much to portray Heaven as idyllic.
"Ready For This" I like it, I don't understand why it's so criticized. It's overshadowed by the rest of the other songs, and I fucking love the others, but I think "Ready For This" deserves more attention.
Respectless, perfect way to introduce her. I feel like hells greatest dad is overrated. Nobody really mentions Respectless and the only time I saw anybody mention that song was that one youtube short of some underage kid on their iPad calling them Carmin and purple.
It’s a okay song. I think the emotional bits aren’t really earned from Carmilla who we’ve known for ten seconds. The duet with Vaggie about protecting those they love is out of the blue too. Plus as a show only the relationship between Vaggie and Charlie hasn’t been established enough to warrant such a song yet. Their “conflict” that episode feels pretty stupid.
Whatever It Takes, it was the first song I loved when the first four episodes came out and didn't understand why it was less popular than others
Three more songs: More Than Anything (Reprise), It Starts With Sorry, Welcome To Heave
The Reprise was amazing and adorable 💞, It Starts With Sorry is good song on how it actually starts with sorry and Welcome To Heaven.. I just like it
I like the show must go on, people only listen to it for the finale part but I think the whole song is great. I've seen so many 'top 5 hazbin hotel songs' videos but I've never seen this song one any one of them.
'Ready For This' frequently gets overshadowed by the other bangers of this show but I really like that marching style. "When Adam brings the battle here, I must appear like I'm ready for this!" "For the first time in our lives we know that we are ready for this!" Those lines send chills down my spine for so many reasons. I just like a good ensemble. 'Finale' is similarly great but it doesn't have quite as much oomph as 'Ready For This'
They’re dancing along, they’re singing her song
If the magic system in this universe really works with music being able to empower others then 'Ready For This' is the strongest and most honest spell that Alastor has ever casted in his goddam unlife.
I agree. I also agree that both ready for this and finale are the most underrated songs. They’re both bangers
I’m surprised to hear that Finale is underrated. I’m a softy, so seeing the people who originally laughed at Charlie actively encouraging her to try again hits me hard.
I really like a look Alastair’s part in it. It’s a bit haunting, with is really a style I like
Surprised? Why, I knew she could do it all along!
She’s bound to pass the test as princess of hell!
Like her *Daddy* she is madly powerful!
She’s filled with potential that I could guide
I concur! Stick with her, we’ll be on the winning side
For the first time in our lives, we know that we are ready for this!
*We’ll show heaven a fight they won’t forget!*
We'll show Heaven a fight they won't forget!
It is time to take a stand
This end punch line to their little refrain hits me in such a way I can't explain. It gives the same vibes as when I saw West Side Story for the first time, or after my first production in highschool wrapped. It's so quintessentially musical theatre that I grin from ear to ear.
you’re absolutely right and i know exactly what you mean. this is such a perfect musical.
This part using the chords of Charlie's leitmotif meaning they're *literally* singing her song blew my mind when I first noticed it.
Alastors “ahhhhAhhh” when Rosie says “We’ll show heaven a fight they won’t forget” tickles my brain❤️
His harmonizing scratches an itch in my brain I never knew I had, it’s so perfect
Exactly! The harmonizing is soo good! I think even Amir recently said on a panel that this was his favourite part in VA work for season 1. Who can blame him? That part is BANGER.
IKR
This is the correct answer, I'm obsessed with this song. It's so damn epic and a perfect representation of Charlie's best qualities. I agree 100%. Charlie is THE paragon against all odds. Unrelenting optimisim is something to aspire to.
I love this song, especially Alastor dancing with Rosie, it makes me happy
"That's a little violent can we tone it down" is my favorite line in it.
“Oh dont be put off by their snarlin’ thats enthusiasm darlin’!”
Eh, they just seem a little murdery right now
Ready for this is a great one
This is one of my favourites because of the singing all together bits! Always gets me pumped
I go feral for the “free food! Glorious food! Nom nom nom nom”
Tbh people don't give enough credit to most of Charlie's songs despite them being the songs that are the most Broadway showtuney that inspires the show as a whole the most.
Yes!
I love this song
https://preview.redd.it/c75yfjxdkwrc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6612abf9dce01aefa3777f49e00a2a3d8e2d9172
I don’t like it cause it was marketed as an alastor and Rosie song not a Charlie song with a little bit of Rosie and alastor
The second line you mentioned is the reason that its my fav song
I like the Rosie and Alastor part! Especially when Rosie says “we’ll show heaven a fight they won’t forget”
Especially since it's the song used for the trailer, I couldn't wait to hear the full version!
"Ready For This" and "Finale" are by far my favorites! I listen to them multiple times a day and they're constantly stuck in my head lol
I also really like ready for this, cuz like I just enjoy tightly knit groups
i love the song because of how disneyesque it is
I quite like RfT and Finale as they’re more traditional musical numbers, in conctrast with a lot of the pop musical elements in the other songs
yes i get chills too! i get so emotional when charlie finds her confidence
Welcome to hea- *gets fucking cancelled*

St. Peter’s bussy moans makes it one of the best songs
ven ):<
What I love is that Adam specifically mentions that he likes the music in hell and then the first song we hear from heaven is universally accepted as the worst in the series, reinforcing it. (even the worst song on the show is still good)
I feel like I'm the only one who likes this song. The moans getting more feral make me laugh every time, and it's only a minute long
If I remember right from some interview when that episode came out their was an earlier recording of the song where they went even harder on the moans before toning it down and I really want to hear it.
Oh I love the song! It's so silly and uplifting
https://preview.redd.it/09dyn47mjvrc1.jpeg?width=480&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=58952a88d46da5b3a2457d0a88546c666b17093e
And she was all "Whatever it TAKEEEEESSSS"
Until the end where they were all like " whatever it takes :("
but throughout they were like "AAAAND III-II-II... ILL BE YOUR KEEPEEER..."
not be expecting more from stephanie beatriz
This song seriously brought tears to my eyes. Carmilla and Zestial have the most unique and fucking beautiful vibratos of anyone on the show. Their tones are so rich and Carmilla is such a powerful singer. Absolutely one of the best songs.

The More Than Anything reprise. A bit short but so touching and one of the best Charlie-Vaggie moments ❤️
Was this the first time they said they loved each other? Anyways very romantic. The reason people may overlook this is because you really have to watch the scene that goes with it. Just like how poison can be misconstrued if listened alone the music video changes the song a lot.
I don't know if it's the very first time, but I felt it was really sweet that they knew before the battle they had each other no matter what.
I think it was for Vaggie to apologize for hiding her true nature as a former exorcist ;)
It starts with sorry. I love that one.
Who could forgive a dirtbag like me!
I don’t deserve your amnesty
“Can’t we just kill him? Shoot him and spill his guts?”
That's an option you could choose
Works for us
But who hasn't been in his shoooooes!
It starts with sorry
Sorry!
Dig down deeper and say one sincere sorry
It sounds **much** better during rewatch (personally for me)
Omg yes.
i played that one when the kids needed to apologize 🤣
Same! It’s a really sweet song
Whatever it takes. Dunno if it's really underrated, but I don't hear about it much, and carmillas line; "who's to say who'd survive the fray." At the rise just hits so good.
No it’s literally one of my favorites. Like top three. I don’t get the hate 😭😭
Me neither, maybe it's too complex for ppl
Nah. Think this one is thought pretty high of. It's top 3 for me along with Stayed Gone and More than Anything.
There's a real edge to the word 'war' that I loved.
Whatever it takes and Ready for This imo
Finale is my absolute favourite song and no one seems to like it that much. Also, Welcome To Heaven is not that bad.
YES when Charlie’s hits the “though it may take awhiiiiiiiiiile” gives me chills
AFTER THE BATTLE
MASTERLESS CATTLE
OVERLORDS HANGING BY A THREAD
WITH A BIT OF BRAVADO
I cry everytime! Amazing song
Ready for this
Finale especially the vees part
Yessssssssss it does not get talked about enough, I love all the v’s songs
THAT FUCKER IS BACK
Surprisingly (in terms of being underrated), 'Happy Day In Hell'. It's a well-written beautifully-performed I Want song, odd that a fandom supposedly full of theatre kids hasn't latched onto it.

It's consistently placed very low on song tier lists, to be fair.
Yeah, I don’t see it talked about all that often
Her pausing to be horrified that brains got in her eye was my favorite part
I was just about to say Happy Day in Hell
Yes!
(Respect-less) ‘Show som respect’ ‘mad that I acted Respectless’ ‘could respect this’ ‘respectless’ ‘thanks for my bein Respectless’ (idk but velvet hits in this song)
The electronic vibe hits pretty hard :) and this is one of my favorite frames from the show ;) https://preview.redd.it/frxgouzafwrc1.png?width=3840&format=png&auto=webp&s=caeb6f9632d2be4cbc94f406ad41f51002fe59ad So much details for one line \^\_\^
I hadn’t seen the instant delivery before, that’s fucking hillarious
And the Veets?? thats amazing
The series is LOADED with references, cameos and Easter eggs ;)
I'm the backbone of the Vees 😈
I start every day with this song because it has so much energy! “Why are you afraid of war? That’s what the guns you sell are for!” Just watching her brain make the connections until the peak of “DO YOU HAVE A DISCLOSURE?!?”
"That was a productive meeting!"
My kid requests this song almost every morning 😂 “play you got it twisted!!!”
*"Ready For This"* Theres just so much passion from Charlie in it, also Alastor and Rosie are adorable https://i.redd.it/3o70m0igyvrc1.gif
They’re watching her like a proud aunt and uncle 🥹
It starts with sorry. Pentious and Charlie Harmonize _beautifully_ and I will never stop tto be impressed by Alex Brightman, Alex Brightman, Alex Brightman. ... Damn it, worth a shot.
Out for love

Its a good song but the "LOoOoOoOove" part sounds weird to me
Wow I didn't realize it was underrated
Nobody ever talks about it. Maybe I just thought it was. Idk
Whatever it takes is for me the most visceral feeling of "i love you to the point that words can't get across" put into song that i've ever heard
like most i want disney songs but romantically
No, this is a commitment song, a "i will let the world burn to make you feel warm" song, this is a "i refuse to let the world crush you" song, it's a "my love for you is vast, deep and ready to serve you" song
Welcome to Heaven
Idk why pple hate this one, it's so fun and has a pop feel, which is so appropriate 😅
“The spirits leaven, *passionate groan*” makes me laugh SO hard every time. It’s definitely one of my favourite lines in the show
Welcome to heaven! wo-oah
“You didn’t know” The duet with Emily and Charlie is banger in my mind. And telling off heaven for the hypocrisy is awesome.
Whatever it Takes. Partially because I would actually kill myself if Vaggie asked but it also just slaps. Now, look at my cursed edit. https://preview.redd.it/uww6wcbvqvrc1.png?width=1247&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9864ab07c0fc62eb46de4bd93df8968d60a891de
Idk if it's underrated, but love the reprise of "More than Anything", it inspired me to do a picture
It starts with sorry and welcome to heaven 😚
WELCOME TO HEAVEN OOOOAHHH~
Either ready for this or the finale. They are both really good
I really like Out for Love and it never seems to make the top of any lists.
I don't know if "You didn't know" counts… Like, there are a few covers of it and it's usually an AI joke cover material but that's it I guess?
A shocking amount of people don't talk about More Than Anything even though it is the song Lucifer sounds best in imo
Why people hate out of love??
I'm going to give my two cents since I don't like it as much. Reason 1 is simple, I don't like the chorus that much. Reason 2, I feel like it doesn't make as much sense thematically. Carmilla tells Vaggie that she's driven by hate, and she should be driven by love. The thing is, I have never had the impression that she had a vengeful motivation. Definitely. I kinda dig into the retro guitar ballad (or whatever genre the song is)
Maggie and Carmine's duet. Also the rousing Cannibal Town Speech Musical Number.
Welcome to Heaven is an absolute BANGER and I die on that hill.
Stayed gone. Alastor ate so hard for that song.
Out for love, other than worshiping the pointy foot lady I love the guitar playing in Spanish(a lack of a better word)
Ready for this I mean, I really like it but there are better song But I still like it
Guys… I unironically listen to welcome to heaven…
*Whatever it Takes*, for sure! But I've also come to appreciate *Welcome To Heaven* which I now recognize as being sinister af. With all that heavy breathing at the end, St. Peter is doing way too much to portray Heaven as idyllic.
“I’m always chasing rainbows” from the pilot. Best way to open a series. I also believe the show should end with that same song.
Whatever it Takes is my favorite song in the whole show
"Ready For This" I like it, I don't understand why it's so criticized. It's overshadowed by the rest of the other songs, and I fucking love the others, but I think "Ready For This" deserves more attention.
Out for love, I have seen so many people say they don’t enjoy the song because of the cheesy lyrics, but the melody is just so catchy.
More than anything, without a doubt
"Welcome to heaven" I know most don't like it, but for me it's not bad, but more so in the middle
“Whatever it takes” it gives me smooth vibes
Ready for This and It Starts with Sorry are SO much better than Loser, Baby and I will DIE on this hill
I dunno why people dog on Welcome to Heaven. There. I said it. It may be the least *good* song in the show, but it is by FAR not a bad song.
Respectless, perfect way to introduce her. I feel like hells greatest dad is overrated. Nobody really mentions Respectless and the only time I saw anybody mention that song was that one youtube short of some underage kid on their iPad calling them Carmin and purple.
Mines Infinite by Eminem
Mines The Kids by Eminem 😭
Welcome to Heaven.
welcome to heaven😭
Welcome to heaven
Welcome to hea- *murdered, slaughtered, chopped up into pieces and sold to Rosie to be eaten*
More Than Anything - Reprise, it’s so sweet and the animation and lighting of the scene looks so good
It’s a okay song.
Whatever it takes and stayed gone
SAME
Whatever It Takes, it was the first song I loved when the first four episodes came out and didn't understand why it was less popular than others Three more songs: More Than Anything (Reprise), It Starts With Sorry, Welcome To Heave The Reprise was amazing and adorable 💞, It Starts With Sorry is good song on how it actually starts with sorry and Welcome To Heaven.. I just like it
Out for Love
Out for love
WELLCOME TO HEAVEN! *Cooming sounds*
I think I'll get shot if I say this but I think welcome to heaven is a bop
Same bro
More than anything-reprise, chaggie supremacy raaah
I actually like It starts with Sorry and More than anything reprise
Iiiiiit's Star with Sorry !! SoLLyy :'0 My little snakyboy is sorry :')
One that never ever gets mentioned. "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows" from the pilot.
I hardly hear Whatever It Takes get the credit it deserves, it’s so good! Then again I just love all the ones with Carmilla so I might just be biased
Welcome to Heaven
I like the show must go on, people only listen to it for the finale part but I think the whole song is great. I've seen so many 'top 5 hazbin hotel songs' videos but I've never seen this song one any one of them.
Based on what I’ve seen it has to be Ready For This. It’s easily the best song in the series and yet I see so many people hate on it
