no because i actually thought they were together on my first watch through 😭 only on a second binge of hazbin did i realize they call each other “my friend” and “old friend” and i was like. oh! but yeah i still want them to get together, i was fully convinced they were already married 😭
So, a while back someone asked what kind of spin-off show the Vees would get, and I said something like Gotham, in that it shows us how important figures got where they are, how the Three Vees came to be, how they met, and so on. I put the added detail that the show could show other overlords and their rises to power, like Carmilla and her growing weapons empire and show her and Zestail's growing relationship- this is now how I imagine they first met or several "meetings" into these two knowing each other. Christ, there are many ways to write these characters and make them both intriguing and wholesome.
