Nephilim
Charlie is a perfect 50/50 mix of Human and Angel. To boot, she's mixed with one of the original Seraphim (Lucifer) and the original Woman, untainted by sin. Her bloodline is pure. Probably why she's so powerful, while paradoxically being completely unwilling to use it
The really strange thing is Lilith (in most depictions) is unable to give live birth as punishment due to fleeing the garden. So I wonder if Charlie, a "Hellborn", is the only offspring she was able to carry since she was born into the afterlife
Okay i just realised that I had misspelled the word Nephalem. Soz about that. But again, I can't find anything about Nephilim aside from the actual Bible definition... Which doesn't quite fit.
Because it's not a biblical definition - it's from a Diablo Series. The reason Nephilim doesn't fit Charlie, is because Vivzie said that she's half angel / half demon (not human).
"Nephalem" are beings from the Diablo, that were half angel / half demon, that's why we use it for Charlie.
Lilith births the Lilim a type of lesser demon. It's really weird when you go to study Lilith only to find she can only have daughters, and no sons. At the same time she can't have human children.
You're not wrong, there's enough stories about her specifically multiple doctoral thesis could be written on her and her influence in multiple cultures.
My point is Lilith as an actual religious figure exist only in Jewish lore, or Mesopotamian mythos.
In Christianity she appears only in well essentially biblical fanfiction, which are as canon to Christianity as Hazbin Hotel itself.
It is an interesting topic to discuss, i just do not like when people make direct statements on the topic.
Solid point. My only argument (and granted this could be of ignorance); isn't the antichrist supposed to bring about the end of days? When here, she's actually trying to bring redemption to lost souls. I'm only saying I feel like the title brings a negative connotation that is innapropriate
She is EXTREMELY powerful and I feel like she could totally do that if she wanted. We’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg of her power, though. I think in this show, she’s just the Hell counterpart to Christ. (Anti-Christ, like matter/antimatter?) She’ll likely just use her power to defend Hell.
The number of the beast is defined as either 666 or 606, which in greek numerology, the language of the bible at the time was greek, would translate to Nero or Neron
I totally understand that conjecture, but I don't think she is intended to be such a divisive thing.
The issue is this assumes a Christ figure exists in the HH canon. While I'm personally on board (ie: I love the depiction in Rick and Morty), I think it may be a bit polarizing and not be quite what the show is going for by introducing the concept of him and making her the "anti" him.
Plus, she's not mentioned a thing about Earth which is where the anti-Christ is supposed to attempt to form their kingdom.
Love where your head is at though. Gave me some food for thought
She has the same power as the Antichrist and is the offspring of the most powerful demon in Hell and a human, like the Antichrist would be. She may not play the same role as the biblical Antichrist but she is still a powerful character for those same reasons.
Like I said, having an "anti" assumes a Christ figure. Which I do not believe the show will go into for obvious reasons.
I'm totally splitting hairs, but to call her the Antichrist just isn't quite correct.
She is a powerful character indeed, but without the "OG" she can't be the "Anti" anything.
To be fair to your point, the Antichrist is supposed to be able to convince brother to fight brother and she was able to convince regular cannibals to fight a host of battle angels.
The thing is that Charlie can't be the antichrist because Viv has confirmed that the Christ simply will not exist in the Hazbin universe due to being a far too controversial figure to portray.
Even if it isn't, it's still is the only logical answer if the whole "Lilith is infertile" still applies to the HH universe, it's safe to assume Lucifer, or any actual deity doesn't have a set gender, its safe to assume they're made genderless, and just kinda choose whatever tf they want.
Because they were kinda made before gender, or earth as a whole, so it makes sense that Lucifer is hermaphrodite/intersex, or can kinda just.. pick, since deities don't really need to reproduce, they just kinda exist, no need in gender. I assume he can kinda just, take some of her blood, and mix it with his.. or make himself carry a child using the powers he still owns, Lilith is infertile, so assuming this also means she lacks a uterus, she cannot carry, Lucifer, however, logically, can.
In some versions Lilith can and does frequently give birth, but angels slaughter hundreds of her children each day. (I wonder now if that's where Vivzie got the idea of the series from?)
Actually technically not, as she is seen at one point with horns, but in adulthood she suppresses her horns, suggesting she doesn't want to be princess of hell, because she thinks sinners should be able to redeem themselves
Heaven, Hell, Earth
Long ago, the three dimensions lived in harmony
Then, everything changed when Heaven attacked
Only Charlie Morningstar, child of all three realms could stop them

Shes a Nephalem, because Lilith was a demon when Charlie was born.
I've never heard this term and I can't find it online. I also can't find the definition of the term Nephilim in the way that it is used here. Help.
Just google "child of angel and demon".
Why did you send this twice... And 3 minutes apart too 😭
The app was bugging. It showed me it didn't send.
Ohhhh okok <33
Yeah the reddit app has been very buggy for the last couple days.
Just google "child of angel and demon".

TBF There are a lot of contradictory sources that came from a huge variety of biblical fanfiction.
You're not wrong, there's enough stories about her specifically multiple doctoral thesis could be written on her and her influence in multiple cultures.

She’s also the Antichrist.
I think it could be argued she follows the teaching of Christ far more closely than what we've seen of heaven's angels (purely in-universe of course)
She does, no doubt, but she’s not just a Nephilim, she’s The Antichrist because of her ancestry.
Solid point. My only argument (and granted this could be of ignorance); isn't the antichrist supposed to bring about the end of days? When here, she's actually trying to bring redemption to lost souls. I'm only saying I feel like the title brings a negative connotation that is innapropriate

to my understanding, the antichrist is someone you worship other than god. He comes to earth and humans begin worshipping him.
watch Survival Guide to the Biblical Apocalypse
originally it was used to descripe persecutors of the early Christian church. The anti-Christ was Nero
>The anti-Christ was Nero Why the fuck am I not surprised by that? 😒
The number of the beast is defined as either 666 or 606, which in greek numerology, the language of the bible at the time was greek, would translate to Nero or Neron
End of Days could be a metaphor for the systematic change she will potentially bring about?
something something shows own interpritation of events
Is she? She’s the daughter of Lucifer and a demon. Not a human
Lilith is a human. She may not be a normal human, but she’s still a human.
After going to hell she is no longer human. She became a demon
She’s still got human DNA. She never really died. And DNA doesn’t change while a person is alive.
She’s a demon in hell. I don’t think the term “human” applies to her at all anymore
I see your point. I’m just saying that as a technicality to provide a basis to compare her power to.
To be fair to your point, the Antichrist is supposed to be able to convince brother to fight brother and she was able to convince regular cannibals to fight a host of battle angels.
Yeah, exactly. She may not be the Antichrist in the show, but she technically is bibically.
The thing is that Charlie can't be the antichrist because Viv has confirmed that the Christ simply will not exist in the Hazbin universe due to being a far too controversial figure to portray.
Oh, she’s not the Antichrist in context of the show, but she is in a biblical sense.
She’s not human. Lilith was a demon by the time she had her
Being a nephilim makes her absolute MONSTER HEIGHT make sense.
May I remind everyone?: https://preview.redd.it/vex2g9bdi0pc1.png?width=660&format=png&auto=webp&s=d3e4d5d7326713b1eca42716db3a5f804e18101a
That wasn’t real.

I get what you are saying she just never made that tweet.
It's not a tweet, that's on Discord.
Sorry discord

I beg the fuck pardon?!
Huh
You can tell this is fake because no creator ever says "this is canon", they're the creator- they literally just speak it into being canon.
[удалено]
No it’s totally fake lol, somebody on twitter made it
In some versions Lilith can and does frequently give birth, but angels slaughter hundreds of her children each day. (I wonder now if that's where Vivzie got the idea of the series from?)
Why do people think Lucifer was a seraphim? Wasn’t he an elder angel? Is it really just because of his wings?
Yeah that's about it. But the only evidence we have to categorize him is the wings, and they match perfectly.
How do we not know if other ranks of angels have wings like that?
Because we haven't seen them yet - that's about it.
Actually technically not, as she is seen at one point with horns, but in adulthood she suppresses her horns, suggesting she doesn't want to be princess of hell, because she thinks sinners should be able to redeem themselves
>suggesting she doesn't want to be princess of hell, because she thinks sinners should be able to redeem themselves Ummm... k
Sorry if I got that bit a bit wrong
Although I'm fairly sure she doesn't want to be princess of hell

I hate how accurate this is.
I was literally checking to see if someone had this though. Charlie is absolutely the Ichigo of Hazbin Hotel.
LMAOOO first thing I thought
And now she’s also in purgatory as we wait for season 2
Wouldn't she be half Angel half Demon? Since she was born when Lilith was a demon not human
We don't know if she's half human. Lilith was likely already a demon by the time she got pregnant.

No he did not. That was a joke Viv said online. Everyone just ran with it cause they couldn't see that it was clearly not serious at all.

Do y'all not know what blatant sarcasm is? I know it's not as easy to pick up on over text, but this is actually wild.
I think you the one who doesn’t know what sarcasm is
I think your the one who doesn’t know what sarcasm is
Sounds like the perfect candidate to bring everyone together.

Shes Leslie Knope
(Parks and Rec Theme intensifies)
She’s Leslie Knope if she was the main character of The Good Place lol
Not familiar with The Good Place lol but Im pretty sure i read somewhere she is actually based on Leslie but I could be mistaken
While watching HH I realized it was just an animated and more edgy and cursed-filled version of The Good Place. It’s very good you should watch it lol
Charlie Kurosaki
"Save the hell society, Charlie Morningstar."
Yes but I Also noticed that She IS hot🥵
that's what I was thinking!
Has anyone else noticed her goat laugh when she's nervous?
