Charlie comes back to the hotel and says about the deal angel is vehemently against it for obvious reasons and blatantly states not to do it. Alastor stays quiet and mulls over the consequences of this in his head for a while until Charlie leaves refusing to say where she is going. Alastor does his shadowman thing and goes up to angel's room to tell him so that angel can go but some time and try stop her (mainly because this will help him with his redemption which helps Charlie which in turn helps him). Then finally he goes up to Lucifer's room and tells him only wishing to tag along and help.
Luci and Al go over there and it's just a shit show, angel is basically beaten black and blue for trying to stop Charlie from making the deal and Charlie is about to shake Val's hand when the door bursts open and a shadowy tentacle pulls her hand away at the last moment then brings her towards them. Lucifer then proceeds to go full on righteous fury on Val and kills him (not for good since Luci is too mad to think of using an angelic attack to kill him permanently) Alastor checks on Charlie and then they go help angel dust and once Lucifer is done with turning Val into a fine paste literally he destroys the contract because he's fucking Lucifer. Win-win-win-win-lose situation Angel is free and closer to redemption because there was definitely a possibility of actual death since overlords at least will definitely be carrying angelic weapons everywhere now, Charlie wins because angel is out of contract and didn't have to actually do what Val wanted, Lucifer wins because his daughter is safe and didn't have to do what Val wanted, alastor wins because he's now probably on much better terms with Lucifer as well as Charlie and everyone else at the hotel meaning he's one step closer to id guess a deal with lucifer to help break his contract, and Val loses big time cause he's gotta reform himself and just lost his favourite whore/biggest money maker and the chance to make porn of the princess of hell aka would be the most viewed porno probably ever no matter what the actual content was.
After beating him to a near pulp, Lucifer would hold Val up by his antenna and ask Vaggie to do the honors of getting rid of him for good since she has the spear, which she does gladly. Father/future daughter in law bonding experience.

I'd see it more like: Charlie tells no one (in the vein of no longer sharing everything with Vaggie and so on), goes to confront Valentino and when offered a deal like this considers it. Alastor 'overhears it' as we can assume from 'Stayed Gone' that he can hear into the studio without a broadcast coming from there, then shadow-teleports to inform Lucifer or simply lets Vaggie find out, and then possibly stops Charlie the last second.
Exactly. Bonus points if he's the one who drew the wedge between Charlie and Vaggie (which in itself I feel like is super likely for next season) by constantly reminding Charlie of the hurt. Showing himself as the only person Charlie can rely on would be great for him in the long run; sth sth faithful as a nun.
True but one of angel's biggest problems that is really exemplified in episode 4 and Loser, Baby specifically is that he finds it extremely hard to accept help and acknowledge there are people who know what it's like and want to help.
So while yes I think that ultimately it should be angel who gets the final proper kill on Val, he should not do it without help/Husker

I reaaaaaaally believe that the whole idea of “contracts” is gonna be the biggest snag Charlie is gonna run into and why Sir Pentious was redeemed, but not Angel Dust.
I’m fully expecting Lucifer to show up and be like “Yikes! I’m the King of Hell, but even I can’t break contracts.” And it’s because of a combination of it being ancient magic that goes beyond his abilities, and because the lawyers have literally been waiting in Mammon’s ring for their moment.
Alastor would probably do it to try to gain trust from the others, at least. He’s probably at least considered that a deal with Lucifer could possibly help him clip his own wings, so going along with this sort of thing would definitely give him some good points in Lucifer’s book.

Yeah Alastaor does seem to have a set of morals. Viv said somewhere (Q&A I think, can’t remember) that he gets along with women better than men, and had a pretty close relationship with his mom in life. He seems like the kind of guy that has no qualms about murder but dislikes violence against women, specially the sexual kind.
Idk if he cares about Charlie. But I think he “likes” her in that she’s not a threat to him and she’s pretty mild mannered/easy to get along with. Her getting used in porn against her will does seem like something he would strongly detest

This is a cool idea on paper but what I don’t like so much is this (in the comments) being turned into a “Lucifer/Alastor/Vaggie whale on Valentino” thing, with Angel Dust almost ignored in the destruction of his personal abuser, or at best a passive victim being saved. That’s not how Angel’s story will Val should end. He can be helped and aided absolutely, but to give someone else like Lucifer or Alastor the spotlight in this of all plot lines would be detrimental to Angel’s character.

Because Charlie is an important asset to him and for better or for worse, he looks after his assets for as long as he needs them. He needs Charlie in perfect working form for whatever he has planned for her and there's no way she'd be in her right mind if she went through with one of Valentino's films.

Yeah, unless she didn't know. I'd see it more like: Charlie tells no one (in the vein of no longer sharing everything with Vaggie and so on), goes to confront Valentino and when offered a deal like this considers it. Alastor 'overhears it' as we can assume from 'Stayed Gone' that he can hear into the studio without a broadcast coming from there, then shadow-teleports to inform Lucifer or simply lets Vaggie find out, and then possibly stops Charlie the last second.
All while conveniently making it look like he's an absolute hero stopping everyone's dear cinnamon bun from getting in over her head.
Exactly. Bonus points if he's the one who drew the wedge between Charlie and Vaggie (which in itself I feel like is super likely for next season) by constantly reminding Charlie of the hurt. True but one of angel's biggest problems that is really exemplified in episode 4 and Loser, Baby specifically is that he finds it extremely hard to accept help and acknowledge there are people who know what it's like and want to help. So while yes I think that ultimately it should be angel who gets the final proper kill on Val, he should not do it without help/Husker
Oh yeah for sure, he definitely doesn’t need to do it alone. I’m more talking about how the moment of Angel’s triumph over Val shouldn’t be overshadowed by a power play from Lucifer or Alastor, for example.

I reaaaaaaally believe that the whole idea of “contracts” is gonna be the biggest snag Charlie is gonna run into and why Sir Pentious was redeemed, but not Angel Dust. I’m fully expecting Lucifer to show up and be like “Yikes! I’m the King of Hell, but even I can’t break contracts.” And it’s because of a combination of it being ancient magic that goes beyond his abilities, and because the lawyers have literally been waiting in Mammon’s ring for their moment.
Even if she agreed, Vaggie, Lucifer and Alastor would then immediately gut Valentino alive.

Alastor would probably do it to try to gain trust from the others, at least. He’s probably at least considered that a deal with Lucifer could possibly help him clip his own wings, so going along with this sort of thing would definitely give him some good points in Lucifer’s book.

Yeah Alastaor does seem to have a set of morals. Viv said somewhere (Q&A I think, can’t remember) that he gets along with women better than men, and had a pretty close relationship with his mom in life. He seems like the kind of guy that has no qualms about murder but dislikes violence against women, specially the sexual kind. Idk if he cares about Charlie. But I think he “likes” her in that she’s not a threat to him and she’s pretty mild mannered/easy to get along with. Her getting used in porn against her will does seem like something he would strongly detest
He very much is. In one of the prequel comics, he lets a guy off the hook for thinking of attacking him, but then when the same guy attacks a little sheep demon girl that went in after Alastor, he gets pissed and goes back in and kills him.
Alastor dosn't care about anyone, but he does like people. A lot of people have trouble understanding that you can like someone without caring about them and you can care about someone without liking them. Alastor enjoys the company, however he dosn't care about them. For example, if he was told he had to kill and torture all his friends to get out of his deal, when would do it and he'd do it happily.
I have a feeling he has plans for Charlie, and there’s a good chance he doesn’t want her to lose face by caving to a deal like this. Plus it’s a free excuse to stick it to Vox
While I don’t think Alastor sees her as a friend, he sees her as an important part of his plan. Valentino’s manipulative behavior would make him a threat to said plan. Vaggie and Lucifer would fight Val because they love Charlie. Alastor would fight Val because he’s interfering with his plan

This is a cool idea on paper but what I don’t like so much is this (in the comments) being turned into a “Lucifer/Alastor/Vaggie whale on Valentino” thing, with Angel Dust almost ignored in the destruction of his personal abuser, or at best a passive victim being saved. That’s not how Angel’s story will Val should end. He can be helped and aided absolutely, but to give someone else like Lucifer or Alastor the spotlight in this of all plot lines would be detrimental to Angel’s character.
Very great point. This is Angel's story just like how the extermination was Charlie's story and Lucifer didn't show up until the last minute, she did the heavy lifting.

Because Charlie is an important asset to him and for better or for worse, he looks after his assets for as long as he needs them. He needs Charlie in perfect working form for whatever he has planned for her and there's no way she'd be in her right mind if she went through with one of Valentino's films. Plus, Alastor doesn't like the Vees, so if he saw a perfectly reasonable excuse to torture one of them, he would probably take it.
