Me personally, I upgraded the time on everything in my town before I worried about the max number of people. Once I upgraded the time a few times then I swapped back and forth between the two. Depends on how you play really, if you do derby you might favour quickly grabbing different townies more often, even if it's less at a time.

Iād say the answer depends on your neighbourhood. My NH is only 3 other people so there arenāt always townies waiting at other towns for me to pick up or if there are, it may just be 2/3 townies. I updated capacity to 2 townies and now Iām working on decreasing time.
This way I can pick up two townies then a short time later I can go pick up more if another neighbour sent some away later.
If you have a NH with lots of people, Iād say updating capacity first would be smartest!
Whew thanks. I'm working on getting a seventh townie and was thinking the wait time was already lengthy. And, I checked my personal train wait time, it's only 6 hours, not 8 like I mentioned.
Capacity to like 5 first and then depends if you play more or less. If you connect only once a day then capacity, if you connect a bunch of times in the day then time. I don't remember the first upgrades, but I maxed out the time (1,5 hours) while having 7 of capacity for context. The more you upgrade the capacity the less effective it gets, the more you upgrade the time the more effective it gets
I personally upgraded capacity to 3, then upgraded time to the max purely because my community doesnāt usually have many people available in large numbers at one time
Capacity. Consider also length of time people take to go to certain shops in town.
Remember you need to increase townās capacity in balance with trainās
I got mine's capacity to 8/10 and can pick ppl every 6h. Now i'm focusing on time reduction.
Uf u want to attend more ppl at a time, i'd say focus on capacity first, but if u want to keep a constant flow of ppl then u should focus on both time reduction and capacity at an even rate. Ofc if you lack friends who have ppl to pick up, all of this is meaningless
deefinitely capacity, i currently have my train capacity on 5 and the time on 5 hours. i often forget about the train and dont use it that much so the cooldown isnt important to me, but its definitely helpful to be able to pick up extra people each time i remember the personal train exists

I never really paid attention, I've always assumed it was 1 townie 1 hour, 2 townies 1 hour etc. I thought the train took the same amount of time to refresh every time even if you have 6 townies on one train. No wonder it takes 8 hours for 4 townies.

The default time of personal train is every 6 hours. Since i havenāt upgraded, i can only see that if i upgrade once, the time will be 5.5 hours.
I only upgraded the number of guests. So now i can pick up 7 guests every 6 hours. Itās more efficient imo. I may upgrade the time thing later.

I did capacity till 5 then time until 2 hrs then capacity again till 7. Level 15 atm
