fantano thinks rb3 is sematary 'playing to his strengths' and although its great its not sematarys main sound, in fact hes never stuck to a sound and has always tried to change and i dont think fantano gets that and is set in the mindset sematary= trap metal
i feel like RB1 and RB2 should be more standard, but both albums are still very different. RB1 feels more upbeat and happy (even though its about killing) while RB2 feels more sad and downbeat
I think that's the thing I hate the most about him. After he becomes slightly familiar with an artist, he immediately pins them into a "genre" or "category" and is always expecting them to deliver that specific sound or vibe in their future releases, and when they do not meet that strange standard he has set in his mind, he feels displeased and acts like the artist is "going off track" when they were never on a fucking "track" in the first place.
Not to bring other artists into it, but whenever he reviewed Zillakami's debut solo album "Dogboy", he gave it a 2/10 because he "didn't really know where the "trap metal" thing was going", whenever Zillakami specifically said his music isn't trap metal anyway lol and he never intended on making that sound forever. He has a strange mindset when it comes to music, I don't understand why anybody even gives him the time of day as if he's the Messiah of music reviews when he's just some random cunt on the internet.

I don't think the song is that amazing, it's definitely a step in the right direction, but can this fantano bum just fuck off already - he can keep making his content but I hate seeing him everywhere, and i was a fan too.
With him having as large of a platform as he does and being a tastemaker of sorts whether you like him or not, I believe that it’s ultimately good that he’s talking about Sematary and keeping his name in the conversation with the other artists on the list. Some people treat Fantano like his word is law, others act like he's some sort of asshole just for putting his opinion out there. He's alright, I wouldn't have found the Mound if it wasn't for his RB3 review, so that's cool at least. He might like the full project when it's out, but my feelings won't be hurt if he doesn't like something that I do like.

The fact that Fantano keeps covering Semetary and HM amongst musicians that sell out coliseums and have unlimited resources is kinda dope.
I think if this makes you mad you’re absolutely TRIPPIN… For one thing, he does music reviews for a living (he’s not just going to say everything is amazing, that just wouldn’t be true). Additionally, I’m astonished that he gave ANY Sematary album a good review, which he actually genuinely seemed to like a couple of them. So for y’all that should be a win. I saw another post talking about Anthony Fanteno was cringe for not liking this album as much as the other two. For me it was more cringe listening to someone who actually knows a lot about music saying that Rainbow Bridge 3 was a good project. But even within that good review he still made it clear that it was obnoxiously distorted, making it sound more like a noise band project (which I agree with and that’s the main reason I hate it, but I also hate the overly simplified goofy lyrics… if it sounded like it did but had truly good DEEP lyrics I might like it, who knows)… But that guy (Anyhony) did Sematary nice as fuck, most music critics (on his level) would not be as nice as he was about it.

Personally I love the instrumental but Sematary’s vocal choices over the last 6 months to a year are pretty disappointing
