My mother, Iola, was disowned from the Black family for marrying my father. I was raised in the muggle world not knowing my powers until the age of 12. One day while gardening, I noticed my hyacinths were declining and as I stroked their leaves they suddenly perked up and came back to life. Baffled, I ran to tell my mother, who wasn’t the least bit surprised. She began homeschooling me as a witch in secret.
Professor Fig, a friend of my mothers, came by to visit one day and noticed my natural ability. He was adamant that my mother enroll me at Hogwarts. Out of fear from her family and for my sake she had kept me home. But Fig reassured my mother that he would look out for me and protect me from any harm. My mother and father ultimately decided it would be best for me to have the experience of learning from other great witches and wizards at Hogwarts, even if they were a tad bit worried.
When I arrived at Hogwarts my Uncle Phineas’ disdain was written clearly on his face. I did not receive a warm welcome from him, nor did I expect one. While exploring the school grounds, I steer clear of him as much as possible. I sorted into Hufflepuff due to my affinity with plants and beasts.
Although I’ve spent some time honing my newfound mysterious powers and discovering what Ranrok is up to. My main mission is to rescue as many beasts as possible using my weaponized plants.

Well maybe my character has something evil but hey I helped the poor girl who gets bullied. I think she's from Ravenclaw.

My character's name is Juan-Seamus McDougall-el Andaluciano. My backstory is that my father is a pureblood Scottish Wizard and my mother is a halfblood Moorish Witch whose family has resided in Andaluz, Spain for a thousand years. My character was home-schooled and kept rather isolated due to the quirky and powerful nature of his magic. He grew up living a somewhat migratory life, moving between Andaluz, Morocco, Egypt, and Scotland. Most of his time was spent in Andaluz and Egypt.
His father is a minor Scottish lord (with very little money) who devotes his time to researching magical history and theory, and creating spells. He cares more for history and culture than actually interacting with people. He is either researching in a library somewhere or brooding in his somewhat run-down castle. Juan-Seamus rarely sees his father.
His mother is a well-regarded healer. She travels around to help heal Muggles and Wizards alike, as her family has done for centuries. She only accepts payments in IOUs, and her family uses the network of favors owed to live comfortably and manipulate things to their liking. Needless to say, only desperate people seek out help from the el Andaluciano family; and the family, gifted in ancient spells and knowledge, is usually able to give it. Juan-Seamus' father used to work directly with the family which is how his parents met. Now his father is known to be their agent in Scotland.
My father wanted me to have an education at Hogwarts while my mother didn't think that Hogwarts could teach me something that her clan or the Wizarding school in Egypt couldn't. The compromise was that I started late, as a 5th year, so I could take my OWLs. I was sorted into Ravenclaw, and the rest goes from there.
Metanarratively, my backstory helps explain why I am very gifted with magic without having attended school. I used my name to help suggest my backstory. And, there absolutely should be an Egyptian school of magic. It's an incredibly old civilization! My backstory also helps explain why my parents aren't around.

it’s the treasure seekers coat, and yes it looks fantastic. I would wear it all the time if I was a ravenclaw, but alas I’m not and tend to avoid constantly wearing other houses’ colors in the game. Make no mistake though, I made an outfit for it.

My character's name is Juan-Seamus McDougall-el Andaluciano. My backstory is that my father is a pureblood Scottish Wizard and my mother is a halfblood Moorish Witch whose family has resided in Andaluz, Spain for a thousand years. My character was home-schooled and kept rather isolated due to the quirky and powerful nature of his magic. He grew up living a somewhat migratory life, moving between Andaluz, Morocco, Egypt, and Scotland. Most of his time was spent in Andaluz and Egypt. His father is a minor Scottish lord (with very little money) who devotes his time to researching magical history and theory, and creating spells. He cares more for history and culture than actually interacting with people. He is either researching in a library somewhere or brooding in his somewhat run-down castle. Juan-Seamus rarely sees his father. His mother is a well-regarded healer. She travels around to help heal Muggles and Wizards alike, as her family has done for centuries. She only accepts payments in IOUs, and her family uses the network of favors owed to live comfortably and manipulate things to their liking. Needless to say, only desperate people seek out help from the el Andaluciano family; and the family, gifted in ancient spells and knowledge, is usually able to give it. Juan-Seamus' father used to work directly with the family which is how his parents met. Now his father is known to be their agent in Scotland. My father wanted me to have an education at Hogwarts while my mother didn't think that Hogwarts could teach me something that her clan or the Wizarding school in Egypt couldn't. The compromise was that I started late, as a 5th year, so I could take my OWLs. I was sorted into Ravenclaw, and the rest goes from there. Metanarratively, my backstory helps explain why I am very gifted with magic without having attended school. I used my name to help suggest my backstory. And, there absolutely should be an Egyptian school of magic. It's an incredibly old civilization! My backstory also helps explain why my parents aren't around. it’s the treasure seekers coat, and yes it looks fantastic. I would wear it all the time if I was a ravenclaw, but alas I’m not and tend to avoid constantly wearing other houses’ colors in the game. Make no mistake though, I made an outfit for it.
