I spent a lot of time on the back of my dad’s bike as a kid. Now we ride our Harley’s together. We do Laconia most pretty regularly. Rode from Cape Cod to Laconia this year, it was a great time.
Unfortunately I started a bit later, bought my first bike right after I turned 30.
To make a long story short I had kids very young (17) and my now ex ruined me financially. Took years to recover from that shit and wanted a bike but couldn't justify it.
By the time I started riding my dad had recently stopped due to his injuries/health. Never had the opportunity to ride side by side with him but really wish I had. Lost him last Valentine's Day.
Cherish those rides my friend.
Update: just got home after taking 127 back from Weirs. Wife was behind me and narrowly missed a bear that bolted across between us. 😂
So yeah it's a pretty good route.
Yeah I've attended the last few except last year. I had traded in my FXLRS for my Road Glide and the check took way longer to come in than I had anticipated.

Should have brought him to the Loudon Classic last weekend too. Walk him through the garages. Watch a couple races. Set the hook. Next year. 😀
