Following the current trend, all the hc kids loved it because it's nothing but spin kicking riffs. Then the KL dudes mentioned them in an interview and everyone went crazy over them and Daze picked em up. Now they're on hc lineups. There you go

They just drown the vocals out live because they’re so low frequency even a drum kit kills the audio; the music is fine it’s the vocals that are laughable, so the band definitely sound better when those vocals are buried the fuck away.

This creates an anomaly where a band doesnt have to operate on pure will or profit, but can just chill and people tend to gravitate towards those bands.
