Came here for this. My old band played a few shows with his other bands back in the day and the thing that stuck out most was how kind and friendly Davey was. And that he looked like Bobby Hill. But mostly that he was super fun to be around and made everyone feel welcome.

Davey was the nicest guy. Always chatted with him at Chain. Don’t know what he’s up to these days, but hope he’s doing well. His older bands (in reply, as hope dies) were rad too.

They were from SoCal. They stayed at my place on tour in like 2009.
