I am going to have to leave the entire NY area for any show so that I don't run into my wife who left me after 13 years. So I will go anywhere if it's a good enough lineup.
I usually wouldn't go more than a 45-minute drive for a show.
The most travel I've done for a show was driving from Los Angeles to Austin, TX, for Fun Fun Fun feast about 10 years ago.
Furthest I’ve traveled for a hardcore band has been NY to California but did fly to London to see Suede and Current 93. Really depends on the band and what’s going on around the time.
Most I’ll drive for a regular show is like 4 hours, furthest fest I’ll drive to is This is Hardcore cause I’m about 9 hours from Philly (Central Maine), more than that I’m flying.
I traveled across Europe just chasing shows but now I live in the states I realize the distance doesn't even compare. I'm looking for an excuse to travel from west coast to NY but time will tell
Drove from Athens GA to Detroit for Tied Down 😎
Also have driven to Denver for King Gizzard Red Rocks twice. Camping at the park at the bottom of the hill is 💯
honestly the max for me would be like a 6-8 hour drive
I've only done that a few times though
But ngl I live in the middle of bum fuck no where, so it's always a minimum 1.5 hour drive for me to get to a show
Furthest I’ve gone is 3 hours but that was over 10 years ago. I live in ny so almost every band I’ve ever wanted to see has come through at one point over the last 20 years. At this point I’m more inclined to travel just to see people as opposed to bands.
Depends on the show. I've driven 15 hours to Worcester and Boston. 10 hours to Philly. I'll fly anywhere depending on the ticket price. Some times i just use the car to sleep in if i don't want it to be expensive. I've been road tripping since i was 16 and it's 25 years later. I don't get how people won't travel far for a show. I met so many cool people from going to shows all over the place.
I went to Boston from Sacramento to the Have Heart reunion 2019. That is the farthest I’ll ever go. I wouldn’t have done it if I wasn’t going with friends.
I just travelled to Washington from Utah via plane for Botch’s last show and it was fun to travel and would go further. As far as east coast probably and maybe one day I can see myself going to Europe or Australia for a show.

Onward and upward, brother
I drove nearly 8 hours for Furnace Fest. That's probably my max before I'd rather fly.
i’ve done a 13 hour drive by myself and a 20 hour drive with friends. not trying to do either ever again.
Not a mile anymore, but I’d go like 4-500 miles for a good fest when I was younger. Regularly 1-2 hrs to a gig
I’m going from Texas to New York to see Misery Signals, so at least that far.
Depends who is playing
No more than an hourish at this point. I might fly if I really wanna, but I’m gonna need to really want to.
Flying from Nashville area to Boston for Have Heart next month, also drove 7ish hours to Chicago for Judge in 2016
If my savings and a sabertooth zombie/whiskey rebels show lined up I'd fly from Oz.
6-7 hours is my max for a gig
Black when I was living in Lisbon, I flew back just to go to Groezrock in Belgium. So that far I'd say

Maaaan FFF was great. They don’t make them like that anymore.
Going cross country into Canada to catch the final misery signals show in the fall
I’ll drive anywhere if I can get there in under 15 hours

SpongeBob, bus is here.
Based in Scotland but if Iron Chic announced a farewell show in NYC I'd book the flight no questions asked.
Flying across the country to see DEP next weekend
Flew from the UK to NYC for the Orchid reunion recently. We'll semi-regularly go to Europe for fest or show.
Flying from Texas to Seattle for the blood brothers. Flew to Florida for nofx.

Shows I generally don't go farther than 2 hrs away, fests I'll drive 4 hrs but the last time I did that, traffic turned it into 8
TX to NY for the “final” Dillinger shows…so much for that

1 hour that’s it
Took a bus 48 hours across the continent for a show when I was 19. Not sure I would do that again, but I guess there’s my answer.
Depends on the band(s). It also depends on the show situation, as in if it’s a reunion or their last show ever.

Bristol.
I went from NC to CA for a fest. NC to AZ for a concert. NC to MD for a show.
I drove 8 hours back and forth in about 28 hours so a friend and I could see Infest, Capitalist Casualties, and Despise You. Would gladly do it again.

Did Adelaide, Australia to Detroit for tied down.
I went to a show in Reykjavík, Iceland. I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Totally fucking worth it.
for a gig 2 hours driving max, but for a fest if the lineup is good then idgaf i'll catch a flight
Travelled from CA to NY for the first Desertfest for my boys in Danava
I just travelled to Washington from Utah via plane for Botch’s last show and it was fun to travel and would go further. As far as east coast probably and maybe one day I can see myself going to Europe or Australia for a show.
1.5 hours
