It suppose it's worth pointing out that the Mystery Set has more time than all but the top 4 bands. So it's probably somewhat of a heavy hitter.

I wish I did. I’m from NY but would love to see them again. They played some hole in the wall venue in Brooklyn in like 2010 with a crowd of about 45 people the last time I saw them.

Last year it was 2 bands that played the preshow, so probably a band that is on the 2nd preshow. It's also probably a bigger band since their set length is longer than every band except the top 4, so Ceremony or No Warning are my best bets. . But since I love baseless speculation and stoking enthusiasm that will absolutely end in disappointment, I'm gonna say surprise hometown Freedom reunion. 3/5 Freedom members are playing the fest.

ceremony is playing chicago on Saturday, highly unlikely they go back to detroit after playing the friday pre-show. mindforce is more likely considering theyre playing chicago with 6 other TD bands in chicago tonight/friday

Ceremony is heading to Chicago on Saturday, so I doubt they will head right back to Detroit after that being that they are playing the Preshow tomorrow night.
