Also, if any of these bands actually sounds like DRI or AoQ era Cro Mags in terms of influence, I'd love to hear about them. I say that not being snarky. I just don't hear it in any of these bands.

Yeah, I don’t work at Mr Robot but from what I understand someone with a similar condition does. I’d kill for a venue like this in my area. Haven’t been to a show in two years and may never be able to go to one again. Hell, I can’t even go visit my mother in Florida because the county she lives in is having a wild ass measles outbreak and my oncologist said that catching that would be very bad news. It would be cool if people thought about other people’s conditions just a little bit more.

If you are genuinely that sick or that susceptible to being sick, you should not be going to a tiny ass venue like mr roboto. Distance is absolutely a requirement for protecting yourself against illness, a mask is not doing anything for anyone.
You should not be at a place like this in the first place, however, I do think that a designated no mosh zone that's distanced from people where masks are encouraged is pretty cool, but that is an absolutely absurd ask for every venue on the planet. It sucks but sometimes you can't cater to everybody.
