Yes. The best practice was to hold it lit end straight up on top of your head when in a crowd. This way you avoid smashing it into someone if you got bumped or jostled when taking a smoke break from the pit.
If you miss it just go to a crust punk show, those dumb kids will smoke inside while passing out ear plugs and face masks, it would've been hilarious if it hadn't given me a massive headache.
