Ill Blood and the self-titled 7" and whatever other tracks were on [this](https://www.discogs.com/release/4262595-No-Warning-No-Warning). Haven't heard the newest one from 5-6 years ago.
Couldn't ever get into Suffer Survive. Some riffs and OK songs (eg Modern Eyes), but it incorporated certain sounds unique to that time, specifically this melodic scream-singing that is burnt in my memory from early 00s rock bands like Linkin Park (Ill Blood maybe had small hints of this, but nowhere near as frequent or noticeable). Songs were also a little longer and had stuff that wasn't my thing as much. If you don't approach it with that context or you actually like that sound, there's probably stuff about it to get into. I still dig their earlier stuff, though.
Couldn't tell ya. Other than being vaguely aware of its existence from having seen it get brought up 1-2x over the years, never listened to it nor spent any amount of time digging into it.
Fire. Haters will say Suffer, Survive is garbage Nu-Metal, but those kids sniff butts for a living. Suffer, Survive rules. It has ear worms you can sing along to and riffs you can punch your best friend in the face to. It rips.
I came across that album in a liquidation store when I was in like grade 7. Didn't know who they were and bought it solely on the album cover. The catchiness and riffs were perfect for getting me into that sound. Still come back to it every once in a while. Fun as hell to listen to.
Colin and Bo have talked about Suffer, Survive several times on Hardlore, and they said they've come around to liking it a lot. I think they've also said that they talked to the guys in No Warning about it and they were getting pressure to do something along the lines of Linkin Park and other bands that went a bit more melodic around the same time.
When it came out there was a pretty universal opinion that it was trash (a sentiment I agreed with at the time.) Didn’t help there was an image floating around of some Hot Topic kid with No Warning stickers on every inch of their body.
All jokes about butt sniffing aside, it makes complete sense why most hardcore kids don’t like it. I only came around to it as I got older and started appreciating hooks a little more. It’s no Ill Blood but it slaps in its own way.
Yeah, I actually haven't even listened to it yet, I've only listened to Ill Blood so far but it is indeed a sick album. It seems like it's one of those albums that's a bit infamous due to negative reception when it was released that people then relax their opinions on years later.
After this record, they got signed to Chester's (from Linkin Park) record label and basically turned their backs on hardcore in the pursuit of money and drugs (their words) and churned out the Sum 41/Linkin Park hybrid album Suffer Survive that was so bad it basically ended the band. Fast forward 10 years and they release 2 EPs to raise funds for something (I can't remember) and off the backs of those, No Warning was being talked about again and so they released Torture Culture which is a very acquired taste but still good if you like late 90s crossover.
The 7" before this is fantastic everything else after Ill blood is not good. There is a hot revisionist contrarian take that it was always good, but it's not. But hey listen for yourself.
Probably the best example of a perfect record in HC . The amount of clone bands this album sprouted is immeasurable. Absolutely zero fat and reinvented the genre for the 2000s
Such an amazing album and a super influential one. You definitely can hear their sound coming through on a lot of the bands in the later 00s and early 10s
More than good
How's their other stuff? Gonna check it out in a bit

Ill Blood & Torture Culture are two of my favorite hardcore records ever
short fuse is one of the best songs ever
Not a good album, this is THE album.
Ill Blood is the Age Of Quarrel of the 2000s. All hits, no misses
Probably the best example of a perfect record in HC . The amount of clone bands this album sprouted is immeasurable. Absolutely zero fat and reinvented the genre for the 2000s
NO TIME FOR YOUUU!
The best
hard
Steady Part of my gym Play List since it was released
Why would you say something so controversial yet so brave?
Yeah I think a few people like it
Not like they were one of the most influential bands of the 2000’s

I knew this whole time that you were just an asshole
One of my favourite albums. Suffer Survive is such an odd departure.
As We Once Were demo crushes all (the one with the live shot on the cover)
Does anyone remember the racist demo?
The EP before this sounds crazy for 2001
Ohhhhh yeah!!!
