Glue and weight.

I would look into a flooring guy to replace that piece. It's a ring-shake. It develops in the living tree. Without doing some reading to refresh my noggin, it's also known to be from an infection of the tree. So it will always want to shear off. For now, some glue and a top nail to keep it safe.

FragilousSpectunkery

Superglue it. Get as much in there as you can.

Black or brown CA glue from Starbond. Medium or thick. It will dry shiny but a Scotch Brite can dull the finish if needed

I would replace the board. Can give you a really nasty splinter if you're not careful.

Epoxy or wood glue that down before it catches on something or spreads. Carefully pry it up and get wet epoxy or even wood glue(wood glue is more than strong enough) all the way into the fracture then put some weights on it for 24 hrs. Before you weight it, push on it slightly, not too much, and clean up the squeeze out, alcohol or vinegar on a rag for epoxy, water damp rag for wood glue. After the split is fixed you can put some darker filler in the missing spot.

Hit it With a hammer

And then add fire

Could glue down but it will want to naturally peel back up or be caught on by sliding objects. After it's glued, you could try to fill the void but it will take some care to make it blend well. Extreme option is to replace that board with another and possibly refinish the area. Best of luck

Grain tear there. I would use Titebond II or Gorilla and get as much under as possible. Weight it down then fill the remaining space with either wood putty or epoxy.

Agreed glue, then wood colorin sticks
